Native widescreen support at the very least would be a welcome addition.

Well, my favorite Bugger sent me some comparison shots of the fixes she made, so I figured I'd post the pictures for you guys to see. Granted, she couldn't do pics of the optimizations of the Lower City spawning NPCS because of the nature of the fix. So, the seam with the Scoundrel's default clothes: The soaking tanks in Davik's Slave Quarters: The Pazaak Tourney ocean: Jagi's Journal:

Well, it's been awhile since we've updated... ZM and me fixed a few serious bugs with the Pazaak Tourney and ended up spending a week going back through it several times to fix any issues that slipped past our QA department. (Hmm... Guess who we hired for that job...) In addition, I've fixed all but one bug on Taris, for which I need FG's help. He also finished most of the Leviathan, save for one little piece of a cutscene that needs checking... So now that we've found some breathing room, ZM and me have been looking at the small things we can restore. That being said, ZM and me looked into and discussed how to deal with the Rough-Cut Upari Amulet, the infamous "Cut Wookie Amulet". The Developer Comments on the item say that it's from the injured Wookie, so ZM and me have agreed to make that the quest reward and put the Echani Vibroblade as a drop on the Mandalorian Leader, that way you get both items.

Well, what does the note say?

Why not leave the blade on the corpse of Mandalorian you kill to save the Wookiee you save? The Wookiee can give the rough cut.

I consider myself fairly good when it comes to Pazaak. Let me tell you though, you only need two of the three things you listed. There is absolutely no skill required from any player whatsoever in Pazaak. It's 70% luck that the game actually decides to give good cards to use, 20% reliance on the extra cards you buy yourself, and 10% on a focused mind to make sure you don't let valuable opportunities pass. Unless you can predict which card the game will draw next for you or your opponent, I don't see any skill in this game at all.

Okay, let's see... *Consults notes on messages to SH...* Okay, I've got it! I am sorry that you have chosen to be "that guy", but I feel even more sorry for those that have read and followed this thread up to this point. Many would think and emphasize that you are a troll and that I shouldn't waste my time on you. However, I'd like to take this opportunity to address several points you brought up in your comment. 1). We should have made an entire custom module, complete with Manaan's textures, sounds, and architecture just to house a peace of restored content? In all honesty, what is so wrong about re-using that specific module? 2). The Pazaak Tournament is a piece of cut content, and was actually mentioned in several different sections of the game's files. Thus, I can validate the reasoning behind restoring this piece. In addition, there are those who actually like playing Pazaak, so an entire tournament is seen as an early Christ- mas present to them... 3). That "big open space" that I so heartlessly stole from Manaan... For the record, I took great pains in sizing the Holo-Roster to fit that opening without leaking over. Also, the opening can't even be walked on, so it's not like I'm putting a big pile of rubble across a doorway or something. I'm just using empty space to help build the Tournament's atmosphere... About the Holo-Roster: I am strongly considering changing it to a dark-blue hue... Granted, the light-blue does look like crap in my opinion; that texture hasn't been changed since I made the thing, and is in fact a lot darker than the image suggests. It is as bright as it is because I used a txi filter (specifically the blending punchthrough) to create the proper transparency effect, as just editing the alpha layer would have ruined the texture as a whole. And one last thing, about that money comment: Think of this as a way to get enough money for all of those unique/named weapons and armor without cheating, thus giving a completionist a sense of accomplishment...

Will I ever play in the Pazask tournament? Probably not. I hate Pazaak - and this is coming from the guy that owns a physical real-life Pazaak deck. However, I love the inventive way that the cut content was restored. And . . . I'm not self-centered to think that every part of a large mod such as this should apply directly to me. (If you're offended by the last sentence, I've been successful.)

Gee, not being ungrateful at all, are you? No sodding respect for people pouring their free time, out of their own free will, without any paid incentive, to make the gaming experience better for everyone.

As moderator & K1R guy, I don't really mind, to be honest. In-forum roleplaying is a good thing in my books. In fact, my RP thread is on the forum somewhere...
