If you want certain files to always overriide the override folder files, but them in the rims folder.

Well, no, not in the video, no. But, it would be easy to make a list with all of his color variations and then export all of those. And sadly I don't even remember all of the colors we had come up with, but chances are that when we do get to the color crystals, I'll use some names that you came up with. I'm just not sure if I want to do around 30 color crystals, you know?

An update for you all! It comes in video form (2 videos) Videos include an original modeled saber hilt, a new modding tool and a shameless plug for mine and 90SK's mod. There are still more secrets to come as well. Stay tuned and enjoy! And as I always say: Suck it, Jaevyn! One last thing I forgot to highlight in the video: DupliSaber can indeed be configured to export sabers in MANY DIFFERENT COLORS. For instance, when I was developing this mod with Crixler, we had brainstormed at least 30 different colors! To do that manually would have taken forever... but now it won't!

Hilt attributes had not been something I was going to do. This is more for the aesthetic aspect of lightsaber creation. By the end, there will likely be so many different hilts that it'd pretty much be impossible to give them all unique attributes.

Okay, so it's become fairly clear that I can't visit this site without doing something. And the more I play TSLRCM, the more I realize we need a sweet new mod. Not another content mod - a peripheral system. So, I have an idea. It's a saber mod. I have everything mapped out. I know what I need to do. The issue is doing it. So I have an experiment I want to try. Maybe it'll revolutionize Kotor modding, maybe it won't. Only time will tell. I will be recruiting (although 'recruiting' is not right word) I need people who can model lightsabers. (There is no inbetween. You can or you can't) I need people who will not object to grunt work (Don't worry, I'm making a tool that will ease your troubles). I need someone with a keen sense of narrative (Good spelling, good at writing item descriptions) You will need to download some tools. For right now, I need to know what lightsabers need to be made. I need suggestions USM sabers are welcome (I have permission from Chainz.2da to use USM sabers) HOTOR sabers are welcome. Anything you can find on the internet is welcome. Keep in mind I want to keep with the ornate saber style of the Old Republic. And varied styles are a must. The idea is to have a saber type for each Force Class (9). Also, I will be using Nihilus' saber from my mod, and I currently have a Darth Sion saber which I will post later. Eventually, we wil get to Each Jedi Master and Sith Lord saber, but not right now. I want to see how these 9 will play out first. This is ultimately to get an idea of the saber designs you, the end user, will want to see. In the meantime, with all of this brainstorming, I will be working in the shadows so we can start working right away. So... .GO!!!!!!

I'm excited to say that I finally got the video done!!! It's not as good as I could do, but I may be compelled to try another should time allow. Perhaps I'll review some other mods... maybe some by newbiemodder? Who knows what could happen? -

I'm considering transplanting some of the more refined parts of MVI into a smaller mod so that something can at least be released. There's not a whole lot that would be included but some of the actual finished sections would include: Travel to Malachor scene (I had made one originally but it needs some tweaking. Hopefully not too much work will be involved) Remote and Exile activate the Mass Shadow Generators The 'enhanced' HK-47 vs. G0-T0 scene Exile enters Trayus Academy scene. Perhaps Visas/Mandalore cutscene. Everything else would actually require some context or isn't exactly finished and I don't really have the time to put in extra work to finish these moments of awesome. Come to think of it, The HK-47 vs. G0-T0 scene probably needs to be included - seeing as that it is that it ties directly into the ending of the HK Factory (at least what I had planned anyways). That said, I need to see how Malachor plays out in TSLRCM and hopefully these scenes will make sense.

A Malachor VI tidbit that may see the light of day in its appropriate context. For those of you wondering, I had to remap the entire head so the faces would look asymmetrical. That's supposed to be bleeding mascara, btw. What on earth could she be so sad about?

Don't count this as a cease in hiatus. I'm not technically back - and just because I am back doesn't mean that I will be working on and releasing Malachor VI. Though, it will have to be finished some day. For right now, I'm trying to ween myself back into modding. Fortunately, back when I was supposed to be working on a bunch of other mods, I got distracted and went on my own adventures. Never really finished a lot of them, but some I got pretty close. Anywho, I'm trying to clear out my modding folder and maybe drum up a little anticipation like in the old days. What you see is probably what is going to be released, although if any recommended changes are easy to implement, I may consider them Without further ado.... Younger Atris Head Idea behind this was to make an Atris head that more closely resembles the vibrant and fierce young woman from the TSL promo material. I can go with the british accent and I can deal with all of the judgement, but Atris just seemed like a frumpy old lady. Not very menacing. If she's going to be Darth Traya (I mean that in a role-playing sense, not that she should wear those Maleficent robes), then I'd want someone the complete opposite of Kreia - a fairly young idealist with all too much confidence in the Jedi code. Anywho, I hope her new face isn't too rigid. The shadows around her jawline are due to shadow rendering. It will not look that rigid in-game. Also, the first image is the new version. Second is the old version I'll try to push out more mods as I come across them. Some are simply too expansive for me to do anything with them right now, but alot just need some tweaking and are pretty much ready for release. Stay tuned.

UPDATE: I have the footage recorded. I'll go through and add some witty commentary and then, of course, preface the video with a legendary scene from Malachor VI. I'll have to do this in segments because I definitely was not really paying attention and died. -
