2 pointsBefore you go through the trouble of creating a new static camera, you can try to play around with the CameraAngle in the dialog file. According to an old tutorial by Tupac Amaru they stand for: 2 or 3 might work well. But you can also try the others. If that doesn't work, you'll need a new static camera. I'll just refer you to FallenGuardian's tutorial for that.

This is the first part of an ongoing series. The purpose of this mod is to bring the much more up-to-date design choices from SWTOR to Kotor. All textures have been made from scratch; the big animated screen on the bridge comes with whooping 81 pics and 5k resolution for maximum quality. Update 2.0 brings brand new lighting to the ship, utilising warmer colors like in SWTOR, as well as new polished window frames & a new Planet retexture. Update 3.1 out now! It brings a lot of visual improvements over previous versions - new doors, animated consoles & more.... Video covering mod Showcase (Ver. 1.0) / Installation Process: Installation: Download the file, extract its contents with an archive extraction tool such as WinRAR or 7zip, and move the contents to your game's Override directory Compatibility: This mod uses cubemaps, so there could be minor incompatibilites with mods that uses custom cubemaps too. ( but i actually dont know any mod that does that) Just to be on the safe side, i recommend to install my mod last. Beside that it should be compatible with everything that doesnt retexture the Endar Spire or the Stars/ Planet Taris outside. Credits: I want to thank Darth Sapiens for his wonderful Cubemap-Ressource pack, which enabled me to do a lot of things that would otherwise been not possible. 1 pointHelloEveryone, I'm new here! Anyway, I'm here because there is a mod I've wanted to make for several years now. I am actually able to do quite a bit of modding myself, but I am very limited at scripting/coding and I don't have all the time in the world to figure it out. I really would like a helper or maybe even a team to help me create this mod. Okay so remember Malya...? No? Remember the Taris undercity and the outcast village and that old guy named Rukil who was searching for the Promised Land? Well he had an "apprentice" named Malya who was described as a young woman who died trying to find the Promised Land. Now I don't know about you, but that sounds like a serious missed opportunity to me: A female roughly the same age as Bastila who is adventurous and open-minded enough to be a crazy old man's apprentice! Also, I believe KOTOR would be better if you had an option as to which girl you want to end up with romantically. I don't really like Bastila, personally . Now you have a choice, Bastila or Malya. So in this story, Malya survives and joins up with the Main Character and the gang. She is an eccentric sweety-pie who has albinism and has never been outside the undercity, and has never seen the light of the sun in her life. However, she is less pessimistic than the other outcasts and believes in the symbol of hope itself, the Promised Land, even if only in spirit. As a youth, Malya finds a mysterious Holocron while exploring the undercity. She develops an understanding of the Force, and the lack of Jedi interference causes her to develop extremely unorthodox views. These views influence the Main Character and help to cause an even more tense love triangle with Bastila. Also, the Holocron's mysterious source eventually ties into the Main Character's story. What I Can Do -I can do graphics somewhat. I have already made a prototype Malya. I will also make her clothes. I made her a hoodie based on the Dark Jedi Female model, complete with a hood that actually moves with Malya's head! -I can dialogue edit. Mostly. -I can use KOTOR Tool. -I have a very intricate story already developed, I will tell you all about it if we email or Skype. It contains themes of acceptance, love and romance, spirituality and belief, and tradition vs open-mindedness. -I voice act for male characters. I also have ways to get voice actors for female characters. -I am nice and will be your friend forever if you help me . What I Need You To Do -I mainly need someone who can script the quests and cutscenes. I am lost when it comes to this stuff. I am also a full-time college student who works during breaks so I can't really dedicate a ton of time to learning this. -A couple of new areas/maps (they can be reused/reskinned) That's it really. Goals -Make a new fully voiced Party Member with an optional romance storyline. -Expand KOTOR 1's horizons with new looks at morality and spirituality (KOTOR 2 style). -Keep the look and feel of the original game and have the mod seamlessly weave into the normal storyline. -A new "Malya" ending. In addition, if things go well, I have storylines for an expansion that involves adding on the the Malya ending with a new faction that joins the Main Character's independent cause, discovering who made the mysterious Holocron that Malya found, and invading Coruscant . Disclaimer # As the current development is reaching above 30% marks and somehow it looks like it needed its own development thread observed by its potential; I have the confidence to provide this "Legends" series addition a "Work in Progress" thread. # 01. Background # "I'll add your head to those of the other Jedi I have killed, and take yet another lightsaber for my own." Dang. Another blabber-mouthed dudes here aside of Selven previously; said me to myself while facing this cruel-and-evil Mandalorian straight from the now crumbled Taris. And I'm not disappointed; actually he's tough as hell and I even had to load my saved-game for about 5 to 6 times before finally beat him. He fights hard, but as a Mandalorian Rally Master who had fought in the Mandalorian Wars, he looks too basic which convinced me that this metal-head needs a unique-menacing appearance that distinguish him from the rest of the packs. So, hence the mod's development. Vanilla Sherruk's appearance preview: Image is a courtesy of Wookieepedia. # 02. Planning # Change his overall appearance; his head and armor including the melee weapons that he was using. But I'm not going to overdo his looks it as I would still reserves his original colour scheme [dominant-red]. Alters his VOs effect so he would sound different compared to other Mandalorians, as he will using a custom-mask according to the plan. New inventories meaning new challenge. I'm not going to overdid it too because in vanilla he's already OP; maybe kind of tweak his feats and his equipment would be sufficient. Custom weapons means custom names. Haven't actually decided what they'd be and what they are called. # 03. Work in Progress # [Updated: October 14, 2018] [Outdated] Already have the latest concept of his appearance and just to start building from there: I am using SpaceAlex's "Unfinished K1 Enhancement Pack - PC Head Reskins" for the base texture of his head. Also featured is xander2077's "Vanilla Masks Overhaul - Breath Mask" which in-fact I haven't got the permission to have it released along with the planned release. The backup-plan is to have him wearing the vanilla Breath Mask just in case I did not have the permission for it. [Outdated] The mask is removed now. The reason is; I have encountered the same problem similar to the Helmless-Starkiller attempt, which bug makes the mask removed from NPC's head occasionally- and I don't have an actual cure on that. I thought the bug was only happened exclusively to the UC Cantina, but it seems it could happen anywhere. I decided to take the less-difficult path with removing the mask then. As a change, Sherruk will have some implants on both side of his neck, which backstory is; the extended use of Nerve Enhancement Packages defaultly-equipped on him somehow affecting his larynx, which makes his voice sounds distorted. Here's a quick preview of how he'd appear in-game more or less with the recent update: [Update] As Salk suggested, the color of the beard and brows are more similar to that greyish part of the hair now: His personalized melee weapons has been decided; they are using ndix UR's "Traditional Mandalorian Blades" amazing resource as the base [props to Deltm for the assist which directs me to the said mod; for without it, this content wouldn't be a possibility then]. A backstory will be added to the blades in conjunction to their new appearance. Little fun fact, it will have an Alignment Limitation implemented. Here's a quick preview of the blades: As Salk suggested too, his armor also had some touches which makes it looks weary [and tells a lot about him]. 1 pointIm almost positive the Axe has a model in some mod somewhere I just dont know if its available outside that mod as a resource After some searching it looks like the Beskad is already out there in this mod I'll look around for that axe though Im so sure Ive seen it

