NPC Diversity Pack [K1] A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 0.8.0 Beta Release Date: 04.04.2024 Installation: Please install the K1 Community Patch FIRST before this mod! If you plan on using it, install the Unofficial K1CP Tweak Pack mod SECOND (This mod is optional and is NOT required for this mod to work)! Once you click on the HoloPatcher.exe, you'll be given a few install options. 1) Main mod: Installs the actual mod (edits over 600 NPCs so this may take a few minutes to install). 2) Player Head Commoners: This install will add new commoner NPCs who use the player heads. This option will greatly diversify the Kotor galaxy as there are so many player head commoners it's unlikely you'll see them twice in one playthrough, and it greatly reduces the already existing generic commoner heads. If a player head commoner uses the player's head, it will be swapped for another head (So if you're playing Mullet Man then the Mullet Man who appears in-game will use a different head). You WILL have to install this option AFTER the main mod. Description: As with many modders, I have a vision for a comprehensive NPC Overhaul. This mod is currently in a BETA stage, whilst I don't expect bugs, I do expect player criticism/feedback alongside reports of possible mod conflicts with certain mods... updates will be released to fix any possible bugs, add popular player suggestions, possible hotfixes for incompatible mods and new content as they become possible. What does this mod do? This mod is comprised of several smaller mods that have been merged into one big mod, resulting in an immersive NPC Overhaul which is compatible with the K1 Community Patch. This mod swaps the heads of hundreds of NPCs to prevent the 'clone' effect, it replaces the low poly Lite NPCs with actual NPC appearances, it diversifies the clothing, armor and weapons worn by NPCs without touching any of the NPC Loot drops, it modifies the .GIT files in some areas to remove duplicated NPCs, it swaps the soundsets of over 200 NPCs so that the enemies you fight have a truly random "death grunt" sound as they die and MORE! With this mod, over 600 NPCs will be affected (including NPCs which are commonly affected by other mods). It is HIGHLY advised to install this mod (AFTER the K1CP mod) BEFORE you install any new appearance mods. For example, Galaxy of Faces is a mod which adds new appearances. Installing the NPC-DP BEFORE that mod will allow you to have GoF appearances alongside the NPC-DP's NPC Overhaul. Known Bugs: This mod shouldn't have bugs, but if there are feel free to report it to me on Deadlystream. Incompatibilities: Please report any incompatibilities! Player head commoners are affected by player head reskins, if you install weird player head reskins (The Mullet Man to DC Universe Joker for example) then the player head commoner with Mullet Man's head will use that skin. Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission. Thanks to: ebmar: For his attempt at fixing a problem with the TSLPatcher pre-0.4.1! JCarter426/DarthParametric: For pointing out major flaws with the old TSLPatcher setups. SpaceAlex: For fixing the old clothing bug in his K1 Enhancement Project for which his fix was carried over to this mod! Cortisol/th3w1zard1: For the HoloPatcher! Fred Tetra: For Kotor Tool! Bioware: For such an amazing game! Everyone who downloads the mod! Description: Ever since I first saw the blurry mess of a texture in the Kotor 2 prologue, I've dreamt of a way to fix it. This project thus will consist of two stages, this first release is for the Ebon Hawk you see in Kotor 1 with a full visual exterior overhaul. Every panel is completely drawn by hand to ensure the model looks good from every angle with the ultimate goal of using this as the basis for finally fixing the Ebon Hawk during the T3 sequence in Kotor 2. The next step will be the fully battle damaged exterior piece with emphasis on making it finally look decent. I was also informed by a trusted source that the minigame model texture could greatly benefit from this treatment, so that's also in the works. Update 1.1 While working on the Kotor 2 version, I noticed there were a few areas that I could improve on with its Kotor 1 counterpart. The panel work has received a massive overhaul to better match the Vanilla texture including far more detailed colors and a completely redesigned nacelle top. I've also created a much better version of the engine trench (The metallic texture on the sides that denote exposed mechanical details) which I really felt needed the facelift. Lastly, per a great suggestion by ConansHair, I've included some window textures to complement the exteriors with permission from Dark Hope's IGM. This will hopefully be the last big update, but as I continue to work on the Kotor 2 and now the minigame model, I will continue to incorporate any improvements as I make them. Installation: Inside of the zip file are twelve textures for the Ebon Hawk wherever it is landed as well as twelve window textures with TXIs. To install, simply drag these files into your Override folder, or if you don't happen to have one it must be created. (Default Steam Path is C:\\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\Common\SWKOTOR) Uninstallation: Take the textures and TXI files included in the ZIP file out of your Override Permissions: Please let me know if you want to use these textures in one of your mods. I only ask you to credit me for the vast amount of work this ended up being Credits: This would have never seen the light of day without help from my friends on DS. ConansHair for Beta testing and for continually awesome suggestions like incorporating EnvMaps and adding features from other Vanilla Hawk textures which vastly improved the overall look. Sith Holocron for his helpful feedback and the use of his landing platform texture Dark Hope for letting me use her cockpit textures which have greatly increased the visual style of the windows and allowed me to customize them per planet. I would also like to thank Thor110 for letting me use his upscaled Ebon Hawk texture from his modder's resources which more or less also inspired this endeavor. Kotor1 Saves by djh269 for help while testing (special shoutout for having Force Speed on by default ), Fred Tetra for Kotortool, Adobe for their Photoshop, Bioware for creating Kotor, and lastly George Lucas for being instrumental in creating this Star Wars universe I continue to enjoy.

