  1. When you redo the GenoHaradan confrontation, will the basic GenoHaradan thugs helping Dessicus wear something similar to the GenoHaradan Mesh Suit in K1? Maybe the Echani Light armor for a skin? I think they have both have a similar texture. In this video you put up, they only have the Ubese armor. http://www.gamebanshee.com/cgi-bin/search/banshee_search.pl?_layout=KotOR1_Items_Page&_cgifunction=search&kotor_items.game=KOTOR1&kotor_items.id=277 http://www.gamebanshee.com/cgi-bin/search/banshee_search.pl?_layout=KotOR1_Items_Page&_cgifunction=search&kotor_items.game=KOTOR1&kotor_items.id=248 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-4gcxqSGR4
  2. So is the template the same as the blonde colored farmers' clothes that you get at citadel station?
  3. Exactly, plus they didn't highlight the class skills with yellow text like they did in KOTOR2.
  4. Was there anything else that was hardcoded in the game aside from feats?
  5. Ehh, I get where you're coming from, but knowing how much Kreia thinks that Lightsabers can end making a Jedi or Sith much less than they are, I think that she's better off with a plain vibrosword. She's not obsessed with lightsabers at all really. Regardless and out of curiosity, what color blade would you want for her should the mod get implemented? Green since she's a Consular? Or maybe a Red blade as a leftover memento from her Sith Lord days?
  6. Nope, she still has a vibrosword that she pulls out. There is a mod that does that, though I'm not sure where'd you find it. I did find this on youtube though.
  7. Would you just drop the edited script into the override folder afterwards then?
  8. Same here, I started playing K1 and K2 way back during my last year of high school. Yeah, someone's first playthrough on a new game should be a vanilla playthrough. Still have my original Xbox, and I was actually playing around with my old K1 savegames for nostalgia's sake a few days ago. That happened a lot on my original Xbox playthrough of K2. Half of the time when I entered combat, the framerate dropped drastically so much to the point where the game seemed to stop and start over and over.
  9. So my Windows 10 laptop works fine and old computer games like KOTOR2 run pretty well. However, when I started playing on this computer a couple years ago, the Sith Assassins lack the see-thru shimmering effect that's usually seen, instead getting a yellow white sheen around them when they enter stealth mode. Similarly, the watery shimmering edges of the screen are absent during Kreia's telepathic communications and the droids lack their blue or red monochrome first person view filter. However, the force sight effect works fine for me. My computer has a Nvidia Geforce 940M graphics card that gets regular driver updates (current driver version 388.00), an Intel® I7 Core 5500 CPU @2.40GHz, and 7.9 GB RAM. One would think that there's enough power to cover all the graphical effects. Anyone know what might have caused this? I still play the game regardless, but this still made me curious.
  10. Did you just recolor the basic clothing model in gimp? Is the clothing template name the following: g_a_clothes01? I really like that dark grey 'blend into the background look' the clothes have. http://www.gamebanshee.com/cgi-bin/search/banshee_search.pl?_layout=KotOR2_Items_Page&_cgifunction=search&kotor_items.game=KOTOR2&kotor_items.id=692
  11. Yeah I know that wasn't the strongest suggestion, but I figured it was worth a shot to mention. I like this idea, considering that Bao-Dur's artificial arm is one of his defining features. And I'm sure he could just overload the power generator in his arm to make it explode. He's a tech expert so he could find a way.
  12. These next two options might seem a bit of a stretch, but Bao-Dur could get poisoned by a strong type of gas, considering that there's a ton of gas traps in the Telos Military base and the HK factory. Or have some Sith follow HK and Bao down to the Military base landing pad and have a fight outside the base. But yeah, this is such a grim topic...
  13. I personally like the first entry the best, at least in terms of the audio splicing. I say that with a bit of bias because I always envisioned HK and Bao Dur fighting alongside together on Telos, rather than on Citadel station. I do agree with Qui-Gon Glenn's hesitation here on the idea of having Bao-Dur get killed by a turret. That idea might need some reworking or more setup. Maybe have a roomful of turrets that take out Bao-Dur, not a singular turret. That would be embarrassing for Bao-Dur and might be a bit anti-climatic.
  14. Thanks! Then what do you have to do- put the changes into a folder and drop the contents into the override folder? Or do you have to run it with the TSL patcher?
  15. Holy cow, that was fast! Thank you! If you don't mind me asking, what happens next? Is there a script that needs to be made up to fit the conversation into the game?
  16. So all companions that can use melee weapons (save HK and T3) have this feat? Will this mod also make the affected weapons (swords and batons etc.) require this feat?
  17. Yeah K2's Jedi Classes weren't broken like some of the Jedi class features were in K1. All I wanted to do was give the Computer Use skill to the Consular (similar to the WOTC's Power of the Jedi Sourcebook where one of the Consular's main skills and its corresponding prestige classes was Computer Use) and give the Repair skill to the Sentinel. Or maybe give both repair and computer use to the Sentinel only. Looking at the skills 2da files, there's two columns for each class- xx_class and xx_reco. Which one(s) do I need to edit in order to keep the changes? And did you need to use TSL patcher? Thanks!
  18. Couldn't something like this compensate for those lack of lines? Conversation example: Handmaiden: Yes? Exile: I want to show you some of the techniques I've learned from my travels. Skip straight to this following line: [Handmaiden has learned Aggression form]. Handmaiden: Thank you (Splice line from her "But thank you for your kindness" line after the Exile tells her to take the regular quarters and ignore Atton after leaving Telos.)
  19. I like this! It always bugged me how the vanilla version of the K1 sentinel lacked these skills. A quick questions-How did you change the skills for the classes? I'm curious how you made the switch. I'm thinking of doing a similar kind of mod for the sentinel and Consular classes in Kotor 2.
  20. Were those lines fully voiced by Atton's VO artist?
  21. Speaking of which Reztea, what's Atris's starting level when you recruit her this mod? Is it level 6 like the most of your companions? And do you have a list of her starting feats and powers?
  22. Did these stats get toned down in the current mod release?
  23. Honestly I thought the reason that this Handmaiden/Visas scene no longer plays out is because of the Malachor prison sequence where the exile tells Mandalore to lead Mira, Handmaiden/Disciple and Visas to safety after freeing them. Atton is out wondering around the academy after he duels Sion, and then shows up at the core after the Exile kills Traya, so that part always made sense to me. Then again, this was my experience from doing my playing the 1.8.4 version during my first TSLRCM playthrough. That was on a Light side male. Currently working on an 1.8.5 playthrough.
