    This is an early release of a mod that adds the KOTOR 1 planets to KOTOR 2 with quests and content. Around 70 quests are added. Help the Republic retrieve stolen data and medical shipments. Deal with a disturbance in the Force on Tatooine. Fight Sith on Yavin. Fight in the arena on Coruscant. This is just some of what's in store. This mod adds Manaan, Coruscant (different from Deathdisco's classic mod), Tatooine, Kashyyyk, Yavin, Rakata Prime, and Sleheyron to KOTOR 2. On these planets, you will find over 70 new quests. The general feel of this mod is to add content that largely fits the style of mid 2000s BioWare games. There are quests/scenes/gags that are inspired by those games. SWTOR was also a huge inspiration to the quests. I would guess that this mod adds somewhere in the neighborhood of 8-12 hours (give or take) of gameplay if you do everything. The mod also features additional banter between companions. Currently, only Visas and Mandalore as a pair are featured. Try taking Visas and Mandalore out adventuring with you. More to come. Mod name still being worked on. How do I start? As soon as you finish Telos, you can visit the new planets. This mod does not have any main quest. It adds many side quests that you can choose to do. Much of the quests can be done in any order, though there are some quests that follow others and/or unlocked through doing other quests. A save prior to arriving on Telos is required to play all the content, though currently, starting after Telos will only prevent you from completing a minor delivery side quest to the medical bay. Some of these quests include: *Bounty Hunting: -On Coruscant, Tatooine and Manaan, you will find terminals that will automatically update you with bounties that are available (similar to talking to Zax in KoTOR1) *Deliveries: -Some people in the galaxy just want someone to act as courier and this is a good way to get some easy credits *Operations: -Inspired by SWTOR’s operations and flashpoints, you will find a Republic Trooper milling around by a shuttle on Coruscant. He can tell you more about operations which might be somewhat challenging dungeon style content *Story driven quests: Certain NPCs give storyline quests. Lt. Rene on Coruscant can get you started on one particular questline. Sometimes landing on a planet will lead to a storyline. Some storylines can only be done after others (Manaan’s, for example starts after Coruscant’s and then Manaan’s storyline is one prerequisite to start another questline on Coruscant if you also help a twi’lek at the Coruscant bar obtain an artifact from Yavin). The Hunting Lodge on Tatooine has a cryptic old man who wants you to do him some favors. *Korriban additions: The cave has an addition over in the back leading to several new modules with temples. *Dantooine addition: Over by the Kinrath cave is a path that was blocked off in vanilla that will lead you to the Grove. Upon entering the grove, you will start a new quest. *Companion Quests: -Visas Marr has a quest if you ask her some questions after getting to know her a bit. -Mira has a quest if you enter the Manaan docking bay with her and walk around -Handmaiden has a quest if you talk to her after training her to become a Jedi *Kreia's vanilla plot hook about about "Tulak Hord's lost holocron where he recorded his techniques" is now something that grants a quest of sorts. Though some things are better left buried... *On the planet Sleheyron, rumors persist of someone trying to free slaves from a local Hutt's rule. *There are some "inspired by SMT fiend fights" sort of "super bosses", usually at the end of a quest (though I can think of one who is just chilling in her temple for now). I can't really reveal much about these fights as it would spoil the surprise, but if you think about force "power levels" you might understand why about half a dozen special fights should be hard considering who you are fighting. There are a few legendary galactic figures (or aspects of them) that you can fight and some of them drop pretty good loot so come with buffs and medpacs. *More to discover This mod was voiced using AI. No other aspects of this mod involves AI. Installation instructions 1. Install TSLRCM 2. Install M4-78 EP 3. Copy the contents of this mod into your install folder, ensuring that you overwrite when prompted. A few aspects to be aware of in this mod: 1. It doesn't take into account a dark side Revan. It was specifically written to take into account both Male and Female Revan, but some characters appear in this that couldn't otherwise. 