-ABOUT- So this is something that's bothered me for years. Basically, the UV mapping around Revan's mask is a smidge wonky. The indentation on the mask's mesh indicates the visor part of the texture was meant to line up in it. But for whatever reason, no one decided to correct it during development. The only times I've seen this fixed were in the fan film "Knights and The Darkness Part II" and the mod "Brotherhood of Shadows." So I decided to just go ahead and make a dedicated reskin just to correct this little nitpick. Hope you chuckleheads get some mileage out of it 😆 -INSTALLATION- Simply copy/paste the texture files into your Override folder located in your "swkotor" directory. -UNINSTALLATION- Simply locate and remove the files. Go ahead. Do it. I dare you. -COMPATIBILITY- This reskin is not compatible with any mod/texture pack that alters: -N_DarthRevan01.tga -N_DarthRevan01.txi -PERMISSIONS- You may use this mod for whatever project you want, so long as you credit me. -CREDITS- Cortisol - Holocron Toolset ndix UR - TPCview

Adds Vibrodagger with animated texture as a new item (in a hidden stash in the Peragus Dormitories) or as a new skin for Vibrocutter. While porting "Stun knife" model created by Rodesqa, I became interested in the various texture effects specific to KOTOR. The end result uses animated textures inspired by IRobert's "Vibroweapons replacement pack retexture". Initially, this ported model was used by me for learning and testing purposes, so some of the texturing desicions were not optimal and texture space was not always used efficiently, but it should not be too noticeable. CHEATS: 'giveitem vibrodagger_01' - for vibrodagger 'giveitem vibrocutter' - for vibrocutter. Vibrocutter can be found at the beginning of Peragus, but only if you are playing with Restored Content Modification (TSLRCM). Installation Copy the contents of the Vibrodagger folder (if you want it to be a new item) or the Vibrocutter folder (if you want to replace vibrocutter) to your game's Override folder. Uninstallation Delete the installed files from Override folder. Compatibility Should be compatible with anything that doesn't change vibrocutter model or add w_vbroshort_060 model and a_hiddenmake.ncs script (this script creates a hidden stash in the Peragus Dormitories). Permissions This mod can be reuploaded / posted on other sites only if it is unavailable both on DeadlyStream, and on Nexus, and there is no contact with the author for at least 3 months. The content of this mod, however, may be modified and uploaded/incorporated into other mods. View File [TSL] "T3-M4 Found the Ebon Hawk"s Theme This mod plays an ambient-track to complement "T3 finding the Ebon Hawk" cutscene in Peragus' Hangar Bay. Preview Description It edits the entire cutscene to not-skippable, then sets the ambient-track to `mus_s_positive` -- an original audio file that’s located in `streammusic` folder. It also stops the area BGM momentarily for 11 seconds to not have the AT overlaps with, should then it play back again. Requirement It is required for users to have TSLRCM v1.8.6 installed to their game for this mod to successfully working – both in installation process and in-game. K2CP is not strictly-required, but is strongly-suggested to have as well as this mod were made with CP’s compatibility in-mind. Compatibility Should be optimally-compatible with any mods and builds -- long as not affecting `hangcam.DLG` and `mus_s_positive.WAV/MP3`. Note: It is safe now for user to install this version on top of any currently installed version. It supersedes and overrides their functionality so compatibility is much ensured. ** -- for installation instructions, run the installer [Install.EXE]. Known Issues N/A Final Remarks There's always room for improvements; reviews, critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks are much appreciated. PM me here, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and using this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! Redistribution Do not redistribute this mod or re-release it on any websites. I'd love providing direct support to my work, which wouldn't be possible if they're scattered in the Unknown Regions. Did you read the manual? Like its filename says, you really should. The other thing you can do is find similar mods to what you want to do and have a look at their ini setup. There are only a handful of operation types that cover the vast majority of mods (adding files to the Override/injecting files into MODs, editing/extending 2DAs, editing the content of GFFs, adding new lines to dialog.tlk), so it's not too difficult once you understand the patterns and get a handle on what TSLPatcher is doing under the hood.

