  1. Raucous laughter would be an improvement over Solo.
  2. I think it might be a good idea for someone to create a KOTOR2 video tutorial for dealing with cutscenes resolution issues that includes this mod's videos.  Alternatively, Xuul could update his old video, of course.

      They're already done.

I downloaded them the hour they came out, but about half a day after he took them down to update them even further with the message I just posted.

That's not what I'm saying.  The NEW scenes are already done.

  3. @Hassat Hunter Didn't say I was excited, as I am getting dragged to the theater whether I want to or not. May as well keep spoiler free anyway.
  4. I'd rather not be spoiled on The Mandalorian or the next movie. I'd like to see the spoiler feature return as well.
  5. For someone that has only commented or reacted to things in this section, may I recommend the rest of the site? There are other things to see here... If folks do decide to take up where Logan23 left off, it won't be on your time table. So you may as well keep busy with other things.
  6. I think the locking mechanism would be wonderful on the numerous lockboxes we encounter throughout the game.
  7. It wouldn't be a reaction video if I drank some before the video. You would be seeing me drink it for the first time! And that first time would act as the "before picture." About world peace though? Coming from a guy that uses Sith Holocron as an avatar and screen name, that might be too much.
  8. I was in my local supermarket when I spotted this. This. This is a thing. Apparently the original price for a 12 packs of cans - according to the supermarket anyway - was over 20 bucks. (I'll provide a shot of it tomorrow when I return to that supermarket.) Apparently there are several different can pictures. (The Darth Maul cans apparently are all gone and who knows who else they stuck on these things.) The only cans left "feature" Kylo Ren. Now the going price is two 12 packs for 5 bucks. This must be rancid. So I did what anyone would do in this situation. I bought two of them! I was musing about this for most of the day: what to do with this potentially noxious substance. (Besides - duh - drink it.) But how to do it? I settled on the obvious - I must make a reaction video consuming this swill. But when should I release the video? Then it came to me. April 1st, 2020. I'll record a video drinking it on Monday and then record another video on March 31st, 2020 - drinking it again. The reason for the delay is so I can see a before and after of me. I'll be real with you folks - I've gained way too much weight since retiring from the military as of May 1st. Having a deadline to improve how I look (and feel) will prove helpful to making serious in-roads on efforts to curb my weight. Also, if this stuff is as rancid as I expect it to be - think of the extra hilarity of knowing I'll have drink this stuff twice. So . . . thoughts?
  9. Has anyone considered asking the developers on Twitter why the species change of Xor was made? I don't care if a change is made in the mod one way or the other but it does seems like an interesting question. Seeing as a few of you are motivated to make a change, having that definitive answer could possibly bolster (or hinder) your arguments.
  10. I believe I promised treasures?  Here are the two that I think you lot would enjoy the most.

    1. KotOR Campaign Guide

    2. The Virago (but best known around here as visually similar to Mandalore's Basilisk wardroid in KotOR2.)

    1. GNihilus2

      GNihilus2

thanks for the treasures. Agreed, about the Virago. Quite similar to Mandalore's Basilisk wardroid, just a more "winged" stylized model here.

P.S. thats one of the best TSL cutscenes for me btw (although there are many awesome scenes) when descending with the Basilisk to Onderon.

I am looking forward to the remaster of all of the TSL videos as seen recently on YT.

