This modding toolset is a work in progress and I carry no responsibility to any damage done to your game files or lost work that may occur. Some antiviruses will flag a false positive and prevent you from opening the application. If this happens you will need to configure your antivirus to allow the program to run. Holocron Toolset is a collection of modding tools packaged in a single application aimed at streamlining modding development for KotOR/TSL, drawing inspiration from Kotor Tool and the NWN Aurora Toolset. There are editors available for nearly every file type used by the game. Also included with it is a 3D module editor and a "Map Builder" which the user can use to create new maps by rearranging existing models already used in the game. Discord for suggestions + bug reports: https://discord.com/invite/3ME278a9tQ If you are running Windows 7 or 8 and get a missing DLL error when opening the program you will need to download the Visual C++ Redist from Microsoft. Improves the AI of KotOR 1. Changes: - Companions and most other NPCs use blaster feats - Enemy forceusers now use Force Breach and Lightsaber Throw (previously the AI ignored these force powers completely) - Enemy forceusers now use force buffs more often (Force Speed, Force Armor ect...) - NPCs with the Force Jump feat actually do force jumps if they are further than 10m from the target - Enemys reactivate shields after 200s - Some minor bug fixes - Jedi Support AI reworked - NPCs use Master Rapid Shot or Master Flurry if available instead of the default attack - NPCs use the highest level of feats and force powers available to them - The AI now uses feats granted by items - Once the player reaches a high enough level, the Jedi Support AI no longer uses low level force buffs, because they became obsolete - Companions now heal every team member properly not just the one controlled by the player (injury check fix) - Companions now use all types of force buffs (Jedi Support AI: uses buffs that apply to the whole team, Other AI styles: use powers that only buff the caster) - Version 1.2.7 and higher supports plugins. List of supported plugins: - Repeating blaster attacks restoration 2.0 by R2-X2 - all of darthbdaman's mods

Original Review on Filefront: Our benevolent overlord returns with an interesting addition to the planet Korriban. Remember the Sith Academy? Of course you do; it was in both games. Well, it's only in the first Knights of the Old Republic game that you get to become a student of the academy, and more importantly (at least for this mod), meet other students. Currently, all of the students of the academy wear those uniforms that Sith officers wear. It's a little odd, because they're not supposed to be just normal Sith officers, but Dark Jedi. Even the two masters of the academy, Uthar Wyn and Yuthura Ban, wear regular uniforms. So Shem has decided to give all of the students Dark Jedi robes. It's a nice addition, I think, and it means you might get a few extra robes for your party, and a few other nice items. But I'll explain that later. In addition to having robes, some of the NPCs' appearances have been altered, to avoid repetition. Also, Master Uthar and his former master, Jorak Uln, each wear special armor. Now, as if that wasn't enough, there are a few surprises here and there. But if you haven't played the game yet, you might want to stop reading. The main objective for Korriban is to find the Star Map in the Tomb of Naga Sadow. To get to that tomb, you have to gain enough prestige to be chosen to take the final trials. As I alluded to above, you'll be able to take some those Dark Jedi robes from for yourself; that's because you'll have the opportunity to terminate hostilities with some of your competition before you enter the tomb, and again afterwards. There are several different endings for Korriban, depending on your choices in the Tomb of Naga Sadow. For best results (i.e. to get the most items) you should kill both Uthar and Yuthura. This will throw the Sith academy into a rebellion, and all of the students and teachers will become hostile. This is both a light side and dark side option, so you don't have to worry about that. But if you want some extra LS points, befriending Yuthura and helping her kill Uthar, then bringing her back to the light will get the same results, though you won't get any of Yuthura's items. OK, you can keep reading now if you stopped before. This mod utilizes the TSL patcher to make the necessary appearance.2da changes, and there is an extra file included that will make the mod compatible with T7nowehere's Weapons of the Old Republic, for those of you who have that mod. The mod is also compatible with Prime's Jedi Model mod, so no worries if you have that as well. Enjoy the new Sith academy! NOTE: Please leave comments or feedback for the author, especially if you download and use this mod; usually it's the only reward modders receive for their efforts. ~JC

