  1. Thanks for the information. Saved it to my Favorites so I can use it later on down the road.
  2. In the near future, I plan to play through using VP's Duplisaber mod. My question: I'd like to choose the sabers for the main characters - those that aren't the Exile or my party members. For example, that includes Sion, Nihilus, and all four of the Jedi Masters. How do I change which sabers they wield? Is it tough to do? Can someone walk me through an example so I can complete the rest on my own?
  3. Read this thread and report the information back in this one.
  4. I have been reading this thread. I have my own opinions about this topic but I don't own the site, so my point of view isn't pertinent. I'll follow Tyvokka's lead on this no matter what he decides. .And yes, I've already sent him a PM pointing out this thread to him so hopefully we'll see a response on this soon.
  5. I forgot to mention in my last post that one of SiC's preview shots just made it into my wallpaper screensaver.
  6. Nice job on the Telos stuff. I'm especially looking forward to seeing those cantina signs with some new animations. I do have a question about Telos Station - but while it's under attack later in the game. Recently there was a request for the following. . . Is there any chance you'll be able to do something about that?
  7. Better sound timing. Not crazy about the font but that's just nitpicking.
  8. 1) If it's only midichlorians keeping the vast majority of sentient life forms from being Force users, you'd think that they would be able to figure out how to make them. They already had cloning technology . . . 2) My main issue with midichlorians isn't an argument for religion. It's an argument of changing what was established as a philosophical (as opposed to religious)discussion and undermining with an explanation that isn't necessary. Besides the fancy tricks the heroes and villians can do with the Force (lighting, telekinesis, mind control, et cetera), the main role of the Force is to divide the heroes and villains by assigning them as either light and dark. Since midichlorians doesn't add anything to that aspect, what's the point? 3) Midichlorians as violation of the rule on Chekhov's Gun... Chekhov's gun is a dramatic principle that requires every element in a narrative be necessary and irreplaceable, and that everything else be removed. "If in the first act you have hung a pistol on the wall, then in the following one it should be fired. Otherwise don't put it there." Anton Chekhov If we removed all references to midichlorians from the movies, would any of the movies suffer? Nope. If the presence or absence of an explanation how the Force works isn't important to the story, then why bother to include it?
  9. I also agree that reinstating the dialogue for T3-M4 was unnecessary.
  10. If Hussef didn't have already have a unique restored head, I probably would have suggested it for him. That already happening however, I think it might make a possible good choice for Dessicus, the main bad guy that was supposed to be in the GenoHaradan cut subplot. Leaving the GenoHaradan aside, I'd like to have the head you two are mentioning available as a selectable choice for the PC - which I see as a totally separate mod from TSLRCM. (Redrob41 and Logan23, take note of that Saedhe head for inclusion in ROR as well!)
  11. Ghost99899: Please read this thread. Information for those posting errors / glitches Then in your next post in this thread, answer the questions listed in the thread I linked to. You might be asked to post a save game in the future but for now, just answer the questions. Thank you.
  12. Looking for voice files for a particular character from Diablo III. If you have the capability to do this, send me a PM. Thanks!

  13. I thought the punch (and the moan of pain in reaction to it) sounded delayed

    Requests

rjcx16, it is awesome that you're offering to hook folks up with mods! It might be easier for folks to contact you via PM - as this thread is more for suggestions for new mods to be created than old mods that aren't on this site. Another option for tracking down mods with dead/inaccessible links is to use this helpful thread at LucasForums. (Read the initial post for the rules on how to use the thread.) Edit: I'd like to request a two handed evil Kreia model - as should be seen in the Kreia's Fall video (as opposed what actually exists in the video.) Anyone up to that challenge?
  15. And you sir have given me an idea for something to put in the request thread. Thanks!
  16. Is the sound slightly off or might it be my phone lagging a bit?
  17. Canon and cannon are very often confused and used improperly. Although the two nouns are pronounced identically and spelled similarly, the only difference being one "n", these words have completely different meanings and should never be used interchangeably in writing. Cannon (noun): A mounted gun for firing heavy projectiles; a gun, howitzer, or mortar. A ship's cannon Example of word in use: Before Darth Vader and his accompanying fighters chased Luke Skywalker in the Death Star's trench, the turbolaser cannons stopped. A turbolaser cannon Canon (noun): The body of rules, principles, or standards accepted as axiomatic and universally binding in a field of study or art. The Chronicle of Narnia canon Example of word in use: Though the books are numbered, there is still debate over which Narnia book should be read first due to the series' internal chronology. So to review . . . Correct Usage: Women writers have been fighting to find their place within the male-dominated literary canon. Women writers have been fighting for their place in the male-dominated literary society with cannons. (Grammatically correct, but perhaps not factually correct.) Incorrect Usage: The guns are bad enough, but now the enemy has canons! If you try to put Admiral Thrawn in the new movie, you'll get smacked by Disney because they removed him from the cannon.
  18. Considering trying out (or returning to) SWTOR? You may as well go through my link and help get me some SWTOR referral points! http://www.swtor.com/r/Yt4Qdw

  19. Defreili, In short: yes. Why? It's because of a . . . Sith Holocron. Specifically, Darth Revan's Sith Holocron. However, some of the folks here would likely hate that scenario . . . which makes perfect sense. The folks that hate TOR treatment of Revan tend to lay the blame at the feet of Drew Karpyshyn because of the "Revan" book. Karpyshyn also wrote the the Bane books that include the Holocron. So let's look at it this way . . . even if Revan was a master strategist, and he did help kill Malak, and you assign the Exile's wins to Revan for getting rid of the Sith Triumvirate - well - he gave the instructions through that holocron on how to best organize the Sith Empire. So in a sense, he's attacked the Republic twice.
  20. I'd recommend checking out the TOR character screenshot thread for that sort of information. More on topic: Until we hear from an official source, this is all just conjecture and personal opinion.
  21. At least it gave me a new question to ask to narrowing down issues. (I've added it to the list, bringing it up to 13.)
  22. SL is probably TSL. Paralells is probably this Windows on Mac thing here.
