Guest Qui-Gon Glenn Posted December 30, 2020 Well, I thought my comment might have got some attention. It seems it did get the attention, instead of the mod. Welp, this new KotOR Level Editor might be a game changer for me... I still have a lot of design docs from my HDD-melted planet project, and the most daunting part I had before me when everything was lost was how to patchwork my modules together. If this software does what it appears to be designed to do, the planet can now be built to my design rather than my horrible compromise I had accepted. This means.... I may dust off the gloves for a bit, and if the mood strikes me, I may fix this mess myself.

Jj117 9 Posted June 9, 2021 Just look at this freaking beauty lol. Anyhow I'm using a mobile version of kotor2. phenex 3 Posted June 13, 2021 Thanks everything seems to be working, but I did encounter a few more issues. 1. The sith droids vo during the "deadly upgrade" quest was also not working. However i was able to fix it. 2. The recording of IS-43 getting shot has his audio from the next recording play as he is walking away. 3. After talking to m478 about telos fuel and speaking to Lt. Gren he responds as if the fuel source deal was made with vogga.
ZeldaTheSwordsman 40 Posted July 12, 2021 (edited) Sorely tempted to report the "fast travel" (read: abrupt teleportation) during the droid quest as a bug, because it sure feels like a bug from how jarring it is. I'll refrain, but I do have other issues. 1) During the game, when did the problem begin to occur? (List a general description of the issue.) A. On arrival, it became clear that every loadscreen has loadscreen text from the Battle of Telos. Not sure if this is a full bug, or just a limitation of "new planet" mods B. The end of the initially-locked-down part of the Industrial Zone (where you find that zone's Maintenance Droid) seems to have some issues. When I'm running into there from elsewhere in the zone, the game tends to suffer a brief lag stutter (might have something to do with my using Master Speed, not sure). C. As soon as I set foot in the R&D zone, the "Deadly Upgrade" quest (which I had completed by fetching CS-28) suddenly showed up in the Active quests, acting as if I had killed the malfunctioning assault droid myself and recovered the module from his remains. 2) Did you install the latest version of the mod? (We are only covering issues concerning version 1.3 - the latest edition.) Yes, I installed the latest version (1.5). The updated upload from this May, even. But based on this thread, going with 1.5 at all seems to have been a mistake. 3) What version of the game do you have? (Steam, GOG, 4CD, or the KotOR Collection?) What region is the game designed for if it's the 4 CD version? GOG 4) Did you update your game as required by your game's region? (Update is required for 4-CD version only. If using a Steam, KOTOR Collection, or GOG version, put down "N/A") N/A 5) Did you use the TSLPatcher, if provided? Yes 6) Were there any errors in the TSLPatcher installation? No 7) What other mods have you installed? Please give an accurate list and provide links to each of these mods - even if they are found on this site. (We don't actually know them all!.) Here's the list, although I'm pretty sure it's irrelevant. https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1004-alternate-revan-romances-updated/?tab=comments https://deadlystream.com/files/file/428-extended-enclave-tslrcm-add-on/ https://deadlystream.com/files/file/416-tsl-clone-wars-armors/ https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1374-harbinger-hull-fixes/ https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1275-peragus-administration-level-room-model-fixes/ https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1773-k2-star-forge-robes-in-ebon-hawk-container/ (Initially incorrectly) https://www.gamefront.com/games/knights-of-the-old-republic-ii/file/revan-s-robes-star-forge-robes-for-tsl https://deadlystream.com/files/file/8-peragus-tweak/?tab=comments https://deadlystream.com/files/file/202-hi-resolution-skin-for-ebon-hawk-tsl/?tab=comments