  1. View File Freedon Nadd's Tomb: Ritual and Water textures Out of all the amazing texture packs out there, I still haven't found one that covered the ritual sphere for Freedon Nadd's tomb. By default it is a very low quality texture, and in my opinion looks pretty ugly because of it. This texture replaces it for a looping image of clouds that emit from the center of the sphere and move upwards, there is thunder inside the clouds to match the electricity that constantly comes out of the ritual sphere. Another thing that has always bothered me is the water. Freedon Nadd's tomb default water texture does have an animated bump map, and reflections. However, I feel like the effect is ruined by an ugly, overly saturated, and static blue image, which feels completely out of place within Freedon Nadd's tomb. Other areas within TSL implemented water much better in my opinion, so I modified the water in the tomb to better match those. The new water animates and reflects properly. It just doesn't look like there is a static blue drawing of water in the middle of it. I've kept both in separate folders in case you only want to install one or the other. -To Install simply drag the contents of the folders you want into your Override folder. -To Uninstall, remove those files from your Override folder. The texture used on both these desks is used pretty ubiquitously throughout both Kotor games I wanted to make it look a little better. -To Install simply drag the contents of the folders you want into your Override folder. -To Uninstall, remove those files from your Override folder.

  4. Looks amazing! Any chance you'd be willing to share those textures?
  5. This was turned into a proper mod at one point:
  6. View File Existential Selkath's HK-47 Overhaul, TSL Patch THIS IS A PATCH, ORIGINAL MOD BY EXISTENTIAL SELKATH IS STILL REQUIRED The purpose of this mod is to provide a patch to finally be able to use Existential Selkath's excellent HK Overhaul mod in Kotor 2. I was hoping for Existential Selkath to release their own version of this but after seeing the following comment by them it seemed to me like they mostly gave up on doing so, thus I decided to release my own. This patch does not include any of the incredible texture work by Existential Selkath, it only patches the model to bring it to work within TSL. This patch also makes it so the model uses the new TSL animations and includes Marius Fett's HK-47 Disabled Animation Eye Fix Mod. A disabled HK-47 will have its eyes turned off. Original Mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/kotor/mods/1476?tab=files ------------------------------ Installation ------------------------------ Download Existential Selkath's original mod, and copy its contents to your TSL Override directory. Once that is done, run the TSL Patcher found with this mod. ------------------------------ Uninstallation ------------------------------ Copy the appearance.2da found in the backup directory back to override. Then delete the new p_hk47.mdl and p_hk47.mdx files. Submitter Nehua Submitted 04/14/2023 Category Mods TSLRCM Compatible Yes

  8. Icons should work fine.
  9. Ah, whops, you're absolutely right. My bad. Any idea of what to do in such cases? Take it down and reupload?
  10. Thanks for this. I was looking for something just like it not two days ago. Exited to try it out!
  11. View File Visas Dress Model Fix For a dress that by default can't be switched for something else, Visas' is surely a messy one when it comes to the way it wraps its front textures. It kept driving me crazy how it messed up all the textures I tried using on it, so I fixed it. This mod only modifies the models, so you should be able to use it with any texture as long as it also doesn't modify the models themselves. You can get Darth Sapien's amazing textures that I used on the thumbnail here. Submitter Nehua Submitted 06/16/2022 Category Skins K1R Compatible Yes
  12. Due to the issues with Aspyr and Steam, recently I decided to buy GoG's Kotor2 and port all my mods to it instead. So far everything has worked smoothly and for the most part I've gotten everything working the way I want to. One thing that keeps bugging me however is that the Color Space seems off. In fact, it looks exactly as I'd expect it to look if my screen wasn't applying the standard gamma sRGB correction to it. I've worked around it by using Re-Shade to do this for me, which does in fact make the game colors look correct again, but I can't shake the feeling that it is well, a work around, rather than a proper fix. I can't be the only one who has dealt with this. So, I was wondering if any of you peeps were aware of any proper solution to the issue that didn't involve having to run a third party software on top of your game (not that I wouldn't use Re-Shade anyways...)?

