This modding toolset is a work in progress and I carry no responsibility to any damage done to your game files or lost work that may occur. Some antiviruses will flag a false positive and prevent you from opening the application. If this happens you will need to configure your antivirus to allow the program to run. Holocron Toolset is a collection of modding tools packaged in a single application aimed at streamlining modding development for KotOR/TSL, drawing inspiration from Kotor Tool and the NWN Aurora Toolset. There are editors available for nearly every file type used by the game. Also included with it is a 3D module editor and a "Map Builder" which the user can use to create new maps by rearranging existing models already used in the game. Discord for suggestions + bug reports: https://discord.com/invite/3ME278a9tQ If you are running Windows 7 or 8 and get a missing DLL error when opening the program you will need to download the Visual C++ Redist from Microsoft. This mod intends to address key issues with male Twi'lek heads in KOTOR II, most notably the addition of ear geometry. The main improvements are the addition of ears and slimming down on the Bib Fortuna necks. Other tweaks include better smoothing groups, fixed teeth and eyelids, and recolored tongues. The ears were created using modified assets ported from SWTOR. There's two options for installation. Option A uses the slim necks, while Option B retains the original necks. I highly recommend the first option as it fixes clipping with collars on heavy armor and it's the main choice for other mods which use my files. Given the frequency of Twi'lek NPCs, this mod's a nice visual improvement that adds a much-needed element of consistency with other humanoid head models in the game. The KOTOR I version can be found here. Installation & Uninstallation To install this mod, run Installer.exe, select the option(s) you want, and proceed with the installation. To uninstall this mod, run the installer again, select the same option(s), and click Tools -> Uninstall Mod / Restore Backup. Compatibility & Known Issues This mod isn't compatible with any retextures of male Twi'lek heads unless that mod states otherwise. There's no known compatibility issues with any other mods. I've given permission for this mod to be included in a few other projects. Be sure to check the descriptions of those mods to see if you need to install this first. This mod changes the visual effects for all the laser blasts in the game. Energy blasters, ion blasters, disruptors, bowcasters - I've replaced them all. Except sonic, because really, sonic? In general, I've added more detail and made them match what's depicted on film as best as I could, when there was a visual reference. I took screenshots of the movies and got out my eyedropper tool and everything. The cores of the lasers are brighter so they look more like lasers, instead of having the whole thing as one flat color. I also messed around with light objects so each laser will illuminate surrounding objects in the appropriate color. For disruptors, I've included three color options: white, green, and yellow. The default install is white, like the original, and the other two are included as optional things.

First WIP clip of the mod so far This is a very raw WIP progress update clip, but I wanted to be able to show people more clearly what I was working on, so I figurd I'd share the clip anyway Progress update: I've gotten even further with the Dantoine section, and now mostly only need to "clean up" various things. All voice has been done, and only a single splice project, some minor written dialogue corrections. and that one voice reference correction, should be needed now (for the time being at least). The choices you make in the Dialogue with Master Seelah, determines whether you push Mission's alignment further to the light side, or over to the dark side At the conclusion of the dialogue, you'll have given Mission an alignment shift, and given her a Jedi class of your chosing You'll also get a truly unique robe not seen Anywhere else (Thanks to RH and JC), along with 3 light sabers that corresponds in colour to your chosen class After having gone through the dialogue with Master Seelah, Mission will unlock new dialogue choices when you speak to her (yet to be voiced) Any and all feedback is welcome, though I'd prefer if it was constructive ^^ Thanks to Ebmar who provided assistance to me, when I suddenly got an issue with the dialogue speeding by in my mod (fixed now, and turned out to be an issue with the way I'd encoded the voice files the first time around).

Installation is simple: just drag the .tga files you want into your override folder. It is, in fact, compatible with KotOR 1. Fire Files: fx_fireball01.tga fx_flame.tga Covers the flame effect from flamethrowers and things that reuse this (most custom force powers using fire use this effect). The fireball is an adaptation of Fire_001 made by Mr. Bubble for RPG Maker games. (http://mrbubblewand.wordpress.com/tag/fire/) I recolored the flames to be a little less red, and also added some tween frames to make the whole thing more puffy. It is approximately four times the original flame's resolution - the original was made of multiple overlapping 51x51 sprites expanded up to consume entire bodies, these are 204x204 with soft blending edges. The fire stream is an adaptation of Misc Fire Element made by dbszabo for general usage. (http://dbszabo1.deviantart.com/) It was a pretty simple affair. Ice Files: fx_crystal01.tga fx_reflectmap.tga The ice is an adaptation of Ice Texture made by DudeAlan2001 for general purposes, and is eight times the original resolution, going from 128 to 1024. (http://dudealan2001.deviantart.com/art/Ice-Texture-77076446) I slightly colored the ice and played with the alpha channel, but I didn't really do any hard work on that one. Most of the hard work was actually on the ice's reflect map, reducing the overpowering glow to be a little paler and a little less common. Overall, it looks more like "unnaturally glowing ice and snow" and less like "unnaturally glowing saran wrap."

One thing that I found blatantly irritating is that while the dialog for how the Maintenance Officer met his demise on Peragus was both graphic and descriptive, the actual "body" of the aforementioned was absolutely untouched. This really breaks the immersion for me, so I changed the texture for his model and re-skinned the texture to have more "damage". The screenshots do a pretty good job of showing what it looks like.

“The Atton we all need and deserve. The Atton who looks like he spent the weekend in a cell. Which is exactly where I found him.” - The Exile “Is he trying to grow a beard to impress the Exile? Has he just forgotten to buy a new razor?” - Mira “No, honestly, I can lend you mine.” - Mical “Kriff off, all of you,” - Atton Rand Joking aside, this is what it says on the box: Atton with a scruffy bit of facial hair. Works best for light side players. If you have any comments or suggestions, please contact me at my tumblr, aroaceobiwan. Please note that the texture on his jacket in these screenshots comes from the mod 4k Atton by Constar.
