    Version 1.0.0

    15,982 downloads

This mod replaces the 2D billboard holograms used in the Twisted Rancor Trio puzzle in the Taris Lower City Apartments with full 3D holograms, coloured blue like in the movies (and TSL). Also fixes some missing sound effects that were intended to play when activating each hologram. You may also be interested in my Movie-Style Rakatan Holograms and Movie-Style Holograms for Endgame Cutscenes mods. Changes: Replaces Bith 2D sprite with four separate animated 3D Bith models, each with a different instrument Replaces singer 2D sprite with animated 3D model (two different anims) with semi-custom texture to look like the original Adds emitter VFX Only switch emitter light on when activated instead of always on Repairs broken activation sound effects Known Issues: Because meshes do not self-occlude, there are some artefacts when viewing from certain angles. Requires a save before entering the Taris Lower City Apartments (East) for the first time due to GIT changes. Acknowledgements: Thanks to @bead-v for KOTORMax and MDLEdit Thanks to @ndix UR for TGA2TPC Thanks to @CarthOnasty for the original idea, which I shamelessly stole (I did wait 2 years though)

    Version 3.1.2

    84,112 downloads

This is the first part of an ongoing series. The purpose of this mod is to bring the much more up-to-date design choices from SWTOR to Kotor. All textures have been made from scratch; the big animated screen on the bridge comes with whooping 81 pics and 5k resolution for maximum quality. Update 2.0 brings brand new lighting to the ship, utilising warmer colors like in SWTOR, as well as new polished window frames & a new Planet retexture. Update 3.1 out now! It brings a lot of visual improvements over previous versions - new doors, animated consoles & more.... Video covering mod Showcase (Ver. 1.0) / Installation Process: Installation: Download the file, extract its contents with an archive extraction tool such as WinRAR or 7zip, and move the contents to your game's Override directory Compatibility: This mod uses cubemaps, so there could be minor incompatibilites with mods that uses custom cubemaps too. ( but i actually dont know any mod that does that) Just to be on the safe side, i recommend to install my mod last. Beside that it should be compatible with everything that doesnt retexture the Endar Spire or the Stars/ Planet Taris outside. Credits: I want to thank Darth Sapiens for his wonderful Cubemap-Ressource pack, which enabled me to do a lot of things that would otherwise been not possible. Also a big thanks goes to Xuul for making one of his fantastic videos for this mod. Enjoy!

Hey everyone, As per usual, I've failed to keep this blog updated. Truth be told, I don't have much enthusiasm for it as it doesn't seem to garner much traction and I much prefer to post regular updates over on the "Community" section of my YouTube channel. At any rate, Echoes of the Past is done, and will be premiering live on YouTube this Saturday (20th June) at 10pm BST/5pm EST/2pm PT/4pm CT/3pm MT. You can watch the livestream here if you are interested, I hope to see some of you there! I also now have a Discord server for my films, @Sith Holocronand @Mellowtron11 are already members of it so please feel free to join. This may be my last blog post (at least for a while) as I much prefer posting announcements in the server and interacting with people over there. Really excited to see this film go out, I've worked really hard on it and I think (hope?) you'll like it, too. Hope everyone is taking care in the current climate! ~ DV

All PC and Party member portraits in TGA format. Use as a base for your own portraits or whatever else you need them for. You don't need to credit me if you use this, but it would be appreciated. I recommend GIMP or Paint.net for editing TGA's.

I understand and just felt the need to clarify why that wouldn't work. ( maybe for some people it would ? ) but I don't see it myself. The name of your character would be possible to transfer across as it could be pulled from the save file. I believe the final love interest was not actually something we discussed though it seems so obvious now. As for same-sex that would make it rely on more mods but again it could be done. Having Revan have the same head as the player chosen head would also be possible. As for Revan being a companion or main character again, the only way that would fit into the story would be as a sequel. ( this is something I have actually considered for my Post-K2 project but is not something I will be working on until after my main two projects ) I struggled to read through your suggestions as they are all bunched together ( I do this myself sometimes but I try not to in Forums / open discussion ) but I have tried to answer them for you and hopefully some of these ideas might be useful for lachjames or anyone else that makes mods that rely on this project. Welp it's been a little over a year since I created this thread. Since then I built the LucasForums Archive Project to aid in my KotOR research. I thought I would share it here in case anyone is interested. It isn't anywhere near complete, but there is quite a lot included already. I may attempt to add more at some point in the future.

well, for the time being: TOCs by Darth333, Canderis, T7nowhere and tk102 from Holowan Labs/Lucasforums (via waybackmachine): General Tools & Tutorials: Modelling, Skinning/Texturing: Modding Tools (T3-M4's Astromech Droid Center) There's also a TOC in T3-M4's Astromech Droid Center listing all tools: https://web.archive.org/web/20150906172255/http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=152392 Most links will be dead anyway, but it gives a nice overview/ a place to start hunting them down. .2da Tutorials Scripting Tutorials That's at least better than navigating Lucasforums' archive by hand (esp. on mobile).
