It's been a long time since I've made a WIP thread here on Deadlystream, usually I just make a mod in private and (if it is finished) I release it. This WIP thread isn't about a single mod, however. The release of my latest mod, Diverse Galaxy, marks the beginning of my NPC Overhaul series. The NPC Overhaul series shall be multiple mods which 'Overhaul' many of the NPCs within Kotor 1 (with the possibility of K2 versions of these mods being made at a later date). Kotor has a reputation of having a sort of 'clone' effect where you'll see the same set of generic heads in close proximity to each other in-game. the Diverse Galaxy mod will swap the appearances of over 150 NPCs to ensure that you'll encounter more variety in the game, this mod only changes the NPC's heads and will not affect the Lite NPCs. As the K1 Community Patch is REQUIRED for this mod to work the Lite NPC's will be upgraded by the K1CP mod anyway. As this is a series, more mods are planned to be made which do similar things for the game's NPCs, however, I am at a lost as to how the first few mods should be made. I wanted to release these mods separately so that users can install what they want, but I also have the option of simply adding these first few mods directly into the Diverse Galaxy mod as part of updates. The mod ideas are as follows: * Diverse Galaxy: Will diversify the heads and appearances of Kotor's NPCs. RELEASED! * Fashion of the Old Republic: Will diversify the clothing of Kotor's NPCs and will apply lore-friendly armor when applicable (This armor does not drop) RELEASED! * Lite of my Life: Will convert the generic NPCs who use the Lite appearances into standard generic NPCs, will use the heads, appearances and clothing style as DG and FotOR meaning this mod would be installed 3rd alongside them both. RELEASED! These mods will all use vanilla assets and won't really 'add' anything to the game other than swapping out appearances/clothing in the .MOD files, this would make it easy for me to add these 3 mods into one mod. I'm thinking of having 3 separate TSLPatcher installations with one being Diverse Galaxy, the other being Fashion of the Old Republic and 3rd being Lite of my Life. Feel free to leave your opinions and suggestions!

Have you ever wondered why there is a bunch of retextures for every teammate but Hanharr? Even NPCs who are not even part of your party, like atris and sion, have a lot of new texture projects dedicated to them... So why not poor Hanharr? Yes, he is one of the least popular party members, but there are even textures for GOTO, so this can't be the reason alone. The main reason is all that hair, in my honest opinion. It is really a pain in the (swears in Huttish). I couldn't let poor Hanharr sit between all those shiny HD textures looking like he was pulled straight out of an Commodore 64. Frankly, his texture was bad from the beginning, even for 2004 standards. So I remade it. I put a lot of work in this and I hope you like it. Because there is such an abundance of skins for other characters I felt like 1 texture for Hanharr wouldn't do. So I made 2. Version 1 (With Scar) features a scar on his stomach, to show in what condition he is and what he's been through. (Screenshot for reference) Version 2 (Without Scar) just doesn't have that scar If you don't want to have blood and similar content in your game, this Version is for you. Installation: Move the P_Hanharr.dds from the "with scar" or "without scar" folder into your override folder Credits: CGTextures (now just "Textures"): www.textures.com This Eye texture ressource: http://xoriu.deviantart.com/art/MMD-Naturae-Eye-Texture-249285720 and Biowares TGA to DDS converter, here from deadlystream.