https://deadlystream.com/files/file/514-darth-sapiens-presents-t3m4-hd-2k/?tab=comments https://deadlystream.com/files/file/971-refurbished-astromech-droids/?tab=comments https://deadlystream.com/files/file/759-tsl-origins-telos-overhaul/page/3/?tab=comments https://deadlystream.com/files/file/296-unofficial-tslrcm-tweak-pack/ Saedhe original head component, Kreia-Atris reversion component https://deadlystream.com/files/file/897-tsl-origins-harbinger-overhaul/ https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1515-hd-hk-upscale/ https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1760-delayable-message-from-the-exchange/ https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1881-ebon-hawk-armband/ https://www.gamefront.com/games/knights-of-the-old-republic-ii/file/realistic-nar-shaddaa-skybox 8 ) Can you be more specific about the error? At what point did it happen? (List a detailed description of the issue.) A. Loadscreens talk about Nihilus, Nihilus' ship, and the Sith Fleet attacking Telos. What more needs to be said? But again, not sure if this is a true fault or just a limitation of not being able to inject custom loadscreen text pools for "new planet" mods and instead having to recycle. ...This particular loadscreen text pool also includes tutorial info about the Charisma bonus that probably belonged in the early-game Telos loading screens (instead of them having info about the prestige classes), but that's a base-game issue. B. Not sure what else to say. It's just that when I run into that spot of the Industrial Zone, the screen temporarily freezes before jumping to catch up with where my character actually is. Fairly typical lag stutter. C. After taking care of much of the work in the Central and Industrial Zones (except for buying replacement legs and fitting the control collar), I decided to check out the R&D zone. I had completed the "Deadly Upgrade" quest by telling CS-28 about the rogue assault droid (because not only is it an annoying damage sponge to try and fight - not helped by it not taking proper damage from Destroy Droid - I was hoping that telling CS-28 might lead to it being spared; didn't work out that way, but at least it skipped the fight) and gotten the Assassination Upgrade that way. But as soon as I set foot in the R&D zone, suddenly "Deadly Upgrade" was back in my Active Quest list and acting as if I'd killed the rogue assault droid myself. 9) Have you tried re-downloading the mod? No, because based on everything I've read that won't do smeg to help. I might however chuck it and replace it with 1.3.😡 That or trying to cheatfix my way through the mod with KSE (anyone know the item codes for the missing stuff from "Fixing Droids" and the right values for the "Deadly Upgrade" quest?) 10) Have you tried using a different save game? No. And I don't think it would help, based on this thread. 11) Have you tried starting a new game? No. 12) What Operating System do you use? (List Virtual Machines as well if you are using them.) If you're a Mac user, please note that here as well. Windows 7 64-bit Update: Here are a few extra questions to include as well. All posts (after the one following this one) should include all 16 questions and your answers to them. 13) Can you confirm that you see the TSLRCM logo on the the main menu screen? Yes 14) What language is your game set for? English 15) Which language of TSLRCM are you using? English 16) Are you playing this on a laptop or a desktop computer? Desktop I think the mod's file page needs to be edited with warnings about the problems. EDIT: The 1.3 download on Pa3PyX's site seems to be broken. Wonderful. phenex 3 Posted July 12, 2021 You may as well go with version 1.1, so far in my experience it is the least buggy version as far as being able to complete quests and other things. The only thing that sucks is the other versions have better audio quality for a few npc's, and I did enjoy the new ending but its bugged like most of everything in 1.5. Shame cause the mod is extremely fun and a lot of work has gone into it.