2. The mod is intended for a Male Exile, however I did make some modifications that allow a Fem Exile to experience all the content. The training holocrons for Handmaiden currently do not work with Disciple, however. 3. There aren't a lot of moral choices at this time. 4. This mod is in English. 5. Currently the NPCs milling standing around the settlements don't serve much purpose. Their little flavor blurbs haven't been implemented yet. That will be done soon. 6. This mod SHOULD be compatible with mods that replace textures except for the ebon hawk cockpit skyboxes. Reskin away other than that. 7. This mod is still being developed. The difficulty especially is being worked on. All content should be playable though. ------------------------------ INCOMPATIBILITIES: This mod, out of the box is incompatible with Newbiemodder's Korriban Expansion and Deathdisco's Jedi Temple. The mod was designed for future compatibility with Deathdisco's Jedi Temple, however. This can be addressed by a simple drag and drop optional compatibility fix in the future. A future update will include (with permission) a modified version of Newbiemodder's Korriban Expansion. Party Swap is incompatible at this time. Any mod that gives Visas Marr a prestige class is incompatible as this mod grants her one at the end of her personal quest. Ebon Hawk cockpit skyboxes are currently incompatible. Schematic Lightsaber Mod is VERY incompatible due to edits to companion dlg files and an edit to Nar Shaddaa's refuge quad module. Additional testing seems to indicate that the incompatibilities are much more serious than a cursory glance indicated. Apparently in concert with this mod, it breaks Korriban in several places due to some changes in utc files. Content Pack- Feats and Powers has been reported to be incompatible ------------------------------- Known to be compatible: Extended Enclave by danil-ch Expanded Ending by WildKarrde Genoharadan Legacy by N-DReW25 Just the those installers after you install this mod. I personally use those mods in my own build and I recommend them. -------------------------------- KNOWN ISSUES: There are some issues that may cause you some minor annoyance, but they have no effect on the actual mod. The imported modules have mini maps that are off. They still serve a purpose to let you see where you are going. The .vis files going from KOTOR 1 to 2 seem to not work all that well and have usually been omitted. This has the unfortunately annoyance of disabling some visual effects (shadows/force speed/stealth field effect) within that particular module. Certain modules have been modified so their .vis file works. These specific modules are usually because I needed a visual effect for a cutscene. Balance is being worked on and my response to reports on balance is to try and get a new version out ASAP. So if you find something to be egregiously difficult, then let me know and I will immediately try and address this. --------------------------------- The following mods and modders resources were used in this mod.     Main idea Have you ever, while playing KOTOR, been disappointed by the way the prestige quests’ storyline on Korriban was organized, because you couldn’t tell Uthar Wynn about every quest you’d done before going to Naga Sadow’s tomb just because you “had enough prestige to become a Sith in full” ? And then, they would stay in your quests journal forever. Or maybe, you were annoyed when you discovered that to finish Ajunta Pall’s quest, you had to give away his sword and you couldn’t get it back ? Especially with amazing mods that make it look so beautiful and actually enjoyable in-game ? The K1R and K1CP remove the quests from the journal when going to Naga Sadow's tomb. So with one of them a part of the issue is fixed. However, I promise you, this is a way better alternative. You can choose between : - VANILLA FRIENDLY VERSION : This gives you the possibility to tell Uthar about every prestige quests you’ve completed, even after reaching max prestige. You'll need to report to master Uthar right BEFORE going to Naga Sadow’s tomb for your final test. To be very honest, this is mostly for dark side players, but I’m sure there are lots out there. Furthermore, I’ve played as a neutral/slightly light side character and I still had that problem (1 or 2 quests I couldn’t finish). - FULL VERSION : It contains 3 main components.     