  11. Not seeing any before and after pictures on that page. If you've used it, perhaps you have some to share?
  12. I may have an announcement related to this post in December. Keep your eyes open then.
  13. One other thing . . . if you're a subscriber, you can test the new areas. Check out this article to find out how.
  14. Around midtown Manhattan this weekend are a swarm of people from various fandoms going to NY Comic Con and once again, Bioware was in the vicinity to promote SWTOR. Here's what that was like. The announcement said the event was to last between 7PM and 10 PM. The line started forming up outside the bar Stitch (said bar is in the Garment District) around 6PM. They stayed true to that 7 o'clock opening time so there was a bit of grumbling on the line complaining about being on their feet. Charles Boyd - the current Creative Director for SWTOR - was in costume and answering questions mostly to one guy at the head of the line monopolizing all of his attention. Being only the 7th person in line, I saw an opportunity to ask my own question when the other guy was pausing to take a breath. As I didn't hear any suggestions from you about possible questions to ask, I asked about the problems with loot not dropping in Star Fortresses missions. (Specifically, the Bracers aren't dropping from the Paladins in those missions like they used to be. Reportedly, this has been busted since the 4.2 update.) Charles Boyd hadn't a clue about it but luckily the nondescript person next to him - Eric Musco ( Community Manager for BioWare Austin and STAR WARS: The Old Republic) - did. He asked me to meet up with him later to give him the details. While we wait, other devs hand out swag tickets and 2 drink tickets apiece. 7PM rolls around and we're let in. My and wife (that I've dragged to this event) find some seats and wait for the show to begin. It wasn't until after my wife I ordered out first round of drinks and ordered nachos that we realized there was a buffet set up in the back. At least the drinks were good and the bartender was on point. They don't start up the discussion until about 8PM. Tehy devs - at this point are set up at the railing on the second floor and give out introductions, introduce two of the voice actors (more on that a bit) and some dribs and drabs of information about the next update called "Onslaught" Those that haven't seen this information about this YouTube on various channels on on the main site, I'll give you the briefest of summaries. - Onderon, Dxun, a return to Corellian, Mek-Sha (a new location of a lawless community set in a hollowed out asteroid) are the new places - Tau Idair, a Jedi we've been introduced to in the Ossus expansion apparently has a cyborg Jedi padawan named Arn Peralun. This character is voiced by Max Mittelman, who has voiced characters in Persona 5 and One Punch Man. I'm old so you guys probably have a better idea of those properties. Max Mittleman was there as well as - Darin De Paul will be continuing to voice General Daeruun in Onslaught but you probably know him better as the voice Emperor Valkorion. He too was there at the Cantina. - Theran Cedrax is coming back - Two other characters were mentioned that will be appearing in Onslaught but will not be coming back yet as your companions. Note that I'm not naming the characters. - No trailer was shown. They neither confirmed nor denied that a Blur trailer was made, only that they didn't have one there. Interesting distinction. They then started calling out the swag numbers in order and we would go up and get it as the sets of numbers were called. The devs and voice actors then came down and circulated among the rest of the atendees. I've been one of these before and it was set up a bit differently. No question and answer session set up as after their brief announcements, as we got to meet with these folks and get to do this one on one. There was no SWTOR cosplay contest for which I was grateful for. After I grabbed the swag - to be described later - I decided to get one of the items signed. Then I bumped into Eric Musco and he asked for the information I mentioned before which I saw him jot down into his phone. (Another guy was supposed to talk to him about Recovered Relics not dropping but I'm not sure if he ever got with Musco to talk about it.) Got his signature among all of the devs I could find at the event. I also got signatures from the voice actors. I got pictures with Musco and the VO guys as shown below. Now on to the swag . . . A shirt A set of three pins Some keyart (frame not included) And a code for some flair that we can share with you. Reedem the code "NYCANTINA19" to get some free flair. That was about it, folks!
  15. @chrispap: As English isn't your primary language, I've made an attempt to rephrase your original request so folks can understand. I've also placed this in the M4-78 EP section where it belongs. I recommend answering the following questions to help narrow down the problems. Include each question number in front of each answer so we can determine which answer is for which question.
  16. After I get home (still in NYC now) and after I wake up, I'll make my 101st blog about my SWTOR Cantina experience.  Until then, I  drink!

I am awake now . . . and sober.  I might wait a little before making that blog because I plan to frame one of the pieces of swag.  And it might just be a longer post in the SWTOR section here rather than a blog because more eyes will see it that way.

  17. Good to know. This may actually prove beneficial for recording purposes. Thanks for the research, @Ebony Moon and @HK-47!
  18. Do the protocol droid's eyes light up like HK-47's do when they talk in either K1 or TSL?
  19. ClassiCinematics has started on the K2 BIKs:

    1. N-DReW25

      N-DReW25

@Sith HolocronThe mod is not incompatible with TSLRCM, it can still be used with the RCM (Hence is why its on the Reddit Build) but as TSLRCM removed the Sion BIK scene and replaced it with the in-game scene this new scene won't be seen by 99% of people because 99% of people use TSLRCM these days.

The only scene players will see is the Harbinger arriving at Peragus.

    2. Snigaroo

      Snigaroo

I don't believe that's accurate. I tested with Kainzorus's mod after the first revisions of the mod build, so with TSLRCM's base handling of the sequence in mind, and it did have clear changes to the camera and ingame elements during the cutscene. I could be mistaken--I make stupid mistakes plenty--but if it's so in this case, I don't know how I wouldn't have caught that the sequences are the same.

It seems that the linked Sion's arrival uses higher res BIK movies, but splits them the same way TSLRCM does. So it is definitely compatible with TSLRCM and noticeable in game. He even says it's an expansion of my version of Sion's arrival in the description.

  20. Back on (the real) topic.of the K1 BIKs . . . Whoa! Make sure to offer your compliments to the video wiz in the Reddit thread.
  21. That was planned for Korriban Expansion update, IIRC.
  22. Playlist no longer embedded but now appears as a link above because perhaps I'll get some likes or comments on the video that way. Credit movie added. Details on that credit movie available on the video's description.
  23. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLp8KAABUx8FFwWqUVK3hTYuJ3419Y25CD I'll add in the credit movies if I either replay the game sometime in the future . . . or sooner if I can get some saves from kind folks willing to provide them. I skipped the original legal screen BIK that came with the game but I do have a version of the legal.BIK that was included with BOSSR. (Check that movie's description for more details.)
  24. Almost done but I have run into a snag... Anyone know the file name for the end credits BIK?
