Which is why I hope that whoever does impression for the character - I hope it's spot on. The trio also make an appearance in "ORD Mandell" mod. I mocked their appearance in my video which is what inspired this request in the first place. (The moment occurs around 15:04, in case you're curious.)

Everyone that's played through KotOR1 should remember these guys - the three Sith Lords that tell you "Lord Malak was most displeased when he learned you escaped Taris alive..." I'm not sure how many times in total you encounter these guys but what if - say on the third time you meet a new group of them - you could convince them to stop fighting walk away? Some possible options . . . - Be able to mock the character making the "Lord Malak was most displeased" by pointing out every set always say the same thing. "Did Malak tell you to say these lines, buddy?" (Might require a new voice actor to get the full effect but I think he have the folks here willing to take this on.) - That you've already put their friends in the ground so why give up their lives so easily? - Goad them into attack immediately - Other insults / and comical lines.

@Snigaroo : It still seems like that the upload is a violation Rule 1. You might have to rewrite the rule.

According to the mod pages on the Nexus, both Fenharel's Carth and T3-M4 skin mods come with portraits. And Fenharel hasn't even released a HK-47 skin yet. So . . . huh?

For the Download section: When looking through a particular user's mods, could you give the option to sort by how many downloads each mod has had? (I'd like to be able to glance and see what my top 5 mods from time to time.)

I thought there was a mod for that. @VarsityPuppet, didn't you make something like this before Malachor VI?

The other mod was not the Yavin IV mod . . . but that might be worth a look down the road.

I typed this as I waited for my video to upload to YouTube . . . Today, I ramble about . . . mod overview videos. After my recent video on the (now ancient) Lonna Vash mod, I decided to keep up my output by working on another mod overview video. I would strike while the irons were still red hot and reach into the archive for some forgotten work not available on Deadly Stream. This time it would be on the "Ord Mandell" mod by RedHawke. I'd use mods to freshen it up. I'd (attempt to) add my (disputed) trademark wit to it. I'd make (allegedly) hilarious comments on the numerous spelling and grammar errors. I'd toss off sarcastic asides on the reused maps. All would be joyous. After recording a bunch of footage, I realized that I hadn't checked out YouTube to see what other videos had already covered this topic. Not that another video would stop me from finishing - I was too far in to give up - but I did have to "scope out the competition." The first video I saw was a general overview. It wasn't bad but it wasn't going as deep. I was about to "x" out the tab for YouTube and then - I saw it. Off to the right of the screen, I saw another video - nay, 4 videos as it was a series. It beckoned me. It called out as if to say "You know you want to look." And then I did. Oh no. It was a good series. It covered the materials in ways I couldn't. For starters, it had the novelty of being on Android system, and I hadn't seen a mod covered that way before. Unlike my planned take, it covered the material not with a haughty disdain but actual unvarnished joy. It didn't rail against the errors but for what it brought to the table. And it was worth watching. So I'll just say this: go check out Negative Zero's "Ord Mandell" series. Part 0 is a modding tutorial to install the mod to Android devices but that's not your cuppa tea, start off with Episode 1 and see a modding / Let's Play video done right. TL;DR: This is a good video to watch. And this one . . . is mine. (Be kind . . . even if I wasn't.) P.S.: Negative Zero, where's a review of the Steam version of M4-78 EP? (As I don't think he's a member, maybe someone could ask him?) Post-P.S.: This is now also a thread on the KotOR Subreddit.

I stand corrected.

I haven't heard of any that do that but I suppose you could always change your character appearance with KSE. (It would take less time than downloading and installing mod.)

This blog post is actually for my own reference so I don't have to seek out which of the many posts I've mentioned it in. When folks mention their "big modding project" or their "huge overhaul" of either KotOR1 or KotOR2, here's what I used to quote... If you actually wish to see if a large scale project will make it to release, see if they follow this advice. If they don't, that project likely won't make it. You may use the above quote to remind folks when "the next big thing" rolls around.

I treat them as "dislikes" now. They are especially useful to apply to the impatient.
