This mod adds the Force power Knock, which can open locks as if you had used the Security skill on them. You earn the same amount of XP using this power as you would using Security, as well. It is a universal power and costs 10 Force points to activate. When used, Knock unlocks the nearest door or container, provided there is an eligible lock within 5 meters. It cannot open a lock with a DC greater than 50, or one that requires a special keycard. In other words, it cannot unlock anything you could not otherwise unlock with Security in regular gameplay. You can acquire Knock whenever you level up a Jedi character. It will then appear with your other friendly Force powers (such as Heal and Speed). -
3 pointsNow that Dark Jedi Wear Robes is released, it's time to beef up their adversaries with a companion mod. The ranks of the Jedi are a little thin on variety. In my latest playthrough, their Star Forge boarding party apparently comprised 90% Mullet Men. So I plan to spice that up a bit with some new alien Jedi appearances. The first batch are done - Rodian, Kel Dor, and Nautolan males: Like the Dark Jedi mod, this will make use of the ported TSL Knight robe models from @JCarter426's Cloaked Jedi Robes mod. I'm not sure what the full roster will look like just yet, but I've previously messed around with both Rodian and Nautolan female heads, so those are on the list. Beyond that I am undecided.

This mod changes the Dark Jedi appearance (male and female) from a skin tight jumpsuit to the TSL Knight robes (ported to K1 by JCarter). The hood and head of the original models have been retained, with the hood being worked into the torso mesh to make it a more natural looking extension of the cloak. Two extra masked head variants have also been added, ported from the TSL Dark Jedi/Assassins. The Dark Jedi you encounter throughout the game have had their appearances diversified between these three versions, along with swapping a few genders here and there. Additionally, the three Dark Jedi masters on the Star Forge have been given unique appearances. This mod takes advantage of the port of TSL’s robes added by @JCarter426’s mod “JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Jedi Robes for K1”. As such, that mod is a prerequisite. You must at the very least install the supermodels from JC's mod (S_FemaleXX/S_MaleXX), as this mod will not function correctly without those. Compatibility: As mentioned, the mod relies on JC's robes mod. As such, any other mod that alters the supermodels will not be compatible unless based on his supermodels. The mod changes the base vanilla appearances of the four male and one female Dark Jedi. It will not be compatible with any mods that alter those. The mod makes extensive module changes. Make sure that any mods that brute force MOD file installs, like NPC Overhaul or K1R, are installed first. Acknowledgements: Thanks to @JCarter426 for making the modder's resource used to make these robes available, for helping out with script edits for the Star Forge Deck 2/3 modules to diversify the random spawns, and tracking down the obscure spawn origin of one particular group Thanks to @Fair Strides for the edited version of TSLPatcher capable of handling duplicate filenames Thanks to @bead-v for KOTORMax and MDLEdit Thanks to @ndix UR for TGA2TPC Thanks to @Darth_Sapiens for the Cubemap Pack modder's resource Masks for two of the Masters on the Star Forge ported from The Old Republic MMO Thanks to zaramot on the Xentax forums for the TOR GR2 Max import script Thanks to @akimbo73 for pointing out the TSLPatcher issue with the SF Deck 3 module -
2 pointsMy Darth Sion wearable robes are coming along pretty nicely Might be a while until I can make a release though, since I'm borrowing (a.k.a. pending usage approval) male shirtless textures from here.

1 pointI always get lost running Anchorhead, so I decided to try adding some signs to the buildings you can enter to make them easier to spot. I'm not much chop with sign designs though, so I am looking for someone to give me a hand with some better ones. Here's what I have so far: And here is a better look at the individual designs: The cantina sign is taken from the vanilla texture LTS_signs, and the sign frame is vanilla as well. The others use a sign frame from TOR, with the textures being various mishmashes of TOR textures. Although the Czerka one is just something I slapped together myself, and the swoop was taken from one of the vanilla loading screens. I've attached some templates if anyone wants to have a crack. 1 pointYou only need to send the scanner to your Republic alt. They can find the part which is Bind to Legacy and then mail it to your Imperial character, or put it in Legacy Storage.
-
1 pointYes, the supermodels are the only strictly mandatory requirement.
-
1 pointNo, probably not. Using mesh alpha in conjunction with texture blending additive is the only way I have managed to get meshes to properly render behind glass/transparent objects.
-
1 pointMust be whatever font I used. That's god damn annoying. Edit: How's this?