Thematic The One Premise The One: warlord; conqueror; latent Force-Sensitive. A charismatic leader of the Rakata and a near-supernatural anomaly among their people. As an added bonus, he also dies in about two combat rounds! In fairness, with a good character build there’s very little that doesn’t go down in two rounds or less in the lategame. But The One in particular irks me—he’s presented as special, a natural leader in Revan’s own mold, a warrior-prince leading both armies and the political structure of his people. Yet despite having all the resources of the hundreds of islands he has conquered and dozens of crashed vessels he has looted, indeed despite having a Sith Tremor Sword in a bin literally RIGHT BEHIND HIM, he uses two regular vibroblades; despite being so charismatic he convinced his own former chieftain to willingly sacrifice himself and allow his tribe to cannibalize him while being so brick-headed he’s sat on a single island for half a decade, his WIS is 18 while his CHA is only 12; and despite being latently Force-Sensitive, his Will saves are abysmal. This was a ripe field for a Thematic project. Like my similar mod for KOTOR 2, Thematic The One’s goal is not to make the fight against The One actually challenging—this is not a difficulty mod. The fight will be slightly harder than in vanilla, yes, but for some builds this change will not even be noticeable; indeed, I took him out in two combat rounds just like normal. Instead, the goal is to present The One as the game insists he is: a charismatic warrior with vast resources and the—albeit unconscious—power of the Force behind him. Changes The One’s WIS and CHA stats have been nearly inverted, from 18/12 to 14/18; he has been given a Sith Tremor Sword in his main hand and an Echani Vibroblade in his off-hand (neither droppable); his Will saves have been bumped up to 15, to make him about as difficult as an average Dark Jedi to land Force abilities against; his alignment has been moved from Neutral to moderately DS, so that the Solari crystal will work against him; and, most significantly, he has been scripted to use Force Valor at the start of the fight with him. I felt this was important to represent exactly how close The One is to true Force Sensitivity, and how it’s clear that the Force has been supporting his meteoric rise from the start. Compatibility As is the objective with all Thematic-series mods, this mod should be compatible with every other mod out there. Even mods that edit The One should be compatible, as long as they edit his data in the module rather than with a direct .utc file drop to the override; at worst, such a mod would only replace some of my changes with its own. Permissions & Thanks As with any mod “I” have made or will make in the future, this mod has completely open permissions: modify it, redistribute it, reupload it, do whatever. So long as you give me credit for the idea and for the balance settings if you choose to retain most of mine, go for it. You don’t even need to ask me. Particular thanks to JCarter426, who made this entire mod at my request but then told me it would be funnier if I uploaded it like it was my own. Ok.

