  2. For those who don't know, I've been working on a saber mod that will be compatible with TSLRCM. It will bring USM, HOTOR and all the other hilts you can imagine together in one big mod. Well instead of speculation and discussion, we are now entering Phase 2 of the mod making process. Phase 2 is the part where the mod actually works and could be released as is (no TSLPatcher ATM) However, since this is intending to expand beyond its current scope, I figure we can start a new thread not about which are your favorite sabers, but an official update thread. I'll still take input of course, but the focus of this is to provide updates and get feedback about the mod itself, not just the sabers. Also, if you could, I'm trying to decide on an epic name to call this mod so people will be intrigued and download it. I don't want all this work to go to waste after all. Just vote here or if you have another idea, just post it below Here's where we're at. USM - I have permission from Chainz.2da to use USM hilts. 20 of which are converted HOTOR - I have permission from Qui-Don Jorn to use HOTOR hilts, just waiting for the textures Quanon - Permission Pending Evasto - Whatever's on Kotorfiles DeadMan - Lightsaber Pikes (credit will be given) And a few others (some Kotorfiles ones that slip my mind) Here's the current system in action. (USM hilts and my own Sith Hilts included)

Update: After a good long day of modding, I've managed to generate the 800 files that are required to make the 200 USM hilt/color combinations (20 hilts, 10 colors) Needless to say though, not everything is working correctly in game but that comes with the territory of mass generation of files. Hopefully I can work out the kinks.

  6. Update: 23 total sabers from USM have been chosen to be included in the mod. I left a few out because of the movie hilts (Anakin, Vader, Luke, Qui-Gon's etc) and the BA-122 Prototype I just wasn't sure what to do with it (since it's intended use is to be a breakaway saber). On top of that, I still have HOTOR to go through, and I've gotten permission from Evasto (Kotorfiles) to use two of his magnificent hilt. Next, I just need to make all of the hilt UTIs and necessary 2da edits and we could be looking at a release pretty soon here.
  7. It'd be far easier to just apply the bonuses to single sabers. The models themselves, I don't care for too much. The only benefit they have is for two weapon fighting, but if I add the offhand bonus, is there any benefit to having short sabers? Plus, I had in mind to try some other saber weapons that'll make you say "What's a short saber?"
  8. Nihilus saber from Hi Poly tin cans, yes. I'll probably even get the Hi Poly tin can models in there too (for the hell of it). Oh, by the way, unless you guys have any objections, I was just going to omit short sabers
  9. Update: The scope of this mod has changed. Instead of making a new set of Sabers (as originally stated), we will instead be focusing on converting USM hilt, HOTOR hilts and any other random hilts to be compatible with this mod. Only 3 sabers (modeled by your truly) will be included and will be known as the Sith Lords pack. As you might imagine, they will be the sabers of Darth Sion, Nihiuls and Traya. After converting all of the saber models, maybe I'll have some inspiration to try some other hilts. Anywho, I'll offer updates as we go along converting USM and HOTOR hilts

  11. It is pretty annoying once you notice it though, isn't it? Same thing with the infamous "Green Kreia" bug in the vanilla game.

  13. Update: I now have access to all of KDJ's HOTOR sabers. Are there any that you would like to see in this mod? I'm already planning on getting most of KDJ's double sabers for the mod.
  14. Probably should read those feats a little better... It's amazing how differently I play the game as opposed to my first playthrough (2006).
  15. That's a good question. I always felt like the dexterity bonus (when you have a max dexterity bonus restriction) lowers your attack with blaster rifles. Thus, Heavy Armors I figured were more for the Soldiers with super high Strength attribute. Guess the only way to know for sure is to try it out.

  18. Traya Hilt: Almost done UV Mapping. Dunno if those red light parts should change with the blade color or just stay red. Thoughts? Also, if anyone could get me an install of gmax, I can use the gmax file of HOTOR hilts that KDJ has entrusted me with. With any luck, they'll be in the new mod as well.

  21. The HK factory is in its unofficially complete version in 1.8. Anything before that is more or less messed up. As the creator of the lower level, I can't even remember which variables do what. It would be easier to just load an earlier save. Go to the West wing first (the one with the 51s) and make sure you reactivate them on the upper level. But in all seriousness, I would recommend 1.8.
