=PartySwap= A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC II: THE SITH LORDS MODIFICATION ORIGINAL AUTHOR: DarthTyren (darthtyren@gmail.com) CURRENT MAINTAINER: Leilukin LATEST VERSION: 1.4.1 FILE NAME: PartySwap 1.4.1.7z CONTACT: E-mail to Leilukin at leilukin@outlook.com, or message to Leilukin on Deadly Stream 1. DESCRIPTION: This mod allows the player to recruit both Handmaiden and Disciple in the same playthrough regardless of the player character's gender. After Disciple joins your party on Dantooine, a usable adrenal item named PartySwap will be added to your inventory. You can use this PartySwap item to replace any member of the current party with Handmaiden, as long as you are able to choose your party at that point of the game. This item is created to work around the limitations of not being able to select Handmaiden from the party selection screen after Disciple joins your party and takes Handmaiden’s slot in the party selection screen. However, Handmaiden remains still one of your party members, and you can still talk to Handmaiden. This mod also modifies certain parts of the game where potentially both Handmaiden and Disciple can become involved in the cut scenes. In addition, this mod prevents Handmaiden and Disciple from referring to the player character with the wrong pronouns by editing dialog and splicing voiceovers. For this mod to take effect, you must install this mod before you leave the secret academy on Telos, where Handmaiden joins your party. The PartySwap item only works if Handmaiden has already joined your party. NOTE: Since July 2023, the original mod author DarthTyren has officially handed over the management and development of this mod to Leilukin, due to DarthTyren's departure from the KotOR modding scene. Therefore, if you have questions about or encountered any issues with this mod, Leilukin is the one to contact for. 2. INSTALLATION: First and foremost, make sure you have The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod (TSLRCM) installed, since TSLRCM is REQUIRED for this mod to work. After downloading this mod, extract the mod’s 7z file to anywhere you like, as long as it is not within the KotOR 2 directory. Run PartySwap Installer.exe located inside the extracted folder. You will see two installation options. You may only choose ONE of these options: Default Installation: Choose this option if you use TSLRCM without M4-78EP. M4-78EP Installation: Choose this option if you use M4-78 Enhancement Project (M4-78EP) in addition to TSLRCM. You must install M4-78EP first before running this installation option. FOR REGULAR TSLRCM USERS: Choose the installation option you want, and select your KotOR 2 game folder as your KotOR 2 directory path, click the “Install” button and let the installer do its job. FOR STEAM WORKSHOP USERS: If you have subscribed to The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod (TSLRCM) from the Steam Workshop, for your KotOR directory path, you must choose TSLRCM's Steam Workshop folder, NOT the main KOTOR 2 directory. The directory of the Steam Workshop version of TSLRCM is \Steam\SteamApps\Workshop\content\208580\485537937, while the directory of the TSLRCM + M4-78EP combined Steam Workshop mod is \Steam\SteamApps\Workshop\content\208580\1402798020. When you install this mod, two new folders named "backup" and “uninstall” will be created by the installer in the same folder as the installer. Do not delete the folders or any of the files within the folder if you are planning on uninstalling this mod. This mod also provides a compatibility patch for deathdisco’s Coruscant Jedi Temple and danil-ch's Kreia's Fall Cutscene (In-Game).Go to the “Compatibility Patches” folder from this mod, read the READ ME files within the sub-folders and follow the instructions to make PartySwap compatible with these mods. Go to the “Coruscant Jedi Temple Compatibility Patch” folder from this mod, read the READ ME files within the subfolder and follow the instructions to make PartySwap compatible with Coruscant Jedi Temple. Note: The "Source" folder includes the source of the script used by this mod for modders' reference. Ignore the "Source" folder if you only want to install and play this mod. 3. UNINSTALLATION: Run PartySwap Installer.exe and select your KotOR 2 directory where you installed this mod. From the “Tools” dropdown menu, select “Uninstall Mod / Restore Backup”, then confirm to uninstall the mod. You can also choose to delete the backup after uninstalling the mod. 4. KNOWN ISSUES: None currently known. If you find any bugs or issues, please report them by posting on PartySwap’s download page or support thread on the Deadly Stream forums, or contact Leilukin directly. 