*********************************** Knights of the Old Republic *********************************** TITLE: A Crashed Republic Cruiser on a Nameless World (1.1) AUTHOR: LDR FILENAME: ldr_repshipunknownworld FILESIZE: 176 MB -------------------------- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS -------------------------- There are 2 available methods of installing A Crashed Republic Cruiser on a Nameless World. The standard installation method is done entirely though TSL Patcher, and doesn’t require you to do anything beyond simple button clicking. The manual installation is for those unable, for whatever reason, to use TSL Patcher, and involves the copying and pasting of files from folder to folder. NOTE: With the standard installation method, this mod is far more likely to work alongside any other mods you may currently have installed, which may not be the case should you use the manual installation method. I have attempted naming files in a way where there should be a minimum chance of mod conflicts, but you never know. This mod also has an "Optional" installation meant to use in conjuction with either/both of SithSpecter's High Quality Blasters and Colored Loadscreens mods. To uninstall, remove the files from their respective folders in the SWKotOR directory. ------------------------------ » STANDARD INSTALLATION ------------------------------ 1) Double click TSLPatcher.exe. 2) Click the "Install Mod" button and select your SWKotOR game directory. 3) Sit back, relax, and wait for the installation to complete. ------------------------------ » MANUAL INSTALLATION ------------------------------ 1) Open up the tslpatchdata folder. 2) Copy all files with a .wav extension and paste into the streamwaves folder located in your SWKotOR directory. 3) Copy all files with a .mod extension and paste into the modules folder located in your SWKotOR directory. 4) Copy everything else (With exception to changes.ini and info.rtf) and paste into the override folder located in your SWKotOR directory (If there isn't one, create one). ------------------------------ » OPTIONAL INSTALLATION ------------------------------ 1) Additional install options have been provided for additions to SithSpecter's High Quality Blasters and Colored Loadscreens mods. 2) Double click TSLPatcher.exe. 3) Click the "Install Mod" button and select your SWKotOR game directory. 4) Sit back, relax, and wait for the installation to complete. --------------- Mod Permissions --------------- You may not use any assets of this mod in your own mod without first contacting me. ------------ DESCRIPTION ------------ This mod adds 6 new modules, 9 new items (3 equippable inventory, 4 datapads, 2 keycards) on the Unknown World, making the crashed Hammerhead explorable. You must have a save before setting foot on the Unknown World. -------------------------------------------------- » Version 1.1 Changes -------------------------------------------------- - Fixes a bug where the party was prevented from spawning in during the confrontation on the beach on a DS playthrough following completing the Temple. - Corrects reported spelling/gramatical errors. - Integrates optional install paths through TSLPatcher for additions to SithSpecter's High Quality Blasters and Colored Loadscreens mods. ----- BUGS ----- Any mods that modify the unk_m41aa OnEnter script will be incompatible with this mod. "Frame Buffer Effects" turned off in the swkotor.ini results in audio logs without the blue camera effect. If you find any please post them in the comments or send me a direct message. I will address them as soon as I can. ------------------- » MODULE/ITEM NAMES ------------------- For this to work correctly in conjunction with your own mod, you must not use any within the following list as names for your custom module/item reskins. m41ae m41af 152unk 153unk m41ai m41aj LHC LHW Blaster Pistol template 020 Forearm Band template 019 Gauntlet template 019 ------------- Voice Acting ------------- DarthTyren as Medical Officer Audio Log Mellowtron11 as Engine Officer Audio Log Sith Holocron as Republic Captain Audio Log Zhaboka as Kolgrim ----------- Permissions ----------- Permission granted from Darth InSidious to use his alternative beach Hammerhead textures. Permission granted from DarthParametric to utilize his edited mdls from both his Endar Spire and Harbinger Hull Repair mods. Permission granted from SithSpecter to utilize integration for his High Quality Blasters for Modders resource and colored loadscreen templates mod. Permission granted from Thor110 to repurpose his ported K1 Harbinger modules. ------- Credits ------- - To the people who created the tools which have allowed me to create this mod. - Kotor Tool..........................Fred Tetra - K-GFF GFF Editor/DLGEditor..........tk102 - ERF Editor/TSLPatcher...............stoffe - MDLOps..............................cchargin/JDNoa - Lipsynch Editor.....................JDNoa - XVI32 Hex Editor....................Chmaas - CSLU Toolkit........................Oregon Health & Science University My beta testers: djh269, jc2, N-DReW25 and Zhaboka. 1 pointIt occurred to me that Korriban is probably the one planet that makes an effort to differentiate the named characters from the clone crowds elsewhere...with a few exceptions. Kel Algwinn, Tamlen, and Adrenis all use the same Asian commoner model. Tariga uses the secondary white commoner model which, depending on your planet order, gets annoyingly overused for side characters. Dak Vesser uses the same Black commoner model that shows up a million times. Thalia May has the same female Black commoner model as every other young woman. I'm also tempted to try out a similar change for Belaya, Eli, Matton and Jordo, but they're on the back burner for now.

