Yes, that'll be one of the optional add-ons I'm making for my pack to Work with other mods like BoS:SR, Green Dantooine or Joraks textures.

http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/Realistic_Nar_Shaddaa_Skybox;88468 And I'm glad you like it^^ And sorry about your jaw L0ki194

The Taris skybox is basically ready. A big thanks to Quanon who went through all the trouble and created three sets of Tarisian buildings for me to use And here's what it looks like in lower resolution and with some minor fixes missing. Let me know if there's anything I should change and I'll do that before I start making the high resolution version. And keep in mind that this one is created with Joraks Taris reskin in mind, I'll recolor it a bit for the vanilla release.
-
So, you're going to release your SWTOR retexture project planet by planet? That's cool And Taris looks awesome, different and it might take a while to get used to it but it looks great.
-
We were discussing it, so the answer is probably yes. But the textures I'll make for this mod will have a lower resolution than the ones I make for my own mod (simply because it'd be way too much work to make 24 skyboxes per planet in 2048 the way I'm making them).

File Name: Malaks Unique Apprentices File Submitter: Kexikus File Submitted: 28 Jun 2015 File Category: Mods K1R Compatible: Yes Have you ever chosen the dark side in K1 and wondered why Malaks best apprentices who try to kill you in order to get the Darth title looked exactly like the countless number of generic Sith apprentices you killed before, just with a different color? If you did and did not like this, then this mod is for you. It gives those three apprentices a (more or less) unique appearance and unique names. Compabilitiy: This mod should be compatible with pretty much anything, unless it modifies the utc files of the three apprentices or the full dark side head texture of twilek_m02, N_GendarH or N_TatComW_F in heads.2da. Credits: Mod by Kexikus TSL Patcher by stoffe THIS MOD IS NOT SUPPORTED BY LUCASARTS OR BIOWARE. USE THIS FILE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Right, I remember those issues. And now I'm considering to expand this mod to fix all of those journal issues. It'll probably take a while until I actually do that but I'll start by gathering information. So, are there any more issues of that kind where quests are no longer completeable but stay in the journal?
-
I'd love to help you but I have no experience with 3d modeling at all^^ One thing: Didn't he release all models as game ready variants? Or are those only some of the several variants he made?
-
#@#@%#Q!@#!@# Korriban quests? Btw: This mod should be fully K1R compatible. I haven't tested it yet but as far as I know, none of the quests I modified were modified by K1R and there shouldn't be any files used by both mods either. So it should work perfectly.

My Projects In the Pipeline (mostly texture related)
Kexikus replied to Malkior's topic in Work In Progress
That looks much better already with the higher resolution. About the trees: In that case I'd also go with mountains as you did^^ And the clouds are really just trial and error :/ This wiki article has some good comparison pics to help understanding what each setting in the cloud layer does but in the end you'll still have to try until you get what you want. http://planetside.co.uk/wiki/index.php?title=Cloud_Layer_v2 -
My Projects In the Pipeline (mostly texture related)
Kexikus replied to Malkior's topic in Work In Progress
I like the terrain and the clouds. The resolution is indeed a bit low and there seem to be some seams where the lighting wasn't rendered exactly the same for different camera angles but the landscape and the general feeling of the skybox is great. One thing I'd do however is lower the horizon a bit. Right now the perspective looks wrong, especially in the first screenshot. To do so I'd just stretch the texture a bit for a lower horizon. That worked wonders on some of my skyboxes^^ Some other thing I'd consider is adding trees to the valleys. That's obviously a design choice but I think it could give some more life to the skybox and IIRC there are some forests on Onderon in the comics (and in TCW). -
Oh right, it's in the options menu... I always mix it up with Disable Vertex Buffer Objects which is in the .ini file^^
-
Sounds a bit as if you disabled Frame Buffer Effects for some reason (or atleast bug 2 and 3 sound that way). Open swkotor2.ini and check if there is a "Disable Frame Buffer Effect=1" line (maybe without the spaces) and if there is, set it to 0 and see if it worked.