5. MOD COMPATIBILITY: Apart from The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod (TSLRCM), which is required for this mod to work, any mod that edits Kreia's endgame dialog (904kreia.dlg) or Zuka's dialog on Dxun (zuka.dlg) is incompatible with this mod, unless they merge in installation. In that case, you must install PartySwap first. This mod is not compatible with any other mod that involves putting the holorec.dlg file in the Override folder. If you want to use this mod, make sure you DO NOT have holorec.dlg in your Override folder, or Handmaiden will not be able to join your party when you play a female character! This mod provides compatibility patches for deathdisco’s Coruscant Jedi Temple and danil-ch's Kreia's Fall Cutscene (In-Game). This mod is compatible with KOTOR 2 Community Patch. This mod is compatible with JC2's Train the Handmaiden. This mod is compatible with all Leilukin’s mods for KotOR 2, including the romance mods, as long as you follow the instructions from Leilukin’s mod. If you want to use danil-ch and Darth Hayze’s Extended Enclave, downloading and installing a separate compatibility patch is required to make PartySwap compatible with Extended Enclave. If you use Leilukin’s Handmaiden and Female Exile – Disciple and Male Exile Romance, you need to use the patch included in that mod. Otherwise, go to this page for a standalone compatibility patch: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1304-partyswap-and-extended-enclave-compatibility-patch/ 6. PERMISSION: You may modify this mod for personal use or show this mod in screenshots. However, please do not redistribute or re-host this mod. Do not release your mods containing assets from this mod without permission. 7. ======================================================== A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC II: (THE SITH LORDS) MODIFICATION Liskis Restoration ======================================================== Author: Hassat Hunter PM: Contact me at the Deadly Stream Forums Name: Liskis Restoration Filename: Liskis Restoration 1.0.rar Date Released: 9 June 2016 1. Description: ---------- Small little added content not included in TSLRCM 1.8.5. This restores Liskis, the one who build Goto's Yacht. What is restored/added: * Liskis dialogue was all in the dialog.tlk. I just ordened it into a proper .dlg file. * I've decided for myself which alien type Liskis would be since all left was text. * Placement: Figured near the torture room was most appropriate. 2. Install: ---------- (It is highly recommended that you update your game to version 2.10 (the 1.0b update) before installing this mod. In order to be compatible with TSLRCM, TSLRCM must be installed first.) NOTE: TSLRCM 1.8.5 IS REQUIRED FOR THIS MOD! Extract the "Liskis Restoration" mod, taking care to insure that both the "TSLPatcher.exe" file and "tslpatchdata" folder are extracted to the same folder (these files can be extracted to any folder on your hard drive EXCEPT those within the SWKotOR2 folder hierarchy). Also note that simply copying the files within "tslpatchdata" to your "Override" folder will not properly install the mod. Note: a new folder named "backup" will be created during insanitation within the folder the installer was run from. If you plan on uninstalling this mod this folder and the files therein must not be deleted as they are used during the uninstall process. 3. Uninstall: ---------- The files listed below may have been modified during the installation of this mod: Within "Modules" 351NAR.mod Within "LIPS" 351NAR.mod Backups of any file that was altered were made during insanitation and placed in a folder called "backup" within the folder the installer was run from. 1) To uninstall the mod, open your "Override" folder, located here "C:\Program Files\LucasArts\SWKotOR2\Overide" by default, and delete ONLY the files listed above under the "Override" heading. It may be easiest to find these files by selecting “View” from the toolbar then “Arrange icons by” then “Modified”. This will sort the files by when they were last modified. The files installed by this mod should be grouped together; however, double check that anything you delete is indeed listed above. 2) Next open the "backup" folder that was created during installation and replace the files listed above under each heading with the files contained within. If a file listed above is missing from the "backup" folder, don't worry, it was not present before the install and it does not have to be replaced. 4. Bugs: ---------- There are no known issues that will develop as a result of installing this mod. 5. Distribution Notes: ---------- This mod may not be modified or distributed without the explicit permission of the author. This is just so I know what is being done with it. If you have questions contact me at deadlystream.com/forum/ 6. Thanks: ---------- My thanks go out to: The TSLRCM team... whom whichout I wouldn't become interested in modding TSL, and thus wasting so much on my time on frivilous mods... THIS MODIFICATION IS PROVIDED AS-IS AND IS NOT SUPPORTED BY BIOWARE/OBSIDIAN ENTERTAINMENT OR LUCASARTS OR ANY LICENSERS/SPONSORS OF THE MENTIONED COMPANIES. JC's Toolbox is a collection of items I created to perform various tasks while working in the game. Some I created out of necessity, others were by request, and a few were just for fun. If you're a fellow modder, think of these as developer tools. They can do handy things like add or remove party members, let you change party members whenever you want, open and close doors, play animations, delete objects, clone objects, adjust your alignment, warp, teleport through broken walkmeshes, and much, much more. And for the rest of you, if you were paying attention you might have noticed many of those functions are of a cheating nature. If you just want to mess around with the game, do stuff you can't normally do, you can find something useful here. Like make everyone in the game dance. -