1 pointAI model as in a artificially generated voice? I hadn't thought about that. I know of some softwares like Resemble AI that can do really cool things. I'm not really interested in a romance mod, moreso a mod to turn her into a jedi, and add new dialogue for dark siders who choose to kill her. I know someone has already made a Jedi Mission mod, i'm half hoping that individual or someone else with more modding experience would want to make it using fresh sounding voice lines. Really I just collected them for fun one day and thought it would be cool to post it here as a resource -kk

1 pointWell for starters your brackets are all over the place. And while it doesn't actually affect anything, you shouldn't use the name eLink if you're not linking effects together. So what you're actually trying to write is this: void main() { effect eMove = EffectMovementSpeedIncrease(99); ApplyEffectToObject(DURATION_TYPE_TEMPORARY, eMove, OBJECT_SELF, 600.0); } If it doesn't work then the problem is probably how you've set up the armband.

1 pointI hear what you're saying but . . . these lines that I refer to would probably best be used to "train" an AI model. With the extra information, an AI voice platform would have that much more information to perform any new custom lines. With the limitations of AI training, emotion (in your example, possible seductiveness) tends to be removed from any newly created lines. So if you wanted to add Mission to say KOTOR2 or KOTOR3 mods, you could more easily do so. And she'd be older by the time of KOTOR2 or 3, so that would lessen the "ick factor." Just to be clear though - I wouldn't want a romance mod.

1 point[Update: 03/31/2021/AM] Just to let you know that the project's not dead -- well, it actually is a couple weeks back since I haven't touched it from when. 😂 Will want to keep it short here. So there's a change of concept to most -if not all- of the room. The central area that was planned to have fountains will be replaced by a field-sized lounge that has an island bar at the center -- The idea comes from @DarthParametric originally, and with thorough discussions as well of careful considering -- can say that this one's final [conceptually]. 🤞 Also with his generous help we can finally get a beautiful TOR-ported-own-modification island bar at the center there. There are changes follows with the then drinking-lounge/bar, so it is now will be a *cough* stripper-stage -- You can see there as well a new-sleek-table-lip again made by DP, to help Pazaakers or drinkers or whoever they will be to comfortably keep their hands on the table. There are also lightbeams from the lamp that we get the idea from Kashyyyk's to make this sleazy-dirty place prettier [and make some senses]. There are couple of changes made but I forgot which, but for sure they're an improvement from the former. Will get back to you soon with another update -- one with significant progress, hopefully. Cheers. That's all for today -- catch you later, and may the Force be with you!

0 pointsI was having this issue too. I isolated the problem to sion_cut.dlg from the Extended Enclave Mod. Removing that file from Override seemed to fix it and Sion's introduction + Harbinger docking sequence played normally. It also fixed an issue where trying to view the camera recording of Sion breaking out of the kolto tank on Harbinger would result in a black screen.