1 pointIANAL, but from a legal standpoint, you won't be able to distribute these converted data files. What you can distribute (probably, I guess, but again, IANAL) is a converter that everyone will have to run for themselves, and everybody who does that will need to have legal, bought copies of both KotOR Android/iOS and KotOR2 PC. This is actually not *that* difficult, at least the Android part. Primarily, what we need is an OpenGL ES renderer. Currently, the renderer subsystem is being rewritten, so adding an OpenGL ES render path would probably clash, but after the rewrite is finished, that would be a very valid thing to do (in fact, that is already on my TODO list). Apart from that, all our libraries, including SDL2, would already work on Android. You can look at ScummVM for a proof of concept of sorts. There's certain things we'll have to keep in mind, like input, but it's not magic. iOS, on the other hand... the problem there is licensing, and the walled garden that is iOS. There's no chance xoreos will be allowed on the official Apple App Store. Not with Apple being Apple, and also because xoreos is GPLv3, a license that's fundamentally at odds with the closed-off nature of an App Store. The GPLv3 grants its users to modify the program, and run the modified program, and you can't do that with App Store things. I don't think there's really any sideloading on iOS, right?

1 pointIf this mod is truly dead (I really hope this is not the case, but many fans fear that the mod actually is dead), then please, at least, if Logan is reading this or You were actively involved in its development and still have the files You were working on, release the files with what You worked on so far! I understand it must be hard to let go, but let's face it: is it better for all the hard work to just "rot away", forgotten on some hard drive in an old PC, that is collecting dust in an attic, or would You prefer that people would be able to enjoy at least a part of Your hard work and creativity, with proper credit being given to Your effort! I am absolutely sure that all content made so far should be released, so that we could enjoy what has been made so far, and other young, dedicated modders could pick up the pace and continue Your excellent work! It could be uploaded to GitHub or even here and given "as is", and I bet lots of people would be much happier to play an incomplete mod than no mod at all! I know it must be hard to let years of work go, but it would be a pity to let pride completly lose and destroy the very work You spent so much of your youths on! Let's face it, it's been 10 years, it is a mod for a 15-year old game, it might not even run on the operating systems we will have 5-10 years from now :(( I know it is sad, but this is the reality, I am sure everyone will really appreciate being able to just play the mod as is right now, with all its missing content and bugs! Some of us are in their mid 30s to their 50s, we might not even live long enough to get to see the full mod released, if it ever gets finished...

1 pointIt's been almost exactly one year since I declared the first version of this mod as finished and started testing it. Well, I just fixed the last known bug! That means it's time for the next round of testing to make sure that I didn't screw anything up with the rather extensive bug-fixing after the first round. Once those tests are done, I obviously need to fix all bugs that were discovered and then I can finally get to the voice overs. It's been taking a long time but the mod is slowly getting to where I want it and that's where you come in: I need you guys to help me test this mod. This requires that you do a full playthrough of the game with some specific choices I need you to make. You cannot use other mods in this playthrough (except for texture mods) and I need you to report every issue you find. Keep in mind that the mod is not completed so there are probably several bugs and it will generally not be a polished experience. Also, playing through the game takes time and while I understand this, I don't want to wait a year for you to complete the game or maybe not complete it at all. If none of that discourages you, please send me a PM and I'll let you know what exactly I need. If you don't feel like playing through the game just for this but would still like to help, I could use someone to read through Juhani's party member dialog for me to check for inconsistencies and other errors. If you're interested to do this, send me a PM. Thanks for the interest in my mod, I'll keep you updated on the progress

1 point(Persuade/Lie) She needs redemption - and the Council doesn't have the strength to. They cannot bring her back to the light - but I can, and I have to. (possibly Persuade) To defeat Malak, we need help from everyone who can provide it, no matter whether it's a Jedi, a Mandalorian or a Sith. That's why i brought her here, and you must accept that. (Lie) You're right, Bastila. I will make her leave us as soon as we will have no more use of her. I trust her more than I do trust you, Princess. (Add Canderous to the cutscene and make him show his approval ) It's none of your business - I bring who I want to. You're right, Bastila. (kill Juhani) This could happen on Dantooine Enclave landing pad when you leave Dantooine.

0 pointsUnless someone else gets around this before I have an operational computer, I'll do this when I can. If someone else can do it before me, have at it. If someone else does want to work on this first, this thread that has a list of all of the female lines that will likely prove useful to you.

0 points@DarthParametric: If you wish to use my Czerka Sign and Desk Enhancement 1.2 (or portions from it) for your Czerka sign, I hereby grant you permission to use it. Also granted - for your cantina sign, you may grab anything from either my Manaan animated texture or the other one. An idea for the droid shop signage . . . instead of using a lighted sign, perhaps have a droid head that moves it's head left and right? You have so many heads to choose from, even without using SWTOR as a source! Slightly off-topic: My computer has died so I may not be able to reply to any messages in a timely manner. Hopefully the repair shop on the island will be able to sort out my issues. (I'll post a Status Update when I'm back up and running.) (It's back up now.)