View File WOTOR Plus Patches Weapons of the Old Republic By T7nowhere,svösh,Mono_Giganto Released December, 20/ 2006 About WotOR: Section I: Installation Instructions Section II: UnInstallation Instructions Section III: Possible Mod conflicts Section IV: Credits Section V: Special thanks Section VI: Terms of use About WotOR: *This mod is intended to be played with a new game, playing it with a current save game may make you miss several cool weapons* The main focus of this mod was to give as many of the interesting NPC's their own unique weapons. This mod adds 22 new models for your eye candy pleasure. All of the weapons are integrated into the game as seamlessly as possible. Many of the models are just straight replacements for the characters original weapons some are completely new. It's your job to find out which are which ;). I tried to keep the weapons balanced, some may even be a little under powered, but since I don't know which path you take through the game I kept them as close to the weapons that are found in the area. Only a few of the weapons have new stats most are the same was the originals. Section I: Installation Instructions To install this mod simply begin the installation and navigate to your SWKotOR root folder and hit the “ok” button. The Patcher is set to automatically back up any files that it modifies in your override. Pay close attention to the install log for warnings and errors. It is very likely that this mod will include the same files that may have been used by other modders. To install the Patches unzip the 2 files labeled “Upgrades”, and copy/paste to overwrite the files already located in the Override folder. Section II: UnInstallation Instructions To uninstall this mod you will need to delete all the files that belong to WotOR from the Override directory. the easiest way to find all of this mods files is to Copy them from the extracted archive and and paste them into override and overwrite all files, this will select all of the files used by WotOR and allow you to right click one of the highlighted files and choose delete(to delete all the files selected). Then find the Backup folder the the patcher created and restore the backups of the files that you originally had in Override before installing WotOR. Section III: Possible Mod conflicts The most likely conflicts you will find if any, will be with the .utc(character files). If you do have multiple mods that modify the same utc you will need to combine the files. (I will add the editing of UTC files to the patcher at a later date) Section IV: Credits svösh: Darth Bandon's saber Mono_Giganto: The One's Vibrosword T7nowhere: Malak's saber Ajunta Pall's Blade Bastila's Double-lightsaber Calo Nord's Heavy Blasters Canderous' Ordo's repeating blaster Carth's Blaster pistol Chuundar's Bowcaster HK-47's Repeating Blaster Rifle Jolee's Lightsaber Juhani/Quatra's Lightsaber Mission's Vibrosword Saul Karath's hold out blaster Sherruk's Heavy Repeating Blaster Sherruk's trophy Jedi knight's lightsaber Sherruk's trophy Jedi Double-Bladed Lightsaber Yuthura's Jedi Lightsaber Yuthura's Sith Lightsaber Bacca's Ceremonial Blade Zaalbar's Bowcaster Section V: Special thanks Special Gratitude goes out to Shem for play testing, proof reading and debugging. I couldn't have released this mod without his help. A very Special Thanks goes out to cchargin who made it Possible for us to make new models for use in KotOR/TSL, tk102 for his very useful utilities for which we all could not mod KotOR and TSL with out, Fred Tetra for his continued support of KotoR tool(aka. KT) another tool us modders could not live without and stoffe -mkb- for the fantastic TSL patcher which has made installing mods much simpler. for those that don't have to set up the installer) Additional thanks goes out to all the people that have been so patiently waiting for me to release this mod and for remembering that I started it Section VI: Terms of use This mod may not be re-upload to any other website unless explicit permission to do so is given by the WotOR mod Team. You may alter the contents of this mod in anyway you see fit for your personal use only. I'll be uploading a new mod some time this weekend. After the LEH_Scre02, I had to redo LEH_Scre01 to be a proper companion piece.

Just put the final touches on a big update for one of my mods. Massive thanks to everyone including ConansHair for the help in continuing to improve the level of quality and Dark Hope for the window textures.
