Saber&Melee Weapon Sound Mod Author: DeadMan 1. What is this? This mod will change sounds of lightsabers and other melee weapons. Lightsaber sounds are replaced with more movie-like versions. The mod will not only replace ingame sounds, but also will add some variety. For example, all lightsaber types (normal, doublebladed and short) now have unique set of sounds (not only on/off and ‘hum’ sounds, but also swing, parry and hit sounds). Vibroblades, vibroswords, long swords, doublebladed swords and quarterstaffs also have updated soundsets. Vanilla game had only 2 (!) swing sounds for ALL melee weapons. With my mod it’s 3-4 unique sounds for a weapon type. 2. Why should I install it? Why not? 3. How to install? Just run TSL Patcher, it will do everything for you. 4. Compatibility. The mod is not compatible with other mods which alter saber sounds. 5. Credits. Shem – I used some sound files from his Ultimate Sound Mod. Conditions of Use: Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES ANY OF MY MODS TO BE UPLOADED TO STEAM WORKSHOP. Anything else - be my guest, use like you want, just give credit to me. -
Hi guys With KotOR 1 I've got add an existing Voice Over to a Placeable attached in its .dlg file (just a short phrase). The thing works but with a weird behaviour. The dialog text is launched on screen correctly but the sound just is listened depending the angle I'm facing the Placeable (or the panning). Most of times never is listened, other times starts to sound and in a half second suddenly cut. Other times (the less) I'm able to find a -very thin- correct facing angle and can be listened all the phrase (but with a bit lower level volume than would be normal). I don't know if I have to modify something about the camera options in the .dlg file with the DLG Editor, if there is another system for get voiced sound of a Placeable or what I can do. Any help? Thanks in advance

TSL Alignment Sound Effect Removal - version 1.0 By Rovan Description ———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— This mod removes the sound effects when you gain Dark Side and Light Side points. This mod also removes any potential “super-stingers”, such as when the Exile finds the Jedi with the Hurrikaine Crystal in TSLRCM. This was a mod created for personal use that I decided to release. Installation ———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— Put the following files into KoTOR 2’s Override: mus_s_darkshort.wav mus_s_darkside.wav mus_s_lightshort.wav mus_s_lightside.wav Uninstallation ———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— Remove the following files from the Override: mus_s_darkshort.wav mus_s_darkside.wav mus_s_lightshort.wav mus_s_lightside.wav Permissions ———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— Do not upload this mod to the Steam Workshop. If you use this in your own mod, credit would be greatly appreciated, but it won’t be the end of the world if no credit is given. Credits ———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— Audacity for existing, and PastramiX for making their TSL Music Improvement mod; without it, I wouldn’t be able to pinpoint which music file is which. Contact Information ———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— Add me on Steam at steamcommunity.com/id/rovan if you have any questions, comments, or concerns (NO PRIVATE PROFILES WILL BE ADDED). I can also be contacted on DeadlyStream.com, where I uploaded this mod.- 2 comments

If you ever wanted your lightsaber(s) to have more pizzazz to them, this might be what you're looking for. This replaces the on/off sounds for all lightsabers. The on sound is Luke's from Return of the Jedi, and the off sound is Vader's ignition sound from Revenge of the Sith and Rogue One, but reversed and trimmed down. Installation is super easy, just drop the files included into your override folder. There are no problems unless you have another mod that changes these files, and even then, nothing will break. This will work for either game, by the way. Demonstration: -

This is my first foray into sound editing, so please be gentle.. :' The story begins where I really hated the canned sound that the thunder makes when it's playing on Dxun. It may get the job done, but it just sounded so underwhelming to me. I went into a sound editor and added a few bass filters until, voila! I had a thunder not only loud, but with my subwoofer, of a great amount of impact. Anyway, after a quick tour of the Kotor 2 sound files, I found a few of the files that I felt needed an audio boost or overall change and changed them. Thus compends this semi-comprehensive collection of all of the sounds I've edited over the years. To Install: Just drop whichever files you like into your Override folder To Uninstall: Remove the files listed in the TSLPatchData folder from your Override folder Compatibility: This is compatible with any mod that doesn't have audio files with the same name Permissions: Please let me know if you are going to use these sound files in your mod Credit: Lucasarts for making Kotor and Kotor 2, Both Obsidian and Bioware for working on them, The Audacity sound editor team, and the constant support and assistance from the DeadlyStream community which has kept me modding, Also George Lucas who created Star Wars from the get-go -

I made this minimod in the shortest possible time while doing something else, because the annoyance at the lack of sounds when firing rockets struck the wrong (right?) nerve. I basically used the first appropriate sound files I found on the internet and also edited them superfast, so this mod is probably not the best it could ever be. Maybe I will put more effort into it if it still hits that nerve again. But it is a lot better now that sounds are present, so I'm sharing it with you guys. Description: This mod adds sounds to Mira's rocket launcher. It will now produce a sound when Mira fires a grenade, rocket or dart. Uninstallation: Remove the following files from your override folder: - bv_rocket.wav - bv_dart.wav - bv_launch.wav Credits: - bv_rocket is based on RPG Plus Shrapnel recorded by Mike Koenig. (http://soundbible.com/2075-RPG-Plus-Shrapnel.html) - bv_dart is based on Realistic Punch Sound recorded by Mark DiAngelo. Author: Kainzorus Prime Mod Name: Trailer Force Crush sound ************************* Under NO circumstances is this, or any of my other, mod(s) to be posted on ANY site other than by myself. ************************* 1. Info This mod replaces the bland common force casting sound that was used for Force Crush, with the sequence from the KotOR 2 trailer. The sound begins with usual cast sound, then shifts to choking an opponent, and ends with a forceful bone shattering. The sound is synchronized perfectly with player's casting animation, the choking playing when enemy is lifted of the ground, and crush itself when PC clenches their fist. 2. Installation: ========= Run the TSL Patcher and sit back, the installer will handle everything, including compatibility with other mods. 3. Usage ========= Get Force Crush power by any means you see fit, and listen to the lovely sound of your opponent groaning before their bones pleasantly shatter before your ears. 4. Credits: =========== Special thanks to: Holowan Laboratories - For all the great resources. 5. DISCLAIMER: =============== This Mod is not supported by LucasArts, Bioware or Obsidian.
