      If you want news about TSL:
      KOTOR 2 Community Patch includes many small fixes.
      GenoHaradan Legacy v.1.0 and few small restoration mods by N-DReW25 have been released.
      Expanded Galaxy by Thor110 is developing rapidly, but it may be too early to try it.

      Replacement Loading Screens for KotOR2 by Sith Holocron.
      Movie Mandalorians - Retextured 1.0.0 by Mcfly.
      90SK released updated armor packs.
      TSL/K1 "Better Male Twi'lek Heads" by  Ashton Scorpius has a surprisingly large number of downloads for npc head replacer🤔

      Several Reshade presets for TSL were released on Nexus.
      Some older famous mods have received updates.

    I've been out of the game the last 4 years or so (college will do that to ya). Any mod releases I should absolutely know about from that time? About to start a new job but I'm planning ahead for my next K1/K2 playthroughs this winter, haven't played in about 5 years

      In addition to what was said the last time you asked this question (https://deadlystream.com/profile/24126-revanator/?status=7914&reply=13709&type=reply&do=editStatusReply), I can name 3 major released projects:

      1. New Lightsaber Blade Model by Crazy34 for KOTOR and TSL - adds a dynamic ambient light to the blade. This mod started a new era in KOTOR modding, no doubt. Schematic Lightsaber Mod 2021 already includes these glowing blades, and other authors are also interested in using them.

      2. Content Pack: Feats and Powers by TamerBill for KOTOR and TSL. This is one of the very few mods that adds new feats.

      3. High Quality Skyboxes II by Kexikus for KOTOR and TSL.

      They've recently updated the mod builds for both games on the KOTOR subreddit.  Worth a look...

    Just released updates for my 2 most popular mods. Finally found the drive that had all my KotOR mod tools on it, so I was able to tweak some lines and fix typos in my Leviathan dialogue mod, and permanently removed the hella buggy manual install for Bastila's Dark Bodysuit.

    About to start a KotOR playthrough on Impossible difficulty...no cheats, no changing the difficulty, and I'm avoiding OP item mods. Would anybody be interested in me recording this? If so, 2 questions: Commentary or no, and what program should I use?

      ahah, this sounds like a journey! Also, have you played on Impossible difficulty before? I'd watch some, especially the Sith Governer on Taris part.

      Never a full playthrough no, mostly just for testing.

    Anyone know what the specialized loot is in Kressh's tomb? I'm thinking about adding his gauntlet to the game, but I'm wondering how hard that would be.

      It would appear to be sith_mummy.utp in 711KOR_s.rim. It would be easy enough to add additional items to it, but given Obsidian's propensity to reuse resrefs in TSL, I'm not sure whether it is unique. You may need to package it as a MOD, although you could probably also use a script.

    Anyone who plays on the TOR Ebon Hawk server got anything they'd be willing to trade? Particularly interested in adding to my collection of ancient Sith pieces (Freedon Nadd, Ajunta Pall, Tulak Hord, Marka Ragnos, Naga Sadow).

      I think unk44_evilbast is the one that you fight against while the other 6 are for your companion if you choose the DS ending. Which one is chosen depends on the player level.

      Nope. If I didn't use the Prima guides, I usually used the nice ones for K1 and TSL at Game Banshee.

      I didn't know about guides until like a year ago. But I had several siblings playing the game ^^ so we all discussed strategies and such.

    How do I create a custom equip-screen icon for a custom item? What's the file name format? (e.g. g_w_blstrrfl01 for the blaster rifle's models, and utis. How do I translate that into the icon texture?)

      SH, we've long maintained that people can post whatever they want in the status section, modding related or not.

      Revanator, you'll have to change that with the blaster's model number. Change the model number to a new one, and name your new icon file to match the new number. You'll also have to extract the .mdl and .mdx for the blaster rifle it's based on and renumber them too.

      Considering Canderous stated in KotOR that he had ben fighting for "40 of your years" and Mandalorians ride off into battle by their teens, it is reasonable to assume he is in his 50s.

    I have an alternate clothing texture for one of the party models that I'd like to use in game (not a replacement, but as an armor that needs to be equipped for it to show up). Seems fairly simple but for some reason it isn't working. Is there some major step I need to do besides renaming the relevant tgas, utis, and mdls/mdxs?

      I'd advise against editing appearance.2da if possible, and instead make your texture name conform to the convention. If you must edit the 2da, you need to change the entires in the appropriate texture column for your model to blank (****).

      What convention should I use, then? Again, I want this to be a texture on a standard clothing model that doesn't replace the standard texture unless an item is equipped.

      Look at the existing texture names. As I said previously, it will be a base identifier plus the variation number. For example, PMBD06.

    I still have that Leviathan Differentiated dialogue WIP sitting around. I have to fix a few rodian soundsets but other than that it's done...would anyone be interested in me uploading it?

    I'm in the process of taking some very nice KotOR party drawings from Google Images (concept art/some stuff from other people) and updating my K1 party portraits with them. I know I probably can't upload them here, but I thought i'd check in case I'm pleasantly surprised.