Keep in mind this is still a demo / early access for a project that is insanely oversized and may never be fully completed, so probably best for most users to avoid this project / mod for the time being until I have cleared things up a bit more. View File Proper Korriban quests ending Main idea Have you ever, while playing KOTOR, been disappointed by the way the prestige quests’ storyline on Korriban was organized, because you couldn’t tell Uthar Wynn about every quest you’d done before going to Naga Sadow’s tomb just because you “had enough prestige to become a Sith in full” ? And then, they would stay in your quests journal forever. Or maybe, you were annoyed when you discovered that to finish Ajunta Pall’s quest, you had to give away his sword and you couldn’t get it back ? Especially with amazing mods that make it look so beautiful and actually enjoyable in-game ? The K1R and K1CP remove the quests from the journal when going to Naga Sadow's tomb. So with one of them a part of the issue is fixed. However, I promise you, this is a way better alternative. You can choose between : - VANILLA FRIENDLY VERSION : This gives you the possibility to tell Uthar about every prestige quests you’ve completed, even after reaching max prestige. You'll need to report to master Uthar right BEFORE going to Naga Sadow’s tomb for your final test. To be very honest, this is mostly for dark side players, but I’m sure there are lots out there. Furthermore, I’ve played as a neutral/slightly light side character and I still had that problem (1 or 2 quests I couldn’t finish). - FULL VERSION : It contains 3 main components. girlfriend will be seen on Manaan Sith Lieutenant Ellabelle Blenlin, which will be an odd thing for a Republic and Sith trooper both sides both being in a romantic relationship while on Manaan, Two pics seen here Junior Lieutenant Ellabelle Blenlin is to be the only Sith Officer with freckles and also ponytail hair unlike the remaining female Sith Officers in the game, she will be Dak Benkins' girlfriend she is on good terms with the Republic and is undercover with the Sith, Junior Lieutenant Gareth Carplin is also friends with Ellabelle and only best friend second only to Dak he is on good terms with the Republic undercover, keeping a low profile, Both Ellabelle and Gareth are not to be recruitables at all but just allies of Dak Benkins of both different sides Republic and Sith, (Note) Even though I had also wrote characters Captain Hugo Gurragann and Private J'aahn Lancoln they might have to be absent because not every character is recruitable in the first KOTOR game, That's the biggest issue yet about recruitable characters if introduced then they might have to remain as throw-away characters if they survived Endar Spire and also remain at the hideout on Taris and also means remain aboard the Ebon Hawk the rest of the way not as playables, Also they're will be a few sidequests on Manaan only for his arc stories like many of Revan's party members, his arc stories include at the Sith Cantina where Duan and Viglo are, we meet Sith Officer's Junior Lieutenant Ellabelle Blenlin and Gareth Carplin whom exchange they're true colours that they're on good terms with the Republic and dont' like the Sith they're are undercover like a fulcrum agent but they're isn't a word in KOTOR called it they're just undercover for Roland Wann as double agents giving vital information to him, Dak learns that not all Sith are bad and can't all be bad at least a few, Dak and Ellabelle would go out on date and also take her to the Vistor's Hotel in Ahto City from their they talk and later before he leaves she gives him a communicator to keep in allied contact with her and also promises to take her out on a second date again sometime when the war has ended, Dak's second quest is he meets his old friends from Corellia, both the Rodian Arod "Arrow" Renning and the Chadra-Fan Vyrr Wezz, where "Arrow" is just the Captain of the New Controller, the Ebon Hawk's sister ship of the Dynamic-Class Freighter fleet, and Vyrr is the Co-Pilot of the New Controller, we only have four crewmembers with them, Navigator Nikto Salsose Vec, Gunner Mandalorian Neo-Crusader War Veteran Rokis Zuhl from Clan Zuhl an old comrade in arms with Canderous Ordo during the Mandalorian Wars, Gunner/Ships Cook Trandoshan Tshossork Augri, and Ships Medical Officer Human Female Lea Stryder