  1. You could always hunt down an adapter kit to make an xbox controller plug into a USB port, you know.
  2. I tried, even just renaming the Twilek dancers' script, but all the female PCs do is a pose similar to Handmaiden's combat stance. So, unless someone else wants to do it, I see no way it'll be done. Sorry. Thanks for the praise though. And don't tar and feather me, but I've never played Mass Effect.
  3. Probably meaningless, but could you also do this for the dancer outfit? Then, I might actually keep the skirt on the model.Thank you for the consideration, if any, that you give to my comment.
  4. I HAVE NEWS!!! I'll be one this computer every Sunday for a few hours, starting in a week or two.

  5. View File Dance, Dance, Dance! /*I say it is TSLRCM compatible, but it does edit the spells.2da, so if 1.8 does so, you might have to do some work.*/ FreeDancing, Step Right Upby Fair Strides Contact info: Fair Strides atdeadlystream.com Fair Strides 2at Lucasforums.com Introduction: This started outas a bad idea, but long story short, after spending five hours hassling mira'sdialogue, trying to make Mira and the PC(who was female) dance together. Itdidn't want to work at all, and I couldn't change the camera angles becauseTK102's dlgeditor couldn't edit the angles(to my knowledge, at least) and Iread that Kotor Tool will ruin TSL dialogue files. The item I am adding to thegame is a stimulant called 'Dancer'. It had to be a stimulant, since I couldn'tmake it a shield and I wasn't sure how to make use of the 'Activate item'property on an armband. Anyways, sorry for thelong intro. This mod lets you dance anytime you want, so long as you arefemale.(Can someone test this with a male, because I'm unsure if they have thedancer animations). You have the option of which dance animation you want to use, though I see no difference between the two. The animation will go on forever aslong as you don't move, talk, or do any action whatsoever. Installation: Just run the.exe to install the mod, and pick which animation you want to use. Touninstall, just copy and paste everything in the tslpatchdata folder into youroverride, and hit 'yes to all', then hit the delete key on your keyboard. Bugs: None. I managedto get it so that the item can work on two or more people at a time. Credits: My patience for makingme go on, and my self-restraint for not letting me punch through my computerscreen after five hours of dilogue editing that proved useless. Permissions: You have thegiven right to modify these files any way you wish, for personal or public use,but if for public use please contct me to let me know ahead of time and to seewhat's been changed. 6. Slight correction, guys. You can dance for 30 seconds at a time. And sorry for the typos, as well. It took me forever recently with a few scripts, because I learned that some scripts require that there be no semicolon after "void main()", which put my head in a loop. Farewell, until we meet again, friends.

  8. I now have no internet guys. I have mods backed up to release, but not with me. I will be gone for an undetermined amount of time, but I will be working on mods in the meantime. Sorry Malkior, but I hear you also have issues with your computer. I'll see you guys some day, just DON'T DELETE MY ACCOUNT!!!

    1. Mandalore

      Mandalore

Certainly. You are now working on the mod, therefore you have as much a say in the mod as myself or Fair Strides.

    2. Hassat Hunter

      Hassat Hunter

Why would we delete your account... the only reason why would be another failure of the auto-cleansing of spambots, like what nuked most accounts last time...

    3. Fair Strides

Then how about we keep that auto-cleansing program up-to-date and bug-free, yes? The idea sounds very appealing, given that I would appreciate being able to come back after, say two years, and finding my account intact. I'm not saying I'll be gone for two years, but I have no idea how long it'll be.

  9. Ah. Hindsight's 20/20 isn't it? Now it seems obvious. Thanks for the trivial knowledge, HH.
  10. Definitely a comprehensive list. Excellent job, HH!
  11. Hmm. Been on here and LF for 6 months now and I still have no idea what 'IIRC' means... Anyways, if the maker of the Dantooine Tension mod(sorry, I forget his name) links the module to the same textures for the skyboxes, then it'll be compatible. And if their mod is released before this mod, then I'll get permission from them to add their custom skyboxes to the mod. That oughta cover all the bases, right?
  12. I'll have to contact a scripter about this. I got no idea about globals, and I can't script this, so I'll ask around.
  13. Given that we're just messing with the textures, I see no reason why it should interfere.
  14. Well, that's a relief. We're working on it slowly, and I'll be going to a community Center as a school student, getting a course in Photoshop and 3DSMax in a month and a half.
  15. Hate to tell ya, but I beat ya to it. He posted the same thing at LF(which is back up now!). It was indeed the alpha channels. He was darkening the hair, and overlooked a detail somewhere, so the alpha channel was full-black on the eyelid. He disabled alpha channels when saving it, and everything worked.
  16. Well, 1.7s was awesome! Apart from not knowing about the fork in the quest about activating the HK-51s first(I did it anyway, but not knowing the consequences), the story really made sense. I can't wait to see how it's improved in 1.8! Though, admittedly, I still have to complete 1.7. I got close two times: 1.) I had the Handmaiden for Fem Exiles mod installed, so epic fail there. 2.) I was on Malachor and my comp crashed. :( So I still have to complete it.
  17. How did you get access to the info by Varsity Puppet?! I thought the server was down. And I still can't access it. Does IE work?
  18. According to Sith Holocron on Zybl's profile, the LF server is down. At first I thought it was a site backup, but it's been over 24 hours already.
  19. Or madness. Exactly! That's one of the core requirements of a good modder. 1.Determination 2.Madness 3.Lack of pride/stubborness to ask for help 4.Stubborness to keep going 5.More madness for when things don't work! Rinse, lather, and repeat. The average day of a modder-A dip in the pool of insanity.
  20. Really? Will that work for K1? And the thing that I can think might work would be to run a time or remember the last frame used, and load it. The texture would still reset, but not nearly as far back as the beginning. Thanks for the tip HH! I'm not sure if it's a room animation. It's just recoloring the skyboxes and then animating them with a .txi.
  21. Ouch! That really sucks, Kerk. How long were you two together?
  22. I don't know, I won't try. I hate IE. Every time my comp crashes, the first thing I get after installing my wireless adapter is Mozilla firefox.
  23. Well this thread's probably buried, but I'm wiping off the dust. Me and the modder known as Malkior on here have been working on this in the background. I formally apologize to Mandalore on here, though he's probably forgotten about this project anyways, but his services might or might not be needed. Me and Malkior have been experimenting with animated textures. Thanks to Malkior posting a thread or two about animated textures at Holowan Labs, Oldflash told us how to do it. Since then, we've been experimenting with it to some extent. We are using the same type of animation the game devs already implemented. An example of this can be seen using KT. In the Kotor 1 directory, go to ERFS-->Texture Packs-->texture pack a-->P-->PLC_holart2b and 3b. We have managed to put together a 3-frame sky of Dantooine in K1, as a test. The game goes from one frame to the next every three minutes. This is where we encountered an error that I am sure cannot be fixed, but Malkior thinks might be possible to fix with scripts. Every time you enter a module with the animated texture, the frame transition resets. This would obviously cause a stir, if for instance, it's night mode in the hangar on Dantooine and then it turns into day mode when you enter the Enclave Courtyard... I will be updating the Lucasforums thread when Lucasforums is available.
  24. Yay! First I hear that my favorite tv show, Code Lyoko, is getting a new season, and now this! And this is E, so even better. Now, I hope you guys wait for 1.8 to get done first, or you'll have to release an extra patch. But great job, nonetheless Edit: A sidenote:Any idea why Mozilla Firefox isn't finding the server for Lucasforums?.
