I am also curious where the porting stance change came from. I wasn't the one rallying for it but I was the one that suggested the Porting Tags be implemented, in case we need to quickly reverse the decision made. On one hand, I won't have to hear the (until now) ceaseless clamor from those wanting to port between the game. On the other, DP illustrated the possible concerns. I won't be personally approving mods that carry the Porting Tag. That's to both limit my liability and to limit my current mod approval caseload. Hmmm . . . Has anyone noticed that those folks that were asking for this porting rule change the most haven't said anything in this thread yet?

I don't know . . . I kinda like the Uno card look! As long as you can add in the green cards, I'd say make two packs and see what everyone thinks when both are out? (I mean, you've already done most of the work, right?) Perhaps folks will gravitate towards the Uno version more than you think.

The filter is not set in stone. Whatever filter we put on male Revan will have to be added to female Revan as well for consistency's sake.

I had a new thought: you know how the site now gives a brief snippet of the latest post in a thread on the main page? Though I don't care about spoilers for Solo (which I won't be seeing until it comes to the remote island I live on) or The Last Jedi which I've already seen - some thread's posts body of text probably shouldn't seen on the main page. Is there a way to set up a SPOILER tag that if activated won't show that text on the main page? (Off-topic: Looks like those movie threads are still toxic. Glad I don't go in them anymore.)

If you're talking about this . . . . . . then this is my solution to being able to use more of the samples I have already been provided with. For example, I have a female North American voiced Revan which I'd like to be made available for the game but you can only have one female Revan line in the game at once. This pack would solve that. In addition, what if you could have your Revan from this series, or this series, or from The Jedi Masters. That could be a possibility. (I've reached out to the Revan from The Jedi Masters but not the others at this time - but that's mainly to do with a side project which I won't be talking about here as it's a completely separate project cancelled.) Well . . it was just that you were being a pain in the ass in one of my Status Updates where you were claiming you found a voice actress for 50 dollars to do the lines. The quote above from concerning you was really: put up or shut up. So I was kind of calling you in particular out for being that guy. Don't be that guy and try to derail or hijack my Updates or threads.

The player character does have some brief vocal responses in both games - like when the open a footlocker and along those lines. Does anyone have a complete list of what the characters say in those sound files and what the names of tho sound files are? Additionally, when listing the sound files if you could list whether they are male or female, that would be helpful. Because if I'm grabbing folks to do the lines for the Korriban Expansion voiceover project, why not get them to do the voices in the original games so it's the same all the way through?

I have handed in the female Darth Revan line I received from the Fiverr voice actress to ndix UR and Newbiemodder so they may listen to it. The line has no filters on it at this time. So there's that. DarthVarkor wants to give the I am curious about something folks. I received lots of good takes from a number of people for the characters. I was wondering if anyone would be interested if I released the voice lines as a separate (with the appropriate lip sync which I'd need assistance with) - so folks could extend the life of the mod by having alternate voices available. This would solve (for some people) minor issues such as Darth Revan having a British accent instead of an North American one. (I have a few more non British samples coming.) Even if I were to do something like this, I'd need to wait for the main updated mod to be finished and I'd want Newbiemodder's permission to proceed. Oh BTW . . . ebmar? If you want a French accented woman to do Darth Revan's line, this paragraph outlines your opportunity to shell out some dough and get it done. (I'd want a sample both with and without filters. If you actually want to do this, PM me.)
