  1. Alright, thanks for enlightening me, guys! I'll learn to live with it, worst case scenario I'll have to stick with dualsabers, one-handing and mixing lightsaber use with regular melee weapons. It's manageable.
  2. Which one, the Ultimate World Textures mod..? It has some TXI files, but not many. As for the alpha channels, I know for a fact that at least a few of the textures have alpha channels, as I edited the colour of them to better fit with the rest of the mods I'm using. But I can't say that I've checked all the files, and the ones I have checked weren't using cubemaps.
  3. Yup, that's what I'm referring to. The TEL_shutin.tga texture has been upscaled already, as part of the Unlimited World Texture mod. Doesn't look as good as a manual reskin would but it's better than the standard texture (except the floor in the shuttle is black, but that could be caused by something else). But the shutcrsh.tga doesn't have any HD re-textures at all except that "upscale" done in some image editing software, unless I'm overlooking something. This is the TEL_shutcrash texture I was referring to, by the way. Note how the lines and edges are extremely jagged, which is incredibly noticeable in-game.
  4. Oh, I see. I've been having the same issue in TSL so I kinda jumped the shark, I guess. My bad.
  5. So I've been googling and searching and downloading and swearing, but I just can't find any HD shuttle textures for TSL that look, well, HD. I found one that's basically just the regular texture upscaled in GIMP/Photoshop (which doesn't look that good, very blocky-pixly look to it), and one that's at standard resolution which actually looks worse than the normal one, at least in my opinion. Specifically looking for HD versions of the TEL_shutcrsh.tga and TEL_shutin.tga textures, mainly. Maybe there are none. If you're good at making textures and have some time to spare, why not give it a go..? I'd do it myself but, well, I lack the skills needed, to be frank. My skills cap out at simple image editing/recolouring, at least for now. So yeah, if someone comes across textures like these, or has the time, will, and skill needed to make them, let me know!
  6. No worries, glad I could help! It fixes the transparency issue!
  7. I don't mean to kick a dead horse, but was this issue ever resolved? I temporarily downgraded my game from the Aspyr patch to the legacy patch and the blending issue with the lightsabers seemed to go away. Did Aspyr change how OpenGL renders the lightsabers? If so, could one maybe use an OpenGL32.dll file along with a config to revert that change, at least in theory..? I'm not a modder but I've learned a great deal about TSL these last few weeks, so if I'm missing something important let me know.
  8. I didn't have any conflict installing the fix you provided, so no, he most likely did not modify that model. Thanks for the fix, I'll try to let you know how it turns out! (I'll DEFINITELY let you know if it didn't work, heh)
  9. Yeah, I've been reading up a lot ever since I started venturing outside the Steam workshop for mods, so I pretty much knew that about transparency already. What's weird is, when I switch back to the standard remote texture, the eye isn't see-through, and when I extract that texture, It doesn't show an alpha channel on the lens. When I make a .txi to try and resolve the issue I've set the material to CM_baremetal (because that's the first one you learn about scouring the web) but then the lens just turns... White-ish. Like there's barely any hint of the metal texture. Ahh well, I'll keep experimenting.
  10. I am playing a heavily modded playthrough, and Bao-Dur's remote has transparent "eyes"/lenses. I checked the texture, and it does appear that this part of the texture is indeed transparent, but what I don't understand is why it's rendered as transparent and not as in the pictures you've posted...
  11. This panel in the Ebon hawk is too dark to properly show the texture underneath, while the screen.txt texture is unaffected, the underlying texture is not. These pictures show the issue with mods, which make it more noticeable, but the issue is still present even if I uninstall all mods, although the standard texture is slightly lighter lighter which makes the issue a bit less obvious. This is a lightmapping issue, right? Is there any way to lessen the darkness, so as to decrease the contrast between the screen texture and the wall texture..?
  12. For me, the panel right below the one you fixed, in the cockpit, is almost entirely black. Does anyone know how to fix this..? Edit: Seems to be a lightmapping issue, there's a texture there, it's just not shown. The Screen texture is shown, probably because it's set to "Decal 1" or something like that...
  13. I'm having this exact bug, except it applies to every lightsaber in game that can be dual weilded, not just the bronze ones: 1) When did the problem begin to occur? First noticed it yesterday, might have been there longer, my previous playthrough I barely dual-wielded lightsabers at all, so it might have been there then as well. 2) Did you install the latest version of the mod? Yes, the 1.8.5 version on Steam 3) What version of the game do you have? (Steam, 4CD, KotOR Collection?) What region is the game designed for if it's the 4 CD version? Steam 4) Did you update your game as required by your game's region? Yes 5) Did you install this over the previous version(s), or did you perform a fresh installation as required by the TSLRCM's read-me file? Fresh install, I even tried removing TSLRCM and the bug persisted, so it might be a basegame bug, but I'm hoping someone here knows what's up none the less, it's not like Aspyr will help me out with this 😎 What other mods did you have installed? Please give an accurate list and provide links to each of these mods - even if they are found on this site. (We don't actually know them all!.) At first I had loads of them, though only texture replacement ones and model fixes except for the upscaled movies. Then I removed all of them, and did a clean install of TSLRCM, but the issue persisted. After that, I uninstalled and reinstalled the entire game, without TSLRCM, but the issue still persisted. I'm thinking either something's still there or there's a file somewhere else doing this, but that's just an uneducated guess. 9) Can you be more specific about the error? At what point did it happen? At the end of Peragus I used the KSE to give my character some lightsabers because I wanted to see how the new textures and models for them looked. After doing this, I realized that the hue on some of the lightsaber blades were a bit off, and that the hilt textures were popping in and out like crazy. So, I edited the blade textures in GIMP, making sure to only change color, and saving the finished pictures as uncompressed .tga files, as well as editing the "DisableVertexBufferObjects=1" part of the swkotor2.ini file in order to fix the issue with the hilts. Once all this was done, I started the game up again, but then I noticed the issue I currently need help with: The hilt in the left hand was rendered in front of the other lightsabers blade in situations where it should have been behind the blade. The main sabers hilt did not get rendered this way, it was appearing behind the sabre blade as it should. 10) Have you tried re-downloading the mod? Yes I have. 11) Have you tried using a different save game? Yes I have. 12) Have you tried starting a new game? No, I can't see how that would fix anything. 13) What Operating System do you use? (List Virtual Machines as well if you are using them.) Windows 10 I have looked all over the web, tried restoring the swkotor.ini file, tried a few OpenGL32.dll files, but none of that has worked.