I have created a simple mod that adds the shadows for robes used in Robes With Shadows For TSL to your K1 game, for those using any of JC's robe mods that adds TSL-style cloaks. Having at least one of the mods listed below is a requirement for this one, and they must be installed beforehand. This is compatible with all included versions of the mods by JC, and any textures you are using with it. 1. JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Jedi Robes for K1: for those who want to use the more classic looking Jedi robes of TSL in their K1 game. 2. JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Hybrid Robes for K1: for a blend of the K1 and TSL style. 3. JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Party Robes for K1: for party member specific robes. Installation: First, install at least one of the mods listed above if you have not already. This mod is specifically for people using one of those mods. If you would like to create backups of that mod's original files, just create a copy of the files listed below, before installing the versions that come with this mod. To install this mod, download the 7z file and unzip anywhere on your computer. You can extract 7z files with native programs like Archive Utility on macOS, or with free programs like PeaZip on Windows and Linux. Once the files is unzipped, find the subfolder with the name corresponding to which JC mod you are using, and copy all files within to the override folder of your game, found in the same directory as your main game executable. For Steam installations, this would be "Steam\steamapps\common\swkotor\override". When prompted, overwrite the versions of the files currently in your override with the new versions. Uninstallation: Remove the files in the Included Files list below from your override. Which files you have can vary by which JC mod you are using. Included Files: -PFBIL.mdl -PFBIL.mdx -PFBIM.mdl -PFBIM.mdx -PFBIS.mdl -PFBIS.mdx -PMBIL.mdl -PMBIL.mdx -PMBIM.mdl -PMBIM.mdx -PMBIS.mdl -PMBIS.mdx -JC_BastilaBI.mdl -JC_BastilaBI.mdx -JC_JoleeBI.mdl -JC_JoleeBI.mdx -JC_JuhaniBI.mdl -JC_JuhaniBI.mdx Compatibility: Users should expect full compatibility with any other mods, so long as they do not modify/replace the above files. Texture mods do not typically pose compatibility issues for mods like this. This mod requires either JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Jedi Robes for K1, JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Hybrid Robes for K1, or JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Party Robes for K1 to be installed first. Acknowledgments: Big thanks to JCarter for his port of TSL robes to K1, and for giving the community permission to work with his models. The robes included here are just the ones from his mod with edited skeletons, so most of the work here was done for me. I also want to thank Symmetric, Purifier, Ndix UR, and seedhartha for making importing to Blender simple using KotORBlender, modeling work would be much tougher without you guys. I would like to thank Salk as well, for suggesting this mod. This modification is not supported by Bioware, Lucasarts, Disney or any licensers/sponsors thereof. Use of this modification is at your own risk and neither the aforementioned companies nor the author may be held responsible for any damages caused to your computer via this modification's usage.

Unfortunately this mod does not include K1CP's fix to GN_RespondToShout to prevent neutral creatures erroneously reacting to combat death shouts (e.g. here and here). This would be much more obvious if the author included the source, although it is apparent when comparing the bytecode of k_ai_master from both. @GearHead: I'd suggest you incorporate this fix in an update to your mod. And please include your script source for better compatibility going forwards.

This mod makes some minor changes to the forcefield in the Upper Shadowlands on Kashyyyk that gates access to the Lower Shadowlands. In the vanilla game, the forcefield is never actually disabled. Rather, the sound effect is simply turned off while the camera is pointed away from the forcefield, followed by an immediate area transition. It appears that Bioware did this due to issues with opening and closing doors via scripting. Additionally, there are no apparent controls for the forcefield, simply a frame and the field itself. The level model containing the forcefield has been edited to add a computer panel, fix a gap above the forcefield via some adjustments to the frame geometry, move some vines out of camera shot during dialogue, and prevent grass planes from spawning too close to the ramp and clipping through. The dialogue that occurs when interacting with the field has had some scripts injected to play animations implying that the forcefield is being switched off via the control panel. Jolee will now approach the control panel when the dialogue starts, and will face it when disabling the field. The field itself is now shown shutting down before the party transitions to the Lower Shadowlands. Additionally, there appears to have been an error in leaving out a script on one of the nodes that would stop Jolee from saying "You aren't going to ask about it?" even if you had actually asked about it, which has been fixed. Compatibility: The K1 Community Patch edits the Upper Shadowlands OnEnter script. Those changes are also incorporated into this mod. If you are using a mod that forcibly overwrites MOD files (like NPC Overhaul), make sure you install that mod first. This mod will patch a pre-existing kas_m24aa.mod in the Modules folder. Not compatible with any other mod that replaces the same level model (m24aa_09a). Not compatible with any other mod that puts kas24_force_01.dlg in the Override folder (although such a case should be fixable with a compatibility patch). Known Issues: In order to get the forcefield to close and function properly again after a level transition, it was necessary to resort to a hack function Bioware implemented for (presumably) the same issue they had with doors on the Yavin space station. In testing this has worked perfectly fine, however, the specifics of the hack are undocumented, so there may be edge cases I haven't encountered. If anyone experiences any issues with it, let me know. As you can see in the video, there's a subtitle error for one of Jolee's lines. Fixing it is better left to dedicated dialog.tlk overhaul. The mod doesn't touch the Lower Shadowlands module, so there's no active field or control panel on that side. Perhaps that could be an optional extra added in a future update. Acknowledgements: Thanks to @A Future Pilot for permission to distribute a modified version of K1CP's k_pkas24aa_enter.ncs Thanks to @JCarter426 for various scripting advice and troubleshooting, past and present Thanks to @LiliArch for correctly guessing that it wasn't just Bioware being lazy, which lead me to find Bioware's hack Thanks to @bead-v for MDLEdit and KOTORMax Thanks to @ndix UR for TGA2TPC The control panel textures include a mishmash of various textures from The Old Republic MMO The robes worn in the screenshots/video are from @JCarter426's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Jedi Robes for K1 Thanks to @ebmar for pointing out the lack of TSLPatcher.exe in the initial release

