  1. I see from your status update that your computer has been built. What's in your retro-machine, if I may be so bold?
  2. I guess I'll have to repost my post from another thread. Sheesh . . . darthbdaman, why revive this thread now - as it was dormant since february?
  3. Fixed your quotation. Regarding the actual sound file, I'll see what I can do with that.
  4. Nah, "No" usually means "That precisely two posts later, a post will mysteriously get deleted for a few hours." And also, "no."
  5. IIRC, VP said there are two things before Malachor VI will be continued on . . . 1) TSLRCM 1.8 has to be finished/released: As Malachor VI builds on what TSLRCM 1.8 will have in place, this is only natural. 2) He also needs Bead-V - his partner on Malachor VI - to be available to work it as well. I wouldn't expect any updates until those two things happen.
  6. I recommend you ask that in a PM.
  7. Can you back your position with either quotes from the game or the game makers though? Chris Avellone has responded to many interview requests many times over the years and I bet he'd answer the question if you put it out to him. Edit: I've decided to post a thread over at Obsidian to see if anyone that worked on the game had something to say. Let's see if I can lure some folks out.
  8. You didn't read the article carefully enough. He's still in charge. And recast all the main parts? All of the actors are way too old to perform them now. Unless they made digital copies of their own old selves - like they did for Jeff Bridges in Tron Legacy - it just wouldn't work that well IMHO.
  9. Phooey. I suppose I'll have to prove it with multiple quotes. Spoilers abound. Equating the Jedi to the Sith and vice versa:"To believe in an ideal is to be willing to betray it. It is something no Sith or Jedi truly learned"" She defines who she is: "Perhaps I am neither and I hold both as what they [the dark and light sides] are - pieces of a whole." No doubt about that. She uses it quite well and often but listen closely as to why she uses it. Again, spoilerific quotes to follow: In her early training to the PC:"Do not use the Force as a crutch. You have survived long enough without it. Do not use it to weaken you." On her own usage of the Force: "I use it as I would use a poison and in the hopes of understanding it, I will learn the way to kill it." The source of her real issues with the Force: "It is said the force has a will, it has a destiny for us all." "I wield it but it uses us all and that is abhorrent to me" "Because I hate the Force. I hate that it seems to have a will, that it would control us to achieve some measure of balance when countless lives are lost." "But in you. I see the potential to see the Force die - to turn away from its will and that is some thing that please me." Her goal is merely to gain control - always a big issue with her - over her own destiny by killing the Force. She cares nothing of the Sith or the Jedi as she's been exiled from both. She only wants to eliminate predestination.
  10. Kreia is neither dark nor light. She hates the Force, if you forget. . .
  11. http://www.algonet.se/~stoffe/CSArena4.zip

This comes direct from stoffe's own site.

  12. Larkin, check your comments for a link. Back on topic, folks!
  13. M4-78 EP is designed to work exclusively with TSLRCM 1.8. You probably shouldn't try it with 1.7 - but since the EP won't come out until after 1.8 is released that probably won;t be an issue.

  14. OK, I'll add it but since I'm at work, I can't get into the Filefront site. I want to credit the original author. Could someone confirm the author/creator was "Hangout Hermit"?
  15. As "pretty compatible" isn't "actually compatible," I won't be adding it to the list. Those that wish to use this mod with TSLRCM are hereby warned.
  16. Before I approve the Maintenance Officer - could you post a before and after picture of him with the mod?

  17. No release date has been announced for TSLRCM 1.8. The inevitable follow-up question - if history repeats itself - will likely be: Q) I hear a new version of the mod is coming out. Should I play the current version now or should I wait? This is one of our most popular questions. Some might try to answer this question using the whole pain versus pleasure principle. (Should I get the immediate satisfaction of playing the mod or wait for a newer version that corrects more bugs/issues.) Which is likely just rephrasing the question already have! Let’s put this mod into perspective though. The TSLRCM mod started as an open beta, which means the general public got to play it so the modding team could get input into creating newer and better versions. As you can see, the mod’s next version will be version 1.8 and that’s due to dedicated TSL fans like yourself. By waiting for the next release, you’re basically going against the whole idea of an open beta. That being said, you using the mod (and participating in the open beta) does not guarantee the modding team will continue working on a release after TSLRCM 1.8. Off-topic: Those harassing the Hassat Hunter (our singular TSLRCM 1.8 beta-tester) will have their posts edited and/or deleted. Just saying!
  18. Hey there! How are you classes and your Disciple Quest mod going?

  19. ZM90 would like to add Fallen Guardian access to his K1R Staff area, as FG is part of his K1R team. Just a heads up.

  20. From Entertainment Weekly . . . Discuss . . .
  21. Have you talked with - or attempted to talk with - disbeliever yet about his Sleheyron modules?

  22. Go to LucasForums tutorial section. See you when you've finished your mod!
