Me too! As to cliffhangers... Just think of when you have all of the episodes and can watch them all in a row! I did some research on the official site and other places, and there's 24 scheduled episodes, so it should be done by the middle of December. Also, if watching the episodes at swordartonlineepisodes.com, you can download 50mb videos from the MP4Upload player... Not sure about quality, but it looks good on 1024x768.

If you need any help with that at all VP, even for trouble-shooting/theorizing, you know my Skype. Also, as to the Player's Name thing, just put "" minus the quotes anywhere where you want the full name, "" for the the first half of the name(the game populates the token by separating at the first space in the name), and "" for the second half of the name(same treatment as first half, but opposite). I've successfully used each of these before, and the only parts to watch out for are that you encapsulate the text with and that you capitalize the first letter of each word, with no spacing in-between.

@Malkior: Handy tip: Complete Suulru's quest on Dantooine to get the Micro-Pulse Blaster, and then upgrade it with as high a level(Mark V, I think) of Ion-damaging components as possible, and a Mando pistol with just as good of components. On the console, I once had a Micro-Pulse Blaster that did around 48-65 damage, but it wasn't the ion one. It was freaking obscene, on the level of Force Crush when I use the pistol with Rapid Fire and Master Speed...

"Darth Bane: Path of Destruction" Novel
Fair Strides replied to Sith Holocron's topic in Knights of the Old Republic General
Well, I haven't read it, but I have read Revan's wiki article. In that book, Darth Bane uses Revan's teachings from the holocron(which was found/recorded in the Temple on the Unknown World [Lehon, if you prefer it that way]) to establish the Rule of Two. The appearance of Revan is the Darkside, post Mando-Wars Revan. -
I love your avatar! You know they're making a new season, yes? Want a link?

As promised, here is the bundle of files to convert a .TLK file to .TXT and back again, allowing for easy editing.

JRLEdit - The Graphica Journal Editor
Fair Strides replied to Fair Strides's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
This was reported to me a few times... I need to investigate it more, but I believe the issue might be one of the coding libraries I used. A few questions, if I may: 1. Do you have Windows XP, 7, or 8? 2. Do you have a process running in Task Manager called JRLEdit.exe? 3. Can you run it from a commandprompt and get any messages? 4. Lastly, do you have Skype? -
Can you contact me on Skype within 10-15 minutes? It'll be easiest when we can send files to each other.
-
Well, that's great! Guess what's better? Here's the TXT to TLK converter! Mind you, it will again have to be tested for compatibility with other languages...
-
I can understand the confusion, stumper; the two quests/mods are often bandied about in pairs, aren't they? The thing is, the HK-50s and Factory are part of TSLRCM, not M4-78EP. Were I a moderator, I would move the thread for you... Edit from Sith Holocron: . . . and . . . done!
-
Not sure what RTFM is, but try changing the Numeric in KSE(Savegame->Globals->Numerics) called 000_HK_50_Encounters to 3 and then enter the Ebon Hawk. If you're already in the Ebon Hawk, then go outside and immediately go back in. You should get a cutscene...
-
Well, unfortunately, I'm not sure how it will work with languages other than English. It'll need testing on that.
-
Well, I got some free time and decided to do the TLK->TXT program. I should have the TXT->TLK done within a day or two.
-
There is no tool for such at this time, but within a few days I can send you a tool that will convert the tlk to txt, with some formatting: Header: Language: Number of Strings: Then for each string: String : Flags: Sound: SoundLengeth: Text Present: Audio: Text: That would be the format I'd extract the TLK in, and I'd need it to be in that format to convert back to TLK. Also, I say that I'll send the TXT->TLK first because the TLK->TXT will be a bit more complicated to do and require more time. Also, given the specific use of the tool, it'll probably be a command-line/prompt tool, okay?

JRLEdit - The Graphica Journal Editor
Fair Strides replied to Fair Strides's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
Thanks! Though, I can't remember if "kandosii" means "good" or something else... -
Well, Stoffe was last on around 8 days ago, so I imagine she hasn't seen it yet... Also, when sending Private Messages, you can check a box to request a read receipt when the person has read the message...
-
So is this using Stoffe's mod as a base, or are you just taking the concepts of that mod into yours? If the first one, I'd contact Stoffe immediately at lucasforums.com and ask her for permission to do so. If the second one, then just be sure to not take any files from Stoffe's work without following the previous sentence. As to scripting, you might check in at Holowan Labs(google it) for some help. I'm a very good scripter, however I'm also busy with a project right now... Also, as to the decompiling scripts, you might try DeNCS, at starwarsknights.com, in the modding tools section.

Bugs and minor inconveniences with TSLRCM 1.8.4
Fair Strides replied to Hassat Hunter's topic in TSLRCM
Well, did you turn off Steam Auto-Updates? Iffy, but still important. -
Well, the xml files don't even need to be used, or saved as; that's just a handy fix for a future tool idea that never got made. As to the 2da file, did you click somewhere else in the file after editing a value? Otherwise, that value won't be saved with the file. Also, could you post the file for us to examine and try to find any issues that way?
-
I second this!

As to Controller Compatibility, you can use XPadder to have a connected PS3 or Xbox360 controller mimick keys on the keyboard.

Realistic Nar Shaddaa Skybox Mod - Loadscreens
Fair Strides replied to L0ki194's topic in Mod Releases
Just put them in the override folder, no changes, and you don't have to start a new game.
