Go to your SWKotOR II installation directory, open your "swkotor2.ini" scroll down to to the [Graphic Options] search for and find "DisableVertexBufferObjects=1" now; simply put spaces between each word so it looks like this "Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1" If the line isn't there, just add it under [Graphic Options] at the end. Unfortunately I tried this and it crashes the game, it works but I'm still trying to find a solution to fix the texture problem without the game crashing. I don't think it's the mod itself causing the issue, since before I installed this mod it was still having the textures problem even with the default hilts...So I think there was a game update at some point that screwed textures up at some point and no one has been able to find a decent fix for it. Damn shame because this is a great mod.

If this mod isn't working for you then you may have a conflicting mod somewhere. Lightsaber mods are the most common conflicting ones but there may also be other mods you have that may conflict with it. I would say do a fresh install and install this mod right after the TLSRCM and The droid planet mod. The reason I say this is because it works fine for me but I don't really have any crazy mods.

Is there any possible way to add all the USM mod hilts to the pack or maybe at least the movie ones? Also I've noticed some of the hilts don't sit in the hands correctly Helion or Felucia or one of those look alike hilts can't remember which one. 2) I don't know if It can be fixed but the sith are always using Green sabers in my game which is a little bit odd I think 3) and finally is it too late to request hilt designs? I know it seems like I'm being a big whiner and this is probably the most ambitious mod ever made next to the Restored content pack and M4-78 but I just want this mod to be the best it can be.

Some questions about no-force no-lightsaber gameplay
PlacidSaint replied to Fins's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
Actually there might be a easier work around, you could start a game, save and exit out, open up Kotor save editor and change your PC's class to soldier, scout, scoundrel, or whatever you want to play through the game as. I don't know how that would go for the Kreia teaching sessions though.... -

We'll just got offered a job with another hospital full time so I guess, if anyone else wants to try and attempt to make this design then feel free as it doesn't look like I will be able to finish this project anytime soon. Thank you for the help posters in this forum provided. -
I'm new to all of this, and could use some help/guidance, please
PlacidSaint replied to chaosstorm88's topic in TSLRCM
Xuul's video's usually have both pathways to the Kotors override folder where your mods will go in his video's for both retail and steam versions, once you install the first few mods you'll have it the process down. -

I'm a subscriber to Xuul's youtube channel and his video's are where I got the best instructions on how and where to install mods. His videos also provide links to the mod he is showcasing and the videos are very well done if your new to installing mods for the Kotor games. -
I want to learn how to create lightsaber hilts . . .
PlacidSaint replied to PlacidSaint's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
We'll the good news is I've gotten Gmax and NWmax working, and I'm getting a little bit farther each time I try going back in and making the hilt using the old tutorial. I have to say that it is kind of a big learning curve if you're just starting out like I am but I'm trying to figure it out and it seems like it's coming along slowly as I have zero experience doing this and this is my first try at even attempting to make a model for a hilt. We'll see if I can pull this off...Still any advice, help, or tips are very much appreciated. -
I want to learn how to create lightsaber hilts . . .
PlacidSaint replied to PlacidSaint's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
Okay the wayback machinge worked, but I'm still having trouble getting the NWmax panel to show up in 3ds Max 2016. Again I'm a noob at this and this is my first project so any help on getting programs working and helpful tips for editing and modeling are much appreciated. -

Unfortunately it looks like that tutorial leads to a broken link. -
This one I have been wanting to create as my first project for Kotor 2, I could never start because of real life. I have Mdlops, Kotor tool, and 3ds max and want this to be my first project. I want the hilt to be customizable and would like advice on how to start and try to create this hilt as I have lots of time as I am recently unemployed at the moment and have lots of free time and need something to keep me busy. Any help veteran saber modders and creators can give would be appreciated. Thank you: PlacidSaint

Can you please do a showcase for "Coruscant - Jedi temple compatibility 1.1" on your youtube channel?
