My Projects In the Pipeline (mostly texture related)
MrPhil replied to Malkior's topic in Work In Progress
I gotta say it looks amazingly superior to your other version. I like how the ithorian has some kind of crest or something (color differenciation on the forehead, I guess). The one area that looks kind of fuzzy is the fingers. The skin looks weird. Other than that, I'd say it is in a state that I would certainly not mind using. Very good work -
I hope Kain is willing to check this out!

Who's site is that, if I may ask?

For the Ithorians: have you taken a look at jonathan7's work? I think he has the most HD ithorian reskin out there. Might be an inspiration for you? I like how you did the eyes, but I still prefer j7's skins. To me they just look more realistic. Obsidian/bioware got kinda sloppy when they did ithorians skins. Their skin looks like it has some kind of derm sickness or something... -
There you go. Malkior made half the work for you. Post these info plus maybe the picture in the thread I mentionned and if somebody still has-it, they will send the file your way.

I'm sure if you found the pics, you can figure-out the name of the mod. Google has such options: "Visit link where image was posted" or something...
-
Well, where did you find the pics, for a start? And then, posting about-it in this thread: http://lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=167699 -With the name of the mod- just might yield some results

Kreia Stick Lightsaber crashes game

Why is this in the jedi knight section? -
Yup: download "Oracle VM VirtualBox" (Free), dust-off your old XP cd install and cd-key, and install a virtual computer.

Yeah, well, now there's Mass Effect explorer, which should simplyfy the task. I must say I like this ME1 mod, but I feel like the scorpion armor has not been updated (since it is one you wear a lot when not soldier, it is too bad). Also, since installing this mod, I've experienced at least 3 CTD for around 1h30 of playthrough. It is gonna be a long one. Stability has decreased a lot, onfortunately. I also sometimes get these dialogue bugs, in which the image freezes for a time before resuming. All of these issues weren't there prior to updating. Hey milestails, did you apply the Large Adress Awareness Patch, in order to get the texture mod working?
-
Is there something like that for Mass Effect 2? Something that doesn't use texmod?

Yeah, much better indeed! The toes looks better too, if I'm not mistaken... Also, I like how the gamorrean skin now has a wet/slimy feel to-it. -

You might want to add some grain to the sandals/thongs, improve the texture somehow... -
Never heard of this. Seems like a nightmare to code-in. What do you think, Fair Strides?
-
If you reinstall, that won't be necessary. Just use the compatibility list and things should be fine. But remember the other mods can be incompatible towards them too, not just towards TSL RCM...
-
Malkior is working on a new version too...
-
Well, here's for comparison: Here's what I got: Floor changed, overall texture change, ship changed (duh), ceiling's darker, screen's changed, Peragus Nebula added, space has changed, the windows looks changed too, without the ugly bars at the lowest part... Hitting any close to mark or what?

Heh, I always liked Garrus as a squad mate, but my Shepard makes fun of him. Keeps him on his toes.

Actually, Mass Effect 1 was the one that bothered me less with the online activation. Had a CD copy at the time though. If by up to date, you mean patched, then yes, I am pretty sure Trilogy is just about fully patched. It does not have every DLC though, which is a damn shame...
-
Gee that's a hard question. Wasn't there so I can't quite answer that one, but I must've been around for at least 3 years? So I'm guessing this has to be like 5 years old or something! Since TSLRP never end up anywhere these guys have decided to do something about-it and I'd say it turned out pretty well...

The one with most DLC's the best. Otherwise, you may miss out on some content. The only DLC I did not quite enjoy and did not really help in the end was Pinnacle for ME 1. Aesthetic aren't required either. But weapons mods... I'd take 'em

Hey, never mind me, my infiltrator took the shot and Garrus lost the contest

Your own Leviathan rewrite mod sounds pretty inspiring too!
