  1. I have the Steam version, so yes, it'll still happen. You can use all those mods and many, many more with Steam.
  2. This is a periodical problem I have as well. I don't have a solid solution yet, but if you change the screen background quickly it will usually be a temporary fix. For example, if it's flickering ingame, tap escape to bring up the menu, wait a sec, close it and it should be fine for a while. I have no idea what causes this and I can't find anything on it. My best guess is it's a widescreen issue.
  3. ERFs<Modules<[module name]_DLG.mod You can't edit them in KotOR Tool though, you'll need a separate DLG Editor (it can be found in the downloads section of this site).
  4. Your Visas Unmasked mod. Does it come with an option to equip Visas' veil ingame? I love the look and I want to try it out, but I want to be able to put her veil back on.

      Oh, in case he never answered you. Yes it does, I downloaded it and was able to put it back on. It's explained in detail in the readme of it. But the simple version of it is that you have to cheat for it, if you are already past the point when she joins your crew. It's an equibable head item that can be added or removed at any time.

  9. Anyone who plays on the TOR Ebon Hawk server got anything they'd be willing to trade? Particularly interested in adding to my collection of ancient Sith pieces (Freedon Nadd, Ajunta Pall, Tulak Hord, Marka Ragnos, Naga Sadow).

  10. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'd be surprised if the function wasn't included in K1. I mean, it seems to me that this is an issue of the script never properly being triggered or not activating the right function, rather than the whole thing just completely missing. Could be wrong though. I haven't looked it at myself. So much is there for them though I'd be surprised if nothing was complete on the script end.
  11. All you would need to do is translate the script from TSL into K1 by recreating it and adjusting it to fit with the minor differences between scripting.

  14. Windows 10 pro. I just get the command line window. I was able to run it fine a few months ago, but I haven't run it since and now I just get the command line window.
  15. Thanks guys! I was planning to start work on the models tonight, but I can't get MDLOps working on my PC, so that puts a damper on progress. For anyone who might be able to help, I extracted the 7z file from this site and when I attempted to run the exe it just pulls up a command prompt-style window with the MDLOps label at the top and freezes up.
  16. 4K Atton is genuine 4K. 4096x4096 textures. Complete overkill. If I were to do a full texture overhaul I'd make it 2048x2048.
  17. Mdlops isn't working for me. When I run the exe, it just pulls up an empt command prompt with the Mdlops label at the top and does nothing. Any ide what I'm doing wrong?

      It came in 7z file, so I unpacked that to run it. I left it in my download folder, moved it to where I have my other KotOR programs, and tried Program Files. None worked.

  18. Good idea. People may just want the visual upgrade. And yeah, I always hated the NPC clothes. It always seemed to me like it was something rushed right before release or something. Yeah, I was planning on 2048x2048. Easy enough to do compared to 1024x1024 and probably the best it'll look in-game.
  19. They did fine with Ventress and Maul. I actually really like where they took both characters. Maul is getting a bit overplayed, but if they still have good stories to tell with him, I say go for it. I'm not a huge Rebels fan, but it hasn't done anything really offensive yet. It could this season, though. We'll see.
  20. So this started out as a relatively small project and quickly became something much larger. Originally, I had intended to create some new character-specific weapons and edit the character's utcs to have them join the party with said items. That quickly turned into balancing the weapons for use throughout the entire game (locking certain upgrades by requiring feats auto-unlocked as they progress). I wanted the character's original clothes to be the armor/robes for the character throughout the game so that they're comparable to the best other available armors throughout the game. I quickly noticed that the NPC clothing textures are arguably the worst textures in-game (worse than the blasters as you see them up close far more often) and that while the party member textures are better, they're still not great. I began modifying textures for Bastila and HK and quickly realized that to get the effect that I intended, I needed to modify the models as well. This is where things really began to get heady for me, as while I'm competent with Blender, I have little experience with 3ds Max and I'm only average at adjusting models (yes, I did downloaded KotOR Blender). So, in conclusion, here's the list of things this mod has come to encompass: -Remodeling (mostly just adjusting some features on the models and adding more complexity, especially with HK, but a higher poly count would be nice) the party member models -Retexturing the party member base outfits (along with creating some optional variants for some of the characters) -Creating a custom armor/robe, melee, and ranged weapon for each character (Implant in Zaalbar's case, and no ranged for Jedi and no melee for droids) -Modifying the utcs to better balance the character, adjust their stats and starting feats, and including their new weapons -Create new custom textures (possibly even models for 1 or 2 of them) for these new weapons -Possibly create a few new animations/edit existing ones to try and get a smoother effect (not sure if this will even work, or if it would, if it's really worth it, just an idea I had playing around with the models earlier) So truly, this has become a party member overhaul. I've got the weapons and utcs pretty much done, though they may need modifying after some play testing. I could use a hand with the textures and models though, if anyone's interested, or really just some advice on how to accomplish what I'm looking for.

  22. Can anyone tell me how to do this? I'm attempting to create some custom icons for custom weapons and armor, but I can't seem to find the icon textures in KotOR Tool to see how they're labeled. What's the file naming standard for icons?
  23. How do I create a custom equip-screen icon for a custom item? What's the file name format? (e.g. g_w_blstrrfl01 for the blaster rifle's models, and utis. How do I translate that into the icon texture?)

      SH, we've long maintained that people can post whatever they want in the status section, modding related or not.

      Revanator, you'll have to change that with the blaster's model number. Change the model number to a new one, and name your new icon file to match the new number. You'll also have to extract the .mdl and .mdx for the blaster rifle it's based on and renumber them too.