This mod overhauls the appearance and attributes of Rakghoul Fiend; an alpha ghoul found in the Undercity and the Lower Sewers which seem was intended to have an unique demeanor with them. # Background # When facing the Rakghouls in the Undercity and the Lower Sewers, I noticed that few of the raks named as Rakghoul Fiend but I saw nothing unique about them. Well, thought that they need an unique demeanor with them; hence the fruits of labor then. # About this Mod # This modification makes unique appearance for the Rakghoul Fiends [complete with their own unique sound-sets] found in the Undercity and the Lower Sewers, and also bump their attributes by an reasonable imbalance amount. Well, I didn't include a vanilla patch - guess you'll have to deal with them, luls. One aspects of uniqueness from them is they had their body upscaled for ~+20% with different looks compared to the generic ones. Few elements of this v1.0 skin; like the red eye - was inspired from Trex's "The Jedi Masters" Rakghoul, nuff-said - credits to Trex for make it happened. # Final Remarks # There's always room for improvements - critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks for the next update are much appreciated - PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! Installation: run the installer [TSLPatcher.exe] then hit the [Install Mod ->] button! Uninstallation: replace the installed files with what was stored inside the generated 'Backup' folder. Particularly tar_m04aa.mod and tar_m05aa.mod; put these files to the 'modules' folder manually and overwrite when prompted. Also, by keeping the installog after the installation will help you to track which files goes to where. Compatibility: will be compatible with mostly anything - only make sure to install this mod after every mods has. Though haven't being tested with Kainzorus Prime's "[KotOR] NPC Overhaul Mod" and N-DReW25's "K1 Gameplay Improvement" installed, presumably they'll be compatible. But be advised that compatibility issue of this mod working along with them is not yet confirmed. Will not be compatible with any mods that force-overrides tar_m04aa.mod and tar_m05aa.mod or messing with this mod 2DA entries. For this mod to be effective you should at least load a saved game before entering the Undercity [tar_m04aa] and the Lower Sewers [tar_m05aa] module The mod is play-tested with KotOR 1 Restoration/K1R and K1:Community Patch/K1CP installed and is compatible with them Redistribution: for this particular full-version, I'm asking you not to redistribute them - I'd like to stay in touch with so I know where to provide supports. With initial release which is v0.8; I grant permission to redistribute them with usual policy applies. If you are to re-use an assets to a project you will be releasing, you don't have to ask for permission - but your generous intention is very much welcome. I'd love to know what others are up to, particularly if my work are included. And then, make sure to give credits to BioWare & LucasArts with the release - particularly with the inclusion of the assets. An appreciation to this lil' peasant here is also a very warm welcome, welcome. ======================================================== A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC II: (THE SITH LORDS) MODIFICATION Nihilus Zombie's Death ======================================================== Author: Hassat Hunter PM: Contact me at the Deadly Stream Forums Name: Nihilus Zombie's Death Filename: NihZombieDeath.rar Date Released: 22 July 2012 Updated: 8 March 2014 1. Description: ---------- Generally in sci-fi or fantasy once the master is defeated his minions die because he can no longer control them, and his fortress crumbles. While doing that with the Ravager is kind of difficult, this mod does sever the link when the master dies with his minions, and all his zombies you see around start dying off. This mod changes *nothing* about the gameplay, just some little added atmosphere. 2. Install: ---------- (It is highly recommended that you update your game to version 2.10 (the 1.0b update) before installing this mod.) YOU NEED TO USE TSLRCM 1.8.3 FOR THIS MOD. OLDER VERSIONS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE!!! Extract the "Nihilus Zombie's Death" mod, taking care to insure that both the "TSLPatcher.exe" file and "tslpatchdata" folder are extracted to the same folder (these files can be extracted to any folder on your hard drive EXCEPT those within the SWKotOR2 folder hierarchy). 3. Uninstall: ---------- The files listed below may have been modified during the installation of this mod: Within "C:\Program Files\LucasArts\SWKotOR2\Modules" 852NIH.Mod Backups of any file that was altered were made during insanitation and placed in a folder called "backup" within the folder the installer was run from. To uninstall; 1) Open the "backup" folder that was created during installation and replace the files listed above under each heading with the files contained within. 4. Bugs: ---------- There are no known issues that will develop as a result of installing this mod properly. Putting the file from tlspatcher in override will give issues throughout the game (the name "a_end.ncs" is shared with other modules). 5. Patch notes: ---------- * Updated for TSLRCM 1.8.3. * Takes slightly longer before the dying effect starts. * Increased duration between deaths, and now they die 2-by-2 instead of 1-by-1, starting with the closest from Nihilus to the farthest. 6. Distribution Notes: ---------- This mod may not be modified or distributed without the explicit permission of the author. This is just so I know what is being done with it. If you have questions contact me at deadlystream.com/forum/ 7.