A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic II The Sith Lords Author: N-DReW25 Release Date: 19.03.2017 Release Date 1.1: 7.09.2017 Installation: Double Click the TSLPatcher.exe and let it do its magic Uninstallation: Remove or Delete all the files with the "e_imp1_01.uti" all the way to "e_imp4_10.uti" (There are at least 30 of those so they aren't listed here) When the TSLPatcher installs the mod correctly it generates a backups folder within the Implant Feat Restoration folder that contains the TSLPatcher. Open the backups folder and copy the "baseitems.2da" and "feat.2da" to the override folder overriding the Implant Feat Restoration files If you have any problems be sure to contact me for support Description: Kotor 2 is known for a ton of cut content. The TSLRCM restores most of that content but there were some they left behind due to it being not restorable or not necessary. However if you have sharp eyes you might notice the Implant Feat is unavailable. This is likely intentional by Obsidian as the Implants in game require a certain level of constitution in order to use them. This is all well and good until you realize you will have to abandon other stats completely for constitution in order to get good implants. This mod changes it so that you now require a certain implant feat to wear certain implants. There are three tiers of implants so 3 to 5 level ups should be enough to get max implants whereas before you'd need at least 6 to 11 to get max implants Currently, only Hanhar and Mira have the feats. If you want your main character to have the feats you must give it to them on the level up screen (Since you cannot play as a scout you cannot get implants for free) Also, ALL implants will require this new feat instead of the constitution. This means there is a low chance of an NPC having no implant since it doesn't have the new feat and cannot use it's implant. This is mostly a good thing as it will make the enemy slightly easier Known Bugs: this mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream. Incompatibilities: The TSLPatcher will make it compatible with nearly any mod...but if you do find an incompatible mod please alert me so I can put it in the readme Incompatible with Sireyn's Kotor 2 Implant Rebalance Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use it in your own mods without my permission Thanks: Bioware for such an amazing game, Stoffee for TSLPatcher, Fred Tetra for Kotor Tool, Fair Strides for helping me get the Feat to appear on the character creation screen and everyone who downloads the mod. This mod changes the appearances of the Jedi that appear on the Star Forge, since the majority of them are clones. Now every Jedi has a unique appearance, including the addition of some extra alien races with models taken from TOR. Installation: Run INSTALL.exe. It is recommended that you use this mod in conjunction with my Diversified Jedi Captives on the Star Forge mod, since this mod doesn’t alter the appearances of the captives on Deck 4. The use of my Dark Jedi Wear Robes mod is also recommended. It is also highly recommended that you use the K1 Community Patch, which makes a number of small edits to the Star Forge cutscenes (amongst a whole host of other fixes). Just be sure to install that first. Warning: This mod requires that at least one of the following mods be installed in order to function: JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Jedi Robes for K1 JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Hybrid Robes for K1 JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Party Robes for K1 This is non-negotiable! JC’s added TSL supermodels from one of those mods must be present for the models in this mod to work. To Do List: The two Jedi that Malak toys with when you first encounter him at the end of Deck 3 are being choked, but don't have any SFX for it. I may add in some SFX for those at some point in the future, possibly in conjunction with/derived from a K1CP update. Credits/Acknowledgements: Thanks to @JCarter426 for the cloaked robes modder's resource. Thanks to @bead-v for KOTORMax and MDLEdit. Thanks to @ndix UR for TGA2TPC. Thanks to @Darth_Sapiens for the Cubemap Pack modder's resource. Nautolan, Kel Dor, and Rodian head models ported from The Old Republic MMO. Thanks to zaramot on the Xentax forums for the TOR GR2 Max import script.

The archive contains 2 textures: the texture of the woman's form and the shape of the man. The resolution of the textures is 2048X2048. This resolution allows you to carefully draw each piece of equipment. Attention was paid to everything: rivets, buckles, shadows, cloth, chevrons. Enjoy.

I just noticed that the Community Patch adds a lightmap file in TPC format -- which would take precedence over your tga (I'm 99% sure that's how it works). 104pera_lm0 So I removed that tpc and also added a txi for your tga version of it (just in case, but I'm not sure if its needed) -- the same txi I extracted from the community patch's TPC file: ALSO, the community patch adds 104pera .mdl and .mtx files to my override. I think it'll be fine for me to continue using those files.

I like this mod. I thought the same about empty chairs when I first played TSL. I watched it in-game, the scene became better. I also noticed a few things: 1. The camera mainly uses either shots from long distance or close-ups of main council members (Vrook & Co) that prevents taking a good look at the additional masters. Only rare shots from a medium distance allow to see in detail jedi on the left and right of speaker. 2. Added jedi-statists give off a feeling like they unconcerned about the meeting (or aren't allowed to talk). I understand that they play no role in the story, and you probably didn't want to add anything that may break the impression of such important moment, but still it turned out to be a little weird to me. I think both issues can be solved, while only slightly affecting the scene: Have a council member with an alien VO say one short neutral line, for example, "Is anyone want to add something?" and then zoom in camera on every added jedi-statist for a second when they stay silent, blink or shake their head (if they have such an animation). Vandar can use some very short one-liner like "Hmm...". The scene can then continue as usual. I hope you 'll address these issues to make the scene even more immersive if you decide to release v3.0 of this mod.

Original Review on Filefront: "With St. Patricks Day around the corner in two days, its nice to have a mod that reflects the green Irish holiday that is held annually on March 17. Now, I know some of you around the world who visit this site may not know about the green holiday if thats the case, just know its a holiday where you traditionally wear green and get drunk. Inyri Forge brings us something to celebrate the spirit of the holiday by making a nice St. Patricks Day hat to wear while either searching for the Star Forge in the first Knights of the Old Republic game or tracking down the Jedi Masters in Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. I realize some of you who have some modding knowledge about how models work in both Knights of the Old Republic could be thrown off by what Im going to tell you about this mod. Inyri made one set of models that can work in both Knights of the Old Republic games. At first I thought she forgot one of the games model files and tested it out to see which one was missing and I saw that they worked in both games. Usually if one set of model files goes with one game, using it in the other game would cause your game to crash once you equip the item. So dont be alarmed if you notice it having one set of model files. You do get a persuade and charisma bonus of +4 when wearing the hat. May I suggest a green armor or robe to go with this new addition? Who knows, maybe for Easter Inyri will make Easter Bunny ears to wear. Enjoy the mod! Note: Please leave the author feedback, especially if you download this mod and use it. It really helps encourage the author to make more mods in the future. -Shem"

Mod works great. Just one thing, are Sentinels supposed to get the first feat upon character creation or another level? For some reason it isn't happening for me. They can select Implants I, but don't get it when I create the character.
