After playing and completing Star Wars: Bounty Hunter for the first time... no one told me how freaking hard this game is.

The Gamecube one? I remember back when I was at uni a friend of mine had a GC and we rented Bounty Hunter (back when there were still video stores and you could rent physical videos along with console games). We stayed up all night playing it from start to finish, taking it in turns to play through sections. And yeah, I think we had to do a lot of retries, lol.

I didn't even know it was on the Gamecube but I had a few friends who had it for the PS2. It was always the one good Star Wars games from the early aughts I never got around to playing, but it just came to Steam last year and I got it on sale. I remember not having too much trouble with Republic Commando or the two Jedi Knight games, but this was on another level lol. I spent way too long on the prison mission.

I thought it was a GC exclusive, but apparently it was originally on both PS2 and GC. I wasn't aware that Aspyr had released a port last year.

Finally watched the TRUE first Star Wars film: The Hidden Fortress by Akira Kurosawa. ;)

Is this your first step into the Kurosawa rabbit hole? Lots of other great films to add to the list if so.

Oh yes yes, and it has been an incredible journey. Throughout last week I also watched Seven Samurai, Rashomon, Ikiru, Throne of Blood, Yojimbo, and Sanjuro. Still on my list to watch are High and Low, Kagemusha, and Ran.

He very quickly became one of my favorite directors, right up there with Martin Scorsese, Andrei Tarkovsky, Paul Thomas Anderson and Ridley Scott (hell, I'll put Tarantino in there too). I'm blown away with just how consistent his material is and good his films looked, especially for the era. The cinematography is off the charts.

I'm really grateful I finally started watching his stuff.

We want to hurt no one. We're here for the bank's money, not your money. Your money is insured by the federal government, you're not gonna lose a dime. Think of your families, don't risk your life. Don't try and be a hero.

Is there an easy and/or convenient way to view what each placeable looks like?

    1. DarthParametric

      DarthParametric

Yes. Holocron Toolset has a 3D preview for placeables and creatures:

Happy birthday to Mass Effect 2. To this day it is still one of my favorite games after 13 years.🥰💕 I can't describe the magic I felt playing this for the first time; very few games have come close to matching it.

I own it. Some day I'll grab that steelbook, open it, and actually play it. I suppose I should finish the first one before that.

Hi everyone! I’m currently working on completing my MBA at Mississippi State and one of our final projects is consulting a client to solve a business problem. My team is tasked with consulting for MAGCOR Industries and we have prepared a short 5-10 minute survey to gather marketing data to help with the project. We would appreciate any and all feedback. Thank you!

Congratulations on getting this big project finished, and officially released it! Not gonna lie I was quite suprised because this project's on my radar among the few here, and being in doubt since I didn't see of its updates any recently. Against the odds you nailed it, bravo! 🍻

Excited to announce that I just got accepted to grad school! Not bad for a guy who almost flunked out  of college 3 years ago. It's really humbling; I'm truly grateful.

c_terantanak.mdl/mdx only exists in K1's files.

Just checked and you are right, the model and textures exist in K1 only though for some strange reason it has an appearance line at 353. Still lot of the K1 assets such as the Wraid still exist.

    4. DarthParametric

      DarthParametric

TSL's appearance.2da was just a modified K1 appearance.2da. They added and changed things as they needed rather than starting from scratch.