  14. Ah, that's good to know, still learning the ropes on how this game works. In that case it sounds like it should be fairly straight forward Natural Law. Use one of the two tools I mentioned to do a straight conversion, and then use a 2da editor to remove the texture entry, if there is one, for HK in appearance.2da.
  15. I did this for my own game. You can do this with either MDLOps, or the Kotor Blender extension for blender. I will warn you, however that because of the way that HK is implemented - with more than one texture file assigned to the entire model - the conversion process was not straight forward. While a straight conversion allowed me to get the model in game, it did not however work with it recognizing the multiple textures. Personally I opted for resizing the UV's and moving them all to a single texture, since things like a 4k map for just the head seemed overkill to me. There may be a simpler way of getting TSL to recognize all the single textures, however.
  16. Given the fact that I did not modify or touch the textures at all, I'd be very hesitant to add them here unless I got explicit consent from the original creator, or creators depending on whether you are talking about the creator of the models or the textures. I hadn't really thought about the extra blasters since I figured most would use the High Quality Blaster mod instead. I am well versed in 3D modeling and image editing however, and would be capable of creating extra models or textures for this in the style of its original mod. If they are not too many, I may consider adding those here as a future release.
  17. View File Weapons Model Overhaul Patch for TSL Weapon Model Overhaul Patch ------------------------------ The purpose of this mod is to provide a patch to finally be able to use Toasty Fresh's weapon models' mod in Kotor 2 and the excellent reskin by Fallen Guardian. When I first started diving into modding for Kotor 2 one of the first mods I stumbled across was Toasty Fresh's Weapons Model Overhaul mod (and Fallen Guardian's retexture of it), which provided what looked like some great high resolution version of the game's vanilla swords and vibroswords. Unfortunately, when I tried to add it to my TSL override folder, it immediately caused the game to crash. Now, after learning more about this game and its mods I was finally able to revisit it and patch it so that those models will work with TSL as well (thanks to PoopaPapaPalpatine for reminding me about it). While there is already an excellent blaster mod in the High Quality Blasters mod. Toasty Fresh's mod really does an excellent job of providing a high resolution version of the game's vanilla swords and vibroweapons, particularly when paired with Fallen Guardian's retexture. If you, like me want to use those weapons on your TSL game, this patch should allow you to do so. THIS MOD IS A PATCH, YOU STILL NEED THE ORIGINAL MOD TO GET THIS TO WORK. You can find the original mod here: https://www.nexusmods.com/kotor/mods/1096 I also personally recommend Fallen Guardian's retexture which can be found here: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/369-weapon-model-overhaul-texture-rework/ Since I mainly wanted the melee weapons out of this mod, I separated the swords and blasters into two separate folders for your convenience. ------------------------------ Installation ------------------------------ First start by installing Toasty Fresh's mod by dragging the files in it to your override folder. If you want Fallen Guardian's textures, install his mod next overwriting all relevant files. Finally move the files in this mod to your override folder overwriting any conflicts. ------------------------------ Uninstallation ------------------------------ Simply delete the contents of this mod from your override folder. 19. View File Vanilla Masks Overhaul Patch for TSL While heavily modifying my TSL play-through, I stumbled upon xander2077's excellent KOTOR 1 Vanilla Masks Overhaul Mod. Unfortunately, as can be seen by the comments in that mod, since it's meant for KOTOR 1, installing its mdl files into your TSL override directory, causes TSL to instantly crash. The comments in the mod recommended installing just the textures, however this missed out on some of the cooler features of some of the headgear like the Verpine Headband's visual interface. So, I went ahead and patched the models so that they would work for TLS instead. After playing with it for a while, I figured I may as well share this to the community. This is a patch and only contains the game models themselves patched for TSL, in order for you to get the mod to work you will still have to download the original mod. To reiterate: THIS MOD IS A PATCH AND IT STILL REQUIRES THE ORIGINAL MOD TO WORK. ------------------------------ Installation ------------------------------ After installing xander2077's mod by dragging the files in it to your override folder, move the files in this mod to your override folder overwriting any conflicts. ------------------------------ Uninstallation ------------------------------ Simply delete the contents of this file from your override folder.
