  1. Welcome! This is actually my first forum as well.
  2. Now expanding my mod (installing) horizons to Skyrim. The presence of various utilities for that purpose helps out a lot.

I usually don't have many problems with skyrim. But I also don't go crazy with mods. I might try playing again once Chesko releases his new mod.

Xuul: What's Chesko's new mod, and what has he/she done in the past?

He makes survival mods for Skyrim: Primary needs, camping, hypothermia/winter survival. I've done videos on them before, they are all brilliant. http://skyrimsurvival.com/ if you are at all intrested

  3. This looks like a cool opportunity - unfortunately, I don't think I qualify for modding familiarity . Ah well.
  4. And I forgot to mention the returning party member from TOTAC I: Cancerous Oreo. (That one came courtesy of autocorrect.)
  5. Along with the Worshiper, Barad-dur, and Passports Scarr - all flying around on the Crimson Eagle. (We've all gotten so off topic here...)
  6. I might could work on names for that if you wanted.
  7. Or maybe The Evil Despots instead? I love all of this.
  8. Do you know if it's possible to test this mod out without playing through the whole game up to that point? EDIT: Just had a thought that I can use the save provided with Newbiemodder's Korriban Expansion. I may give this mod a spin this week. ANOTHER EDIT: I'm getting security warnings when I try to download it, so I guess I won't be trying it after all.
  9. Based on my experience, this is indeed compatible with TSLRCM.
  10. Ah yes, this mod's fun. Really makes the force power selection in the late game much more interesting. Good to see it coming to Deadlystream.
  11. Didn't one of the developers for TOR at one point choose the mullet man portrait as the canonical head? I remember that being quite satisfying as it was the portrait for my first characters. Of course, if you want something different, that's perfectly fine.
  12. This. Except it also applies to five years ago for me. I had zero interest in (or knowledge of) modding until I learned about the TSLRCM (for me, it was through reading about the game's cut content in Wookieepedia). It basically acted as my gateway to the world of modding... Since I don't have TSL on Steam, removing TSLRCM wouldn't have any impact on me... but if I did and had installed TSLRCM through the Workshop, I would be a little annoyed, since it would give me the inconvenience of having to find it elsewhere and install it (not to mention whatever technical problems might arise), and the reasons given really don't seem like they would be enough to satisfy me that it would be worth my trouble. I wouldn't be up in arms about it, but I would certainly prefer that it not happen if I was in that situation.
  13. I agree completely with this. Steam has thousands of games; having less people excited to buy one particular game (which, though it might be becoming more popular, is nowhere near one of the biggest games there, I believe) would almost certainly go unnoticed. If you want to teach Steam a lesson... that won't do it.
  14. I only have the KOTOR collection and the 4CD version of K1. After all, I only need one copy of each! (And I've given my collection copy of K1 to my younger siblings, too.)
  15. *Shrugs* I don't have the Steam version of TSL anyway... but I think that it wouldn't be a horrible idea, so long as you give people advance warning and let them know where the mod can be found. I only have one game that I actually use the Steam Workshop for, and only one of the three mods I currently have (planning to get more later) is from there. As long as mods are accessible from other places, I don't think it's terrible to not have them on the workshop. (Then again, I'm probably a bit more knowledgeable about mod installation than a bunch of people, if only by reason of a fair amount of experience.)
  16. The second time Kreia teaches you about listening, when you hear your crew's thoughts, among them will be Atton counting Pazaak cards in his head. After the lesson is finished, you can go and talk to him about it.
  17. The storyline is interesting. I'm not sure the dialog is really the most true to what the characters are like in-game, though.
  18. And I respond to that statement with another famous Star Wars quote, saying that it's true... from a certain point of view. But not the point of view I have.
  19. I just assumed that Korriban was the volcanic planet since that's what the galaxy map said.
  20. For whatever reason, that didn't excite me in the least...
  21. There is a small degree of strategy involved, mainly in when to play or not play your hand cards. Getting the better hand cards also helps a lot. But it's mostly luck.
