The latest version of SLM came out in 2021 (for TSLRCM version 1.8.5/1.8.6, according to its description); I wouldn't call that particularly old. But that's neither here, nor there. Thank you for your answer. I suppose I could live without SLM for a playthrough or two. Thanks again!

So when this says it's not compatible with Schematic Lightsaber Mod, are we talking like, the game-breaking sort incompatible, or the "you're just not able to get a lightsaber" from her sort of incompatible? Because the latter of those, I can live with. Either way, thanks for making this mod! I loved the addition of Vash back into M4-78, but I never really enjoyed actually playing M4-78, so this is really great.

@Crazy34 and @Kaidon Jorn Super groovy answers from both of you. That is incredibly awesome. Thanks!

The ambient lighting is something I've been wanting for YEARS. Thank you for this amazing addition! Is it possible to use the blade models and textures without using any of the new crystals or saber hilts (for compatibility with SLM or something similar)? Thanks.

May I also have the mod? Thanks.

I've got an interesting bug that I've not encountered before, but it seems that some people have. When training Bao-Dur to become a jedi, the cutscene bugs out and creates a duplicate of my character that stands on the Ebon Hawk and doesn't seem to go away. If anyone knows the cause of this and/or how to solve it, I'd appreciate it greatly. Thanks. 1) When did the problem begin to occur? -While Training Bao-Dur to be a jedi, on the Ebon Hawk. 2) Did you install the latest version of the mod? -Yes 3) What version of the game do you have? (Steam, 4CD, KotOR Collection?) What region is the game designed for if it's the 4 CD version? - GOG Version 4) Did you update your game as required by your game's region? -Yes, though I believe the GOG version was already up-to-date. 5) Did you install this over the previous version(s), or did you perform a fresh installation as required by the TSLRCM's read-me file? -Fresh install of the game and mods. 😎 What other mods did you have installed? Please give an accurate list and provide links to each of these mods - even if they are found on this site. (We don't actually know them all!.) Behold, my mod list: 9) Can you be more specific about the error? At what point did it happen? -During Bao-Dur's training montage. It bugs out and doesn't even play the entire thing, I think. It skips the part that shows Bao-Dur with a lightsaber, and just blacks out after the hand-to-hand combat scene. After this, a message that reads "Bao-Dur is now a Jed i Guardian" appears, and the cutscene ends. After this, there is a duplicate of my player character in the room. It doesn't ever leave, and can't be interacted with, though it can be clicked on. 10) Have you tried re-downloading the mod? -Not yet. 11) Have you tried using a different save game? -Yes. I got the same result. 12) Have you tried starting a new game? -Not yet. That'd be a lot of progress to start over, so I'd like to solve this without it if possible. 13) What Operating System do you use? (List Virtual Machines as well if you are using them.) -Windows 7 Pro EDIT: Started tinkering around myself due to curiosity. I removed the file bao_train.ncs from override and tried again and it appears to have mostly worked. The cutscene still didn't play the entire thing (blacked out after the hand-to-hand combat and then flashed the message that Bao-Dur is now a Jedi Guardian), but it appears that Bao-Dur is properly trained as a Jedi, and there is no duplicate around (unless it is really well hidden). The file itself came from the patch for Jedi Journeyman Robes. Ironically, the patch was supposed to fix a glitch when training Bao-Dur. I'm not sure why it had a reverse effect for me, but I'm not complaining if it's working correctly.

Does anyone know the source of this visual effect?
DasRoteBaron replied to DasRoteBaron's topic in TSLRCM
I didn't get any prior screenshots; I was trying my best to ignore it while I was still on Peragus. I did notice it on the Paragus mining droids (both types, but it was more apparent on the larger droids), as well as few places on the floor/walls of the Harbinger. I can also see it in some areas of Telos (Citadel Station) on the floors/walls, but it's less noticeable. I was thinking it was Metallic surfaces, but it doesn't seem to affect all of them. T3-M4 looks fine, HK-50 looks fine, Kreia's lightsaber looked fine, and parts of walls/floors look fine. I didn't have CM_Baremetal.tpc, but the other two were present. I removed them from Override, and it seems to have reduced the shine/glossy effect a good bit. It's must less obnoxious now. Thanks! I am still curious what mod was causing the issue, or if it was perhaps a hardware issue (I heard that certain graphics cards can cause some textures to be transparent. Maybe this was something similar). Either way, I'm glad this helped. Thanks, guys. -

It's a fairly long list. I hope it's not too annoying to look at. I think this is all of it, but this isn't quite the order in which I installed it. I can't remember that exact order, It's been about a week or so since I installed it all. Sorry about that. Thanks for responding. Even if you can't figure out the source of the issue, I appreciate your response. -

So I'm having this issue in game where some of the textures, usually metal (which I believe should look shiny) looks very glossy. I understand that it is supposed to be shiny, but in my opinion, it looks glossy, almost as if it's wet. I'm not sure if this is a texture issue or a shader issue (or if it's something else altogether). Does anyone know what file is the source of this? I'd like to tone it down a bit if possible. If it's not possible, I'll probably try removing it from override and see how it without it. I'm using the GOG version of TSL, if that matters. I've attached screenshots to show an example of what I mean. It's most noticeable on droids. Thanks.

MOD:Fixed Hologram Models and Admiralty Redux for TSLRCM
DasRoteBaron replied to DarthParametric's topic in Mod Releases
....You know, I'm embarrassed to admit, but I never thought of this. The installer was many folders deep in a directory where I keep many mods for all sorts of games. After installing it from the dekstop, it worked with no issues. Thanks! Out of curiosity, do you know why the base mod installed just fine the first time, but the M4-78 EP patch did not? -

I thought about this, so Installed KOTOR 2 in (D:)/Star Wars - KOTOR2, and got the same result. It's the GOG version if that makes any difference. -

I'm trying to install the patch for M4-78 1.5 and I'm getting the following error message: Unhandled exception: Cannot create file "". The filename or extension is too long (0) I've never seen anything quite like this. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks. -
How does this differ from Shem's original version? Looks cool.

So I have run into an interesting bug with this one. The Jedi Holocron in the training room in the Academy on Dantooine looks like a dead wookiee. I can still interact with it as if it were a functioning holocron, and nothing appears to be broken as far as I can tell, so this is a fairly minor bug. Still, it is a little immersion-breaking. Does anyone know what's causing this and/or how to fix it? Thanks

I have some experience with voice acting and a lot of experience with acting in general, so I might be able to lend a hand if you need help with voice work.
