Using Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1 (yes with the spaces) on the Aspyr version of the game causes crashes in certain modules. This mod disables normal/bumpmaps in all world models that had them enabled. World bumpmaps seem to not even be working in the Aspyr update, so there should be no visual difference. This was the biggest problem on G0T0's Yacht, which had constant crashing. -

A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 1.0.0 Release Date: 14.11.2024 Installation: Simply click on the HoloPatcher.exe, click install and sit back and watch the HoloPatcher do its magic. Description: In the first Kotor game, the Korriban Sith Academy had two inaccessible rooms that were locked behind static doors (meaning you can't interact with them). Throughout the Kotor games, there are many static doors that lead nowhere. These doors exist to imply that the levels are bigger than what they actually are... you just don't get to see the full area. If you were to use mods to open these statics doors, in most cases you will find that there is no room behind these doors as the developers didn't intend for those doors to be opened, the same is true for the Sith Academy's two hidden rooms. In the second Kotor game, you revisit Korriban and get to see the areas you travelled through five years after the first game. Obsidian added two new rooms behind the previously inaccessible doors that led nowhere in the first game, a Library and a Teacher's Dormitory. For over 15 years, player's have known that a Library and Teacher's Dormitory canonically existed behind the static doors of the Sith Academy in the first game but couldn't do anything about it... until now. At the end of 2024, the modder Thor110 ported the Library and Teacher's Dormitory from the second game to the first and released it as a modder's resource. And using this modder's resource, I have made the Complete Sith Academy mod for K1. The Library and the Teacher's Dormitory from the second game has been populated with objects and NPCs to make these areas "fit in" with the visual aesthetics and the environment of the first game. The NPC Tamlen has been moved into the Library whilst the Sith Teacher with Tamlen has also been moved to the Teacher's Dormitory, the dueling Sith Students and the Sith Teacher overseeing them have also been moved to the room outside the Academy to prevent a bug where you can hear the clashing of Lightsabers from inside the Library if they kept in their original location. Sith Students have been added to the Library who study on the computers there, making them inaccessible to the player, and Sith Students have also been added to the Teacher's Dormitory alongside the Sith Teacher already in there. The Footlockers you find in the second game CANNOT be opened, but I have added new Footlockers and other objects you can open to the Teacher's Dormitory alongside a Workbench. You can expect to leave the Korriban Academy with some rare, albeit weak, items you wouldn't have received otherwise. There are no custom made NPCs or side quests added in this mod, I wanted the new rooms to "fit in" with the rest of the game. I know other modders DO intend to make mods that adds the new Academy rooms like this mod, except their mods will have some form of side quest content. If they do develop and release these mods then those mods will probably be incompatible with this mod - when that time comes, you may have to choose between their mod & this mod. Known Bugs: If you click on the Sith Students on the computers too much, they stop doing their "typing" animations. This mod shouldn't have any bugs but if you find any please report them to me on Deadlystream. Incompatibilities: To be added! Permissions: Please speak with me if you wish to use this mod in your mod. Alternatively, you can download Thor110's modder's resource and use Holocron Toolset to add your own placeables to the module thus bypassing needing to use my mod as a base. Thanks to: Thor110: For making the amazing Sith Academy Missing Rooms modder's resource to begin with, without you this mod wouldn't exist! Obsidian Entertainment: For adding these new rooms to the second game! Bioware: For such an amazing game! Fred Tetra: For Kotor Tool! th3w1zard1: For HoloPatcher and the Holocron Toolset! Everyone who downloads the mod! Legal: THIS MODIFICATION IS NOT SUPPORTED BY BIOWARE/OBSIDIAN ENTERTAINMENT, LUCASARTS, DISNEY OR ANY LICENSERS/SPONSORS OF THE MENTIONED COMPANIES. 1 pointAs I specified above, I was referring to the Extended Enclave compatibility patch that was included in my Handmaiden/Disciple romance mod (which is this mod), NOT the standalone EE compatibility patch in the mod build. My FAQ article for my same-gender romance mods has also stated that if you use my Handmaiden/Disciple romance mod with the KotOR Community Portal's mod build, you should not use the standalone compatibility patch in the mod build. The standalone EE patch was made specifically for players who do not use this Handmaiden/Disciple romance mod. In fact, the download page of my standalone EE patch has also explicitly stated: The Handmaiden/Disciple romance mod version of the EE patch needed to add the PartySwap compatible option because not everyone who uses my Handmaiden/Disicple romance mod uses PartySwap.