SteveO-37 0 Posted August 19, 2021 Does the mod work with the Mobile verstion of TSLRCM with M78-78EP? I tried installing it (i.e. ran the installer and copied the files over to the mobile side) and it seemed to work (I started a new game of course), but then wiped out the TSF Protocol Droid and the droid at the docks on Telos. Once I removed that mod, it works perfectly. I'm worried that it will make the game unwinnable and I don't want to have spun my wheels playing only for it to get broken. ***Mods installed: MTSLRCM Force powers with armors (RFPRA) green level-up icon Kinrath Egg Bash Crystal Drop NewMandalorianBannersV3 No Lightsaber Quest V1.5 TSL_Head_Model_Fixes_by_RedRob41 TSLGalaxyMapFix UltimatePersonalItems Thanks all, great work on all of these mods! Xaeryth 0 Posted May 23, 2023 I just finished playing through this mod (latest version on this site) and noticed a couple of issues that I thought you should be aware of: 1. The quest with the transmissions never triggered after getting it. I think it was the Rogue quest line. Strange thing is that I got it pretty early (first getting to the area) but I think it might have something to do with the dialog with the droid. I got the quest but there was no way to get out of the conversation without saying "I can't help you" (or something along those lines). I didn't think much of it because I assumed it was something coming up but when I killed that Padawan (sorry, can't remember his name); Dark Side; it changed the quest to unable to complete because what's his name was dead. I decided to try without killing him but there was no dialog to trigger anything to proceed with the quest. 2. The droid to repair (near the entrance to IS); think its name was IS-58. I was unable to complete because I could not find the 3rd part (I think it was in the Central Zone) but the only droid I saw there was near the mechanic (box droid on its side) that I had already looted way before getting the quest. I couldn't find any other parts. I'm fairly certain it was in CZ but if it was in IS, there may have been something missing. I saw a screenshot of a line of droids by the Loading Zone with one behind them but they were either not there or I did something to get rid of them. Like I said, I'm just letting you know what I found. I didn't go back to try again from the start (too much work) so I just continued on with the game after leaving the planet. I have quite a bit of mods installed (too many to list) but they all have choices if M4-78 were installed. Either way, thanks for all the work on bringing this cut content back. I've played KOTOR 2 many times since it came out and this was the first time I tried this mod.

Pilzprinz 0 Posted June 17 (edited) Hello! I'm working on AI upscale and retexture mod for M4-78 planet. https://www.nexusmods.com/kotor2/mods/1213 I have an issure with envmaps - they just doesn't work on M4-78, but work on other planets and characters from the main game that is present on M4-78. Instrad of shiny metellic surfaces I have just flat diffuse texture. If I delete respective .txi files, then the textures become transparent. I tied few versions of M4-78 mod, I've tried PC with GTX 1080, laptop with GTX 1060 and laptop with RTX 3070, I also tried disabling discreet card and run it on intel 8-th, 10-th and 11-th gen. The envamaps on M4-78 works properly only on my anrdroid phone, but I don't know what version of the mod I have there. I treid to move 80*DRO.are and 2da files from my phone to pc version, but nothing changes. I have GOG version installed. I think it's something with the module prefs, probably envmaps just turned off or something. If you tell my what file I can copy from my phone to make it work I'll be happy. Also when I finish my 4k texture mod you can use it on your future releases. Thanks! As you can see this local droids have reflections on their cilindrical parts, but other textures (and even characters) don't have it. I have the GOG version and can't figure out how to download mods from steam. It says subscribe to download, so I subscribe but then there is no download link. From what I've read, people say it just downloads and installs in your game through steam, so I'm taking that to mean that the mod cannot be downloaded standalone. Is there any other way to get an older version of the mod that can be installed with the GOG version of Kotor2? Also, having a model bug: 1) During the game, when did the problem begin to occur? I used the KSE to change the model (which was Env_02, I switched to NPC_HK47), and that was fine but then when I used the Sith Holocron which is supposed to show Bistilla, it again showed this 4 legged droid model. I'm not sure how many other models have this issue yet, but since I encountered it a second time, I figured there could be more and wanted to try to fix the issue. 2) Did you install the latest version of the mod? So TSLRCM's method of installing is different from most mods wherein the mod itself is contained inside an .exe file and is installed by copying the mod files to their correct locations within the Kotor 2 game folder. M4-78EP's installer is exactly the same way, the exe installs M4-78EP by copying the M4-78EP files to the Kotor 2 game folder. Since this would result in the installer overwriting some of TSLRCM's files, the M4-78EP mod was built off of TSLRCM's files. For example, this meant TSLRCM's appearance.2da file could be safely overwritten as M4-78EP's appearance.2da is just TSLRCM's appearance.2da with the extra M4-78 appearances. Now, it looks like you've installed TSLRCM, installed the Rebuild HK-47 mod, installed DP's Hologram mod, then installed M4-78EP. Installing it like that has destroyed every mod that added new appearances as M4-78EP overwrote the modded appearance.2da with its own appearance.2da. The only way to fix it would be to install TSLRCM, install M4-78EP, then the Kotor Mod Build, or reinstall without M4-78EP.