Shem's mod that gave Korriban students robes gave Uthar Bandon's armor with a custom skin that was red and black; it looks amazing in my opinion. Maybe you could do something similar? Does this mod make the Sith patrol officers inside the academy and in the valley of the Sith Lords into Sith soldiers (in armor)? I think this mod has some real promise since Shem's mod adds a bunch of stuff and makes a lot of changes to the students that aren't always justified. I think that you should really consider giving Uthar and also Jorak Bandon's armor (like Shem's mod), and also consider changing the Sith officer patrols into Sith soldiers.

DESCRIPTION This is the first entry in a new modding series I have been working on. Its objective is to gradually replace the Kotor games' alien models, which have particularly poorly aged. To this end, Master Vandar is the first alien to receive a high quality makeover. This mod replaces Master Vandar's 3D model with a new custom one, completely built from scratch using modern 3D asset creation techniques. As he appears as a hologram in the late game, his hologram model has been adapted as well, though with some constraints. Check out this thread if you'd like to know more about the development process and to get updates on the next entries of the High Quality Aliens modding series. COMPATIBILITY Since this is a replacer mod, it simply won't be compatible with any other mod that alters Master Vandar's appearance. @DarthParametric's Hologram mod and K1CP should be compatible. Just ensure to install my mod AFTER having installed K1CP or DP's mod first. KNOW ISSUES Due to technical constraints, some unavoidable and unpleasant artifacts will show up during the cutscenes using Vandar's hologram model. INSTALLATION To install, download hqa_vandar.zip and extract its contents somewhere convenient on your computer. Navigate to the extracted "HQA Vandar" folder and execute the TSLPatcher.exe. Let it do its magic but give it a hand if it can't find its way into your KOTOR game folder by its own. CREDITS bead-v: KOTORMAX and MDLEdit stoffe & Fair Strides: TSLPatcher seedhartha: KotorBlender PERMISSIONS Anyone is allowed to re-use the assets of this mod, including those contained in the modder's resources archive (see the final section below), in any way or form they would like for their own modding objectives. I only ask to be properly credited for the assets used. However, I explicitly forbid anyone to directly re-upload this mod or any of its contents to any other site than Deadlystream. SPECIAL THANKS to @Marius Fettfor their nerves of steel while helping me resolve seemingly never-ending technical issues with the hologram model. @DarthParametric for pinging me on Discord and thus kickstarting the Vandar project. MODDERS RESOURCES ARCHIVE IMPORTANT: Disregard this section if you're not interested in re-using my files to create your own mods. I'm uploading a separate ZIP file containing modding resources and grant anyone permission to use them in any way they would like. They include the weighted .ascii file to be imported in your preferred 3D software using KOTORMAX or KotorBlender, as well as the baked mesh maps that I used to create the model's texture. Do not hesitate to DM me on Deadlystream or on Discord should you need help using those files or if I omitted to include something that could be useful.

This mod is made for smart people who enjoy challenges, clearly not for you. Oh, and one more thing... stop... being... A SNOWFLAKE !!!
