Vast improvement! Some of the Tatooine textures were hideous at such a low resolution! Now if only there were some extra content on Tatooine to give people an excuse to spend more time there, eh? 🤔😉

HD UI Menu Pack for Knights of the Old Republic v1.1 - 20180318 by ndix UR (DeadlyStream user) This modification adds high resolution UI menu textures. 2K is the base resolution. The content is redrawn vector art, no modified scale-ups here. It is focused on menu backgrounds, and includes some of the overlay components for the menus. Pure Vanilla (PV) Edition aims to provide the closest match to the original menu texture assets. This mod doesn't touch a lot of the 'extra' menu-like GUI elements yet, such as the galaxy screen, computer interfaces, pazaak, etc. It also doesn't mess with the main menu at all yet. Requirements You must be running menus at a high resolution for this to really work. At the default menu size, this mod will probably look bad. You must have KotOR High Resolution Menus or an equivalent mod installed for good results. Known Issues The original textures were for 640x480 menus. The 4x sized textures in this package would look best at 2560x1920, which nobody really uses. If your display is less than 2560px width, you may experience seams where different textures are intended to meet seamlessly. The game just isn't that good at scaling UI textures with alpha channels used for transparency. There's nothing I can really do about it. There are some sprites in the menu processes that haven't made it into the package yet. They may sometime. I've added x/y clamping to some textures that should have transparent edges over 3D backgrounds. It makes the transparent edges work well, but the diffuse edges work less well. It seems you can't have it both ways, and this is the trade off. Install / Uninstall To install, copy the files from the package Override/ folder to the Override/ folder for your KOTOR game installation. To uninstall, remove the TPC files for this package from your KOTOR game Override/ folder. This mod will add upscaled textures for the Tatooine part of the game. Except the skies, see note below. All textures are now 4x their original size. Example a 128x128 becomes 512x512, etc... I've not gone up to the 4096x4096 sizes as I don't see what that would add to this older game. A few textures do get to this size, example is the Ebon Hawk. Normal maps have also been redone, rerendered not just upscaled. It's still a 400% improvement on the older files. Have a peek at the screenshots and; Enjoy! Also try and spot the babies while on Tatooine. EDIT: Added a tiny zip with a missing wall texture! Sky textures are made by the awesome Kexikus get them here: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/723-high-quality-skyboxes-ii/ Qs_Tatooine_miss.7z

Just south west of the... euh, something cluster, tucked away in the corner. You might have to squint your eyes a little.

Where is this "Earth"? In the Unknown Regions?

Happy to oblige! Now what on earth are you babbling about 🤔

Can confirm Either is fine. I'm intending on making a few mods that will require this one to be downloaded first.

Oh I understand what you mean now. I'll have to take a two weeks hiatus from any modding activity but I will make sure to explore this possibility once I am back. Cheers!

For example, main reason why Canderous and Hk-47 can recover health and why Juhani can stealth without using a Stealth belt is due to they have an item hidden in their inventory. Go to Inventory then go to Natural items you can the armbands and hides in there.

The global variable determining the player's gender is 000_PLAYER_GENDER. The values are: GENDER_MALE = 0 GENDER_FEMALE = 1 GENDER_BOTH = 2 GENDER_OTHER = 3 GENDER_NONE = 4 However, the Handmaiden is not available as a party member for a female player. It sounds like you are using a mod that adds this option but does not add additional dialogue to refer to the player as female.

This is just a resource for other modders to use. I won't be expanding upon it. Sounds like a cool idea though, you should try and make it 🙂

Nice outfit... I see you updated Malak's belt? Don't remember it being that detailed. Hope you can edit Revan's curtain-pole ring skirt one day!

Protection against any physical damage protects against all three, as far as I recall. It would be worth testing whether that has to do with how the damage bitmask works, or whether that is hard-coded for those types. If it were the former, that would seem backwards to me. It would mean the more types of damage a weapon deals, the weaker it is, essentially.

Would you mind checking something really quickly? 1) Drop the sound files in this attached 7Z into your Override. 2) Find a save in which you haven't yet encountered the tach and only then, listen for them. Tach.7z