It's not exactly restored content (not at all actually^^) and when I asked if something like this was planned for K1R a while back I got no reply, so I decided to simply make a standalone mod myself. But I wouldn't mind if this were included in K1R. Actually it would even be quite cool to have contributed something to this mod and I wouldn't have to worry about compability anymore, as I originally intended to make a K1R compability version once K1R 1.0 is out if it's necessary. @ K1R Team: So yeah, if you want to include this mod, feel free to do so or let me know if you'd need a modified version

File Name: Proper Manaan Quest Endings File Submitter: Kexikus File Submitted: 14 Jun 2015 File Category: Mods About: If you've ever played the dark path on Manaan without finishing all side quests before you might have noticed that while you can no longer complete them, they stay in your journal forever. This mod fixes that and ends them properly. Installation: Run ManQuestInstaller.exe and let TSL Patcher do its magic. It should find your KotOR installation automatically. If it doesn't and you have to select it manually, choose the folder that includes swkotor.exe. Do NOT delete the backup folder that is created during the installation, you might need it if you ever want to uninstall this mod. Uninstallation: (Read the whole instructions text before doing anything.) Delete man_questend.ncs, man26_nilko.dlg, man26_pcexile.dlg and man26_shaelas.dlg from your Override folder. Those steps are enough to make sure, the mod is basically uninstalled. But if you want to get rid of it completely you'll also have to replace global.jrl in the Override folder and dialog.tlk in the swkotor root folder with the ones in the backup folder created during this mods installation. If global.jrl does not exist in your backup folder, simply delete the one in your Override folder. Be cautious however: If you installed another mod after this one, that alters one of those two files, replacing them might screw up this mod too! Compabilitiy: The only incompabilities I can think of are with mods that alter one of the dlg files this mod uses. View File Bendak Bounty Rework and Emblem Armor Compability Patch This mod allows you to use the "Bendak Bounty Rework" mod by Ulic and the "Bendak Starkiller Emblem Armor" by redrob41 simultaneously, without any compromises. Vanilla coloured Dantooine is now done I'm getting there, not many skyboxes left.

Awesome. Can't wait to play it once version 1.0 is out
-
I'll try that, thanks for the tip

First, the crashes during startup can be fixed by deleting or renaming (I highly recommend the latter) biologo.bik, leclogo.bik and legal.bik in the "movies" folder in the main KotOR directory. That might not even be necessary after the second fix but it makes the game start faster, so I'd still do that^^ Now to the crashes when leaving a planet. I assume that the game minimizes when watching prerendered cutscenes and you can't maximize it, as that's quite a common issue I think. If that's not the case, you can still try the following but I don't think it'll work as it's a fix for cutscene crash issues. What you have to do is rightclick swkotor.exe in the main KotOR folder, select "Properties" and go to the "Compability" tab. There you'll have to check "Disable visual themes", "Disable desktop compositions" and "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings". Doing that disables some Windows designs while playing but fixed all of my issues with cutscenes. I don't know if you actually have to check all three of those or if one is enough, but I was too lazy to test it^^ If that does not work, you can try and disable cutscenes somewhere in the ingame options menu. That'd really suck though as they enhance the story quite a bit but you could always watch them on youtube if everything else fails. Edit: Seems like Fair Strides was faster^^ But I'd still recommend trying what I described above before disabling the movies completely.

File Name: Yuthura Sith Eyes with Light Side Transition File Submitter: Kexikus File Submitted: 05 Jun 2015 File Category: Skins This mod replaces Yuthura Ban's head texture to give her Sith eyes as seen in the Star Wars movies. But if you manage to turn her back to the light and meet her again later she'll have her original eye colour again. Installation: Run YuthuraInstaller.exe and let TSL Patcher do its magic. It should find your KotOR installation automatically. If it doesn't and you have to select it manually, choose the folder that includes swkotor.exe. Do NOT delete the backup folder that is created during the installation, you'll need it if you ever want to uninstall this mod. Uninstallation: Delete N_UthuraH.tga, N_UthuraH_Light.tga and dan13_yuthura.utc from your Override folder. Then copy heads.2da from this mods backup folder and place it inside your Override folder, replacing the one already there. If there is no heads.2da in your backup folder, you can simply delete heads.2da from your Override folder (unless you installed other mods editing this file afterwards). Compabilitiy: This mod is obviously incompatible with any mod that alters Yuthuras head texture, you can however replace my version with another one if you like it better. It is also incompatible with any mod that alters Yuthuras .utc file on Dantooine and with any mod that alters her dark side transition skin in heads.2da. I made it that way - this way meaning that I made Yuthura a dark side character on Dantooine and giving her a light side skin while she's dark - because that way it was possible to leave her Korriban .utcs untouched and since it's more common to have them modded that's probably a good idea. And it doesn't matter if the game thinks she's on the dark side on Dantooine anyway. Credits: Mod by Kexikus TSL Patcher by stoffe THIS MOD IS NOT SUPPORTED BY LUCASARTS OR BIOWARE.
