People over there seem to agree with me that he does sound different, though. And in this case, different isn't better.

He also sounded different between KOTOR 1 and 2. The voice was the same but he spoken with a slightly different personality - that can't merely be explained away by the different writing styles.

I don't have first KotOR installed right now so can't check for sure, but I believe it was called mus_a_rep in game files (Republic theme probably). Remix I'm talking about was played in TOR when finding Revan's mask.
