  1. Gotcha. I think I might have to watch Episode IV and see it in action again.
  2. I believe that I saw it before I went to work the day you put it up. I may be talking out of my depth here but I'll blunder along . . . can that portion of the texture be yet another texture that just covers that area? If you could do that, that might allow you to have more frames on that animation and reduce the hit from the rest of the model. Again, I might not be phrasing this correctly but I hope you get what I'm saying.
  3. Have you figured how to resolve your issue with that red to blue animation circle that was present on the original R2-D2 prop?
  4. Read this post. Follow the instructions. Bug reports for TSLRCM require the format in the linked thread.
  5. Thanks FS for approving those new mods. (That's only one of the many reasons we love him here.)

  6. Hello again everyone. I'm looking for input on another project so let's just get down to it! At some point down the road, I think I'd like to do my own Let's Play video of a game. I'll probably do a game I know for my first one so that'll make it either KOTOR1 or KOTOR2. I figure having doing a blind playthrough as my first game might make the challenge too tough for me. (Why make it harder for myself?) If you have personally done Let's Plays, I'd like your tips and advice on how I could or should proceed. I'm looking for your advice and not just some list that I can Google for myself. The personal touch of having someone tell me what they've done themselves that's worked for them is key! (It also enables me to ask follow up questions as well.) Just so you're armed with knowledge, here's are the things I'll be working with. Microphone Blue Snowball Microphone (with a Ringer shock mount, stand, and a Pop Filter as well) Recording Software FRAPS (most current version, legally paid for so I needn't worry about a watermark) Video Production Program Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum (Version 13) Computer See here for part breakdown Remember: I'm mainly looking for your own tips gained from personal experience. Thanks for reading!
  7. Please provide more detail for this one . . . Are you referring to the M4-78 Enhancement Project? 1) If not, provide a link. 2) If so, where exactly did you acquire it, when was that, and what edition number is listed for the mod in the read-me?
  8. Take notes. It will assist you in the future and perhaps you can make a new tutorial as well.
  9. Finally time to play a new game. Just picked up from the Summer Sale: Fallout: New Vegas

Only thing I'd recommend for a first playthrough is maybe just a bug-fix here and there. Personally, I try to keep my first run of a game as vanilla as possible.

      Recommended bug fixes then, L0ki194?

Took a loot at the Nexus page, and I'd have to recommend "Yukichigai Unofficial Patch" or "YUP" for short. It's just strictly bug-fixes, and doesn't require anything extra, like the New Vegas Script Extender. Last update was fairly recently too, on June 16th.

  10. I'll have to take a look at it, jc2. Thanks! However, I don't consider this topic closed. If anyone else has alternate posts to make based on my original post, please do so!
  11. I do have Steam and yes, I do have codes so I can play KOTOR and TSL. (I just haven't redeemed them yet.) However, I've never modded on Steam using that Steam Workshop. Could I get some tips - for a complete newbie like myself - to help me along? The main thing I'd like to do by learning how to do this is I'd be able to help folks with basic modding questions. The ultimate goal: being able to help those using TSLRCM and M4-78 EP (both with and without using the Coruscant planet mod). As M4-78 EP on Steam is the newest version, please use that version in your explanations. Both text explanations and videos are welcome. Thank you in advance!
  12. For reference. K1 Heads K2 Heads
  13. Had to find a new site to host the picture of the filter settings. Damn you, Photobucket!
  14. Anyone have a free alternative to Photobucket? Can't use PB third=party links w/o a subscription and I'm unwilling to fork over more money for this hobby.

Moving pictures to IMGUR in the mean time. This process may take a few days so be patient with broken links of my posts and blogs.

Haven't tried yet to use it that way, but I wonder if google drive would work.

You could, but I would use Google Photos if using a Google service. You create an album and share the link. It's like having a video on YouTube that only individuals with the link can see. Except they can't see everything else in your photos.

That's just me however. I would assume you could do the same with Google Drive, I just haven't done it yet.

  15. Knowing how to do this in both games would be helpful.
  16. Kinda looks like something out of Logan's Run, doesn't it?
  17. Published a more light hearted blog whereI'm not asking anyone to do anything for me. (That happens on occasion.)

  18. I am an old man. I recall seeing this station work-project in one of my mother's magazines and feeling pangs of jealousy of those that had someone build it for them. Reading the original article describing this station and downloading the building instructions can be found here. I wonder if anyone on the site is handy enough to build it - as I certainly am not. There was a second time this magazine discussed play-sets but it wasn't as cool as this one was. (I can bring that one up folks are interested but links can be found through this I linked to above.)
  19. Do you play SWTOR and you're on the Jedi Covenant server? Perhaps I can take your picture in my Nar Shaddaa Stronghold! Drop a line or PM to set up a time that we're both free.

I really ought to actually start playing TOR sometime...

Use my link seen on my Profile Page? LOL (In the About Me section)

I really wish TOR would implement something like WOW has where you can purchase subscription time via tokens you can buy with in-game cash. I could put some of my millions to good use.

  20. His Atton is pretty well done too, IMHO. Yes, he does use my HK-47 Filter as described in this blog.
  21. Interesting. . . I won't ask which ones as that would be a pain in the neck to put together to show.
  22. Then I request textures for the untextured heads above.
  23. In another thread, this was brought up. A question: what needs to be done by a player to actually see and use the "buried heads" in TSL? I'm so glad I kept these pictures before LucasForums came down. (I believe they were originally DarthParametric's work!) Interestingly, the picture for PMHC05 seems to have a texture for it. I assume the untextured ones are amongst the "buried heads" - correct me if I'm wrong. Are any of the others with textures (besides PMHC05) also buried as well? Here's another question as long as I have your attention - shall I assume someone has retextured the untextured ones by now? Perhaps we should have a proper list all of these put up somewhere . . .