are only to appear from New Controller the others are just mentioned only and Kel Dor Tol Ban, Cerean Ny-Mudurr-No Mosil, Ugnaught Montru, will not be introduces as nor Kel Dor, Cerean, Ugnaught are in KOTOR engine sadly unless created by one of the modders be a total nightmare, the humans ex-Jedi Knight Beltok Koren, and crewmembers female Yasmyn Starr, and Male Silus Riou, and Rodian Female Hii Zsa, and Twi'lek male Fawzijoz are just mentioned only, since KOTOR only has the avaliable species the Rodian, Chadra-Fan, Nikto, Trandoshan, avaliable for New Controller's crew roster, in this mission they have to kill a courrpt Duros Bounty Hunter at the Visitors Hotel named Room Moks, he and several of his thugs have stolen goods from shops in Manaan which the crew plans to buy, also Moks' wants revenge for his college's death Davik Kang on Taris, Dak, Revan you control as, and only one party member your choice of pick assists you to help "Arrow"s crew stop Moks on Manaan, they face him down and literally kill Moks at the Visitor's Hotel, after that "Arrow"s crew take the goods and "Arrow" says fairwell to Dak before going and promises him to join them again on another mission when the war ends, That is a bigger problem in the making, So we might have to just have the standalone Dak Benkins for all the rest of the Game, Also we will need a voice actor for Dak Benkins, maybe me but since I cannot post gmail account here rather it's best that I'd be messaged privately to do it and I'd need the script written of Dak Benkins's dialogue needs to be well written, and if our party member like Carth, or Bastila, or Mission, or Zaalbar, or T3-M4, or Canderous Ordo, or Juhani, or HK-47 or Jolee Bindo replies at Dak just to remember you will have to try sentice audio mix and either join words together like I seen them do it in some funny YTP videos on Youtube or of course elsewhere it can be done like some of the KOTOR machinima creators did short dailogue too, the idea will involve if we can find a way to pernounce Dak Benkins, we ought to find how to get it spelled and pernouce D.A.K for Dak and then will find a way to pernouce B.E.N.K.I.N.S for Benkins if we can combine words together thus in KOTOR it's not hard and believe me that I actually joined Bao-Dur's words together and spelled this is how I did Bao-Dur's lines to spell Caleb Deming, How to spell Deming on sentence mixing. First choose word of Dantooine or Data take Da of ta use Da for 'D' Temperate or Letting take em from Temperate use for Dem and take ing or you can use readings take the other meaning of ing then we spell and you have the word 'Deming' Another hint how to spell Caleb which I did for Bao-Dur We take the word 'Cant' shorten to Ca take Ca of nt, Let we take le we shorten of t use le Obsolete we shorten off Ob remove solete use Ob then we spell teh word and you have 'Caleb' So we spell 'Caleb Deming' That's isn't hard when you can sentence mix on movie makers for audio attempts. so they're you have it. So also try to attempt to maybe look into sentence mixing Dak Benkins for me or us fans with either Carth, Bastila, Mission, Canderous, HK-47, Juhani, and possibly that of course Jolee, or some characters will sentence mix to make good dailouge so why not give that a try it's not hard once you sentence mix for a mod. or for a machinima. Also I hope you might like my suggestion I have in mind, also since I am new for the time being I might post out four mod request ideas in the topic that could be suggested upon for future mod ideas for anyone who is willing to do them, this is my penulitmate idea for KOTOR mod creators as it's number one on the mod request list, I will leave out four ideas on the list if anyone likes the ideas
  7. Hey guys! I'm brand new to modding. As in "first day of pre-school" new. I downloaded some modding tools from here and started playing around with them, primarily KotOR Tool. I've even made some tiny mods for TSL that actually work in the game. Where I'm seeking help is with quests that end with rewards or loot. For example - on Dantooine, when you alter the will of the dead salvager and turn it in to Zherron, you're rewarded some random items. How would I go about modifying what items a quest like that rewards the player? Is it a scripting issue? Is there a specific file I need to track down? I'd appreciate any advice or even a link if this has been covered somewhere else on the forum. Thanks!