1 pointRevision 11 (the last update) of The KotOR Community Portal's mod builds did not change anything about the installation of PartySwap, Extended Enclave and their compatibility patch, so you should still follow my previous instructions about the installation order. You still need to do #5 to run the installer of the Extended Enclave compatibility patch included in my Handmaiden/Disciple romance mod again and select and install the "PartySwap Compatible" option, because it is necessary to patch the changes made by PartySwap specifically.

Just the files needed to access the three Sleheyron Arenas that are contained within the kotor 1 files. They aren't perfect, the walkmeshes are a little off and this results in the player getting stuck at points. The crowd is also non-existent. This won't work without the Sleheyron Demo by SithSpectre : https://deadlystream.com/files/file/391-sleheyron-demo/ Because it needs the following files which are included in the Sleheyron Demo. m31aa_00l.mdl m31aa_00l.mdx The .wok file isn't necessary. NOTE : This is a modders resource and isn't intended for use by non-modders, all it does is add three empty levels for the Sleheyron Arenas that can only be accessed via the warp command. Thor110 -
1 pointThe dialog.tlk suggested the Vulkar main level would've been different, these alternate changes might be added to the main RC-K1CP mod whilst the sublevel is an optional installation. The computer in the main hall was supposed to be inside the small room the Vulkar Coward is guarding and the Lieutenants wouldn't be carrying the pass cards, those would instead be found inside a footlocker inside the barracks. If I change the Vulkar main level to be more like the cut content, this will give you a few options of getting into the garage level. 1) Fight your way through the Vulkar hoard to reach the footlocker with the pass cards. 2) The player uses stealth to get the pass card from the footlocker without alerting the Vulkar hoard. 3) Use the computer to overload the power conductor in the barracks to eliminate the Vulkar hoard without a fight. 4) Use the computer to disable the turrets, thus bypassing the barracks. I also plan to do one of two things, either increase the amount of spikes needed to overload the power conductor so that it's as expensive as disabling the turrets (So both will cost something ridiculous like 10), or I'd swap the prices around so that disabling the turrets is really cheap whilst overloading the power conductor is the more expensive option. For the actual sublevel itself, I plan on making the level completely optional. You will be able to get the mechanic ID card from the junkie through the Spice quest, you will be able to find the mechanic ID card the old man locked in the locker room, or you can overload the heat system to disable the turrets. You can still do any of the previously 4 mentioned options on the first level allowing you to completely ignore the sublevel if you'd prefer, this should hopefully prevent a K1R situation where players ended up getting trapped in the sublevel as it going through it was the only way down to the garage level.

1 pointHey! These cutscenes are awesome. I also ran into a similar issue with the 3440x1440 60fps cutscenes when getting the game going on Linux. With some cutscenes everything is fine (the alt legal.bik works) but some of them have issues, 01a is a good example. I poked into VLC to see what was up and noticed that the vertical resolution is slightly off. I vaguely remember there being issues back in the day when the hexedited value for a larger cutscene resolution didn't match what was being played and the behaviour I saw is similar to that See the video and buffer resolution in the 60fps movie file: Comparing this to the same movie in 30fps version: The reason that the alt legal movie works is that it has the correct resolution: So unfortunately it looks like the 60fps videos need to be trimmed by a tad 😅