1 pointIf I may suggest something for his custom melee weapons? Perhaps keeping in the mandalorian theme you could give him a Mythosaur Axe or a Mandalorian Beskad? Or something inspired by them since they would likely need new models? I think if that could be pulled off it would make Sherruk and his quest very unique (Also I love that weird fan axe lol)

1 pointThanks! Nice to hear that you were interested. Ah-ha, this is where things would be different. With the main plot which is the main-installation as planned, Sherruk will not equip those lightsabers [they still be in the inventory and being dropable though], instead- he will be carrying custom melee weapons which haven't decided yet what they'd be. Plot-wise, they are which weapons Sherruk's uses to slay those Jedis that he collected their lightsabers. And for alternatives, there will be an optional installation which let Sherruks equipped those lightsabers, and let the Echani Foils kept in the inventory. Another one is the optional vanilla version, which its inventories are left unchanged.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Traditional Mandalorian Blades ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ for Knights of the Old Republic This modification adds traditional Mandalorian beskar iron melee weapons, the Beskad and the Kal. The weapons can be found and purchased in-game. If you prefer different bonuses for the weapons, you can use your favorite GFF editor to modify the UTI files that the installer places in your Override folder. I made the models and textures. The textures are 1K and relatively simplistic. The original uncompressed textures, along with UV and AO map overlays, can be found in the Modder's Resource package (it is the same as K2:TSL version's Modder's Resource package). Thanks to JDub96 for requesting this, and also to Kexikus for his folder priorities tutorial that helped me realize that .mod takes precedence over .rim ... which was making me go a little insane . Re-distribute or re-use this mod as you like, in full or in part. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ COMPATIBILITY ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The modification is designed for use with K1R.
