  1. How did TSLRCM go about editing the loot scripts? What was different about than the vanilla game loot scripts?
  2. I've seen that before. I was kinda curious for a breakdown of what each upgrade does (ex. +1 Con.) and what the skill requirement is needed by the player. Thanks though!
  3. Just what the title says- does anyone have some solid numbers on the player character's computer use and repair skill levels in order to fully upgrade T3 in TSL? I've never been able to find any numbers on that.
  4. There's some dialogue between the Exile and Atton that was supposed to show up in the dialogue shortly after the Batu Rem assassination attempt. Scorchy included the dialogue in one of his posts down below. The dialogue is about two-thirds down the page. https://lparchive.org/Knights-of-the-Old-Republic-II/Update%206/
  5. Apparently, they even teased a few pieces of content in the link below. Most of this content should look familiar to TSLRCM players, with the exception of the first trailer's mentions of the cut GenoHaradan plotline. https://www.youtube.com/user/TSLRP/videos
  6. Good point on that. I guess I was getting too much into the lore. But regarding the Assassins' hitting power, I never had any trouble, even with the difficult difficulty on (then again, it isn't that difficult). If you also look at the combat log, the assassins' combat stats are pretty dismal, with a strength mod of -1 and a dual wield penalty of -6 (so only the first rank of dual wielding feat). So yeah, they don't really hit that hard.
  7. Pretty much what the title thread says: why didn't the Sith Assassins use force powers like Drain Life and Force Push while fighting the Exile and company? Kreia states several times in-game that they are Force-sensitive and can feed on their prey's life and force energies. Did the Developers forget to add it in or something? What do you folks think? For more info, here's some useful links for more reading. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Sith_assassin http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Force-sensitive/Legends Video of one of Kreia's explanation of how the Assassins operate nearby Force-sensitives (Skip to the 2:25 mark to reach the proper dialogue sequence).
  8. Makes sense. I doubt anyone wants to do voice splicing to compensate for male exile lines as that would be a nightmare to edit.
  9. I know that this is an old topic, but I'd like to add something else. At least from a gameplay standpoint, I know a lot of people complained about the Disciple's low wisdom score, which was rather problematic when he became a consular. Then again, both he and the Handmaiden come off as very sheltered and naive individuals, so the low score kind of makes some sense. Still, the low score was rather annoying for his force power potency. I'm curious why this wasn't added in TSLRCM. The audio files sound like they're all there. Was there a lack of direction in the game scripts of what to do with the files, (ex. player's responses) or a lack of places on the map modules to have the holocrons placed at?
  10. If you guys don't mind me asking and taking a look, what classes are the generic Dark Jedi and the Sith Assassins in KOTOR2? Are Sith Assassins the assassin prestige class? (To be honest, I'm half expecting someone to say scoundrel for them).
  11. Well that would explain why Darth Traya was so difficult to beat in the end. Thanks for posting, I was always curious what her endgame stats were.
  12. Seems that the developers preferred the health heavy classes like guardians and soldiers for bosses. After all, it makes sense for bosses to have a high health pool to have the player whittle down. How was the KOTOR 2 leveling system different?
  13. Apparently in the Star Wars Miniature game, the Jedi Guardian figure resembled Atris. In the promo art, she's often seen with a blue lightsaber, the classic color of the Guardians. http://shop.tcgplayer.com/star-wars-miniatures/champions-of-the-force/jedi-guardian http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Atris#Powers_and_abilities In the Wizards of the Coast KOTOR guidebook, Atris is labeled as a Jedi Watchman on page 40. https://www.scribd.com/doc/31674112/Star-Wars-Knights-of-the-Old-Republic-Campaign-Guide-Saga-Edition-WTC21827#scribd
  14. Huh... it's a bit weak for a title, but it fits the current mood of this trilogy. So far from what we know in this new canon of this trilogy, Luke is the only full fledged Jedi left in the galaxy right now. I'm guessing that something might happen to him either in this episode or episode 9. Rey most likely will take up the reins of a newer Jedi Order ( if rebuilding even happens).
  15. Huh... I thought that the three Sith Lords were the Sith Lord prestige class. I'm surprised that Nihlus was a Sentinel, as I thought he was a Consular or Sith Lord class. Thanks for the info!
  16. I'm curious if anyone has ever found out what in-game classes the Jedi Masters and Sith Lords were in KOTOR 2. The game only explicitly states that Kavar is a Jedi Guardian. Atris is a historian and Archivist, so I imagine that she is a Consular. As for the others, I'm not really sure what Vrook (although I'm guessing Consular for him), Vash, Zez-Kai Ell, Sion and Nihlus are in terms of classes. Has anyone looked at the game data and found out?
  17. Ah, well that explains it. The used Xbox copy I bought from a classmate long ago didn't have the manual, so I missed out on that part. This helped out a lot. Thanks!
  18. That wasn't my intent. The games were just never clear on what the morality point values were.
  19. I'm curious as how the LS/DS values work in the KOTOR series. Is the morality scale a series of numbers (e.g. 0 being full dark, 50 being neutral and 100 being full light?) And are there point values for your responses in game? Example: +5 LS points for being kind and charitable to someone in need and +10 DS points for wounding/killing them. Feel free to chime in. Thanks!
  20. I remember seeing that, although I forgot what the mod title was. Thanks for posting that! I also had a few other ideas/recommendations- 1) Is it possible to highlight the class skills of the various classes in yellow text, kind of similar to KOTOR2? 2) Can there be a feat progression swap between HK-47 and T3 like in TSLRCM? Poor HK barely got any feats while T3 got a ridiculous amount. 3) Shouldn't the Sentinel have repair, computer use, stealth and demolitions instead of the consular, (as Sentinels have more 'worldy' non-force related technical skills) ? Or is there a way to integrate the mod below into the K1R mod? http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/854-consular-sentinel-class-skill-swap/
  21. Interesting how that works out... Thanks for replying back! Now I know for future reference.
  22. Agreed. In my mind, I assumed he gets rid of the uniform when the pod crashed landed on Taris. Afterwards, when you wake up on Taris, though, he should have his classic orange jacket though. On the Endar Spire, you're bound to wear a uniform and not civilian clothing since you're on a military vessel.
  23. When you first meet Atton in KOTOR 2, he starts talking about Revan. The player has the option to adjust what gender and alignment Revan was in KOTOR 1, but there's also a dialogue option of "I could care less about Revan's fate. I have other questions." At that point, Atton recognizes that you are the Jedi and the game progresses from there. I'm curious what If you select this option, does the game automatically choose a light or dark option? Is it like the Mass Effect series where if you didn't play one of the earlier games, you get a new game with all the 'bad' (or renegade choices) automatically picked for you? Feel free to let me know in the comments below.
  24. If possible, shouldn't Carth be in a Republic soldier's uniform when you meet him on the Endar Spire for the first time (both over the comm and in the escape pod bay) It just makes sense for continuity's sake.
