  1. Malkior's Kotor 2 Sound Collection

    This is my first foray into sound editing, so please be gentle.. :'

    The story begins where I really hated the canned sound that the thunder makes when it's playing on Dxun. It may get the job done, but it just sounded so underwhelming to me. I went into a sound editor and added a few bass filters until, voila! I had a thunder not only loud, but with my subwoofer, of a great amount of impact.

    Anyway, after a quick tour of the Kotor 2 sound files, I found a few of the files that I felt needed an audio boost or overall change and changed them. Thus compends this semi-comprehensive collection of all of the sounds I've edited over the years.

    To Install: Just drop whichever files you like into your Override folder

    To Uninstall: Remove the files listed in the TSLPatchData folder from your Override folder

    Compatibility: This is compatible with any mod that doesn't have audio files with the same name

    Permissions: Please let me know if you are going to use these sound files in your mod

  2. [TSL] Twin Sun to Asari

    ============================
    [TSL]Twin Sun to Asari
    ============================
    Author: MrPhil (deadlystream) and Phildevil (Lucasforums)
    Date Released: 28/06/2014

    ------------
    Description:
    ------------
    This is my third Kotor mod. I've always thought the original Twin Sun (the Twi'Lek bounty hunters you encounter on Nar Shadaa) looked featureless and bland.
    Over time, I've requested to various skinners that they do something to improve their appearance,
    but sometimes they told me they did not know what to do, or other times, their work just weren't looking good enough to me, unfortunately. I've had an idea to make them look better:
    make the Twin Suns to have a skin that looks a bit like that of the Asari, some aliens from BioWare franchise Mass Effect. I've spoke of my idea to a few skinners, but they seemed disinclined to make-it happen,
    that's why I decided to create this reskin mod. Poured at least 24 hours in this, spread over a few months.

    -----------
    Thanks:

    I have had a few problems and a lot of help was given to me: thanks to Malkior, SelfInducedComa and Rtas Vadum for their general helpfulness.
    Thanks W4rb1rd for reminding me of the "Lekku" term .
    Thank you Quanon for your UVW mapping. It has been an invaluable tool to make this mod possible and it has reduce the amount of work I've had to do by half!
    Thanks to LDR for your support and for giving me the proper way to test rapidly the changes I've made (changing npc appearance). It has saved me some time, compared to my initial way, which had me go through long cutscenes!
    Thank you Kainzorus Prime for fixing the eyes for me and for the other advice and prod you've given me

  7. Damaged Ebon Hawk mod

    Due the lack of replacement parts and good repair skills, the Ebon Hawk can't be repaired in a few hours by just 3C-FD and T3-M4. They didn't have enough parts and tools, so the Droids just fixed the hole in the garage and repaired the gas leaks in the pipes.

    I made this mod, because I think the Ebon Hawk's damages before Peragus II were too heavy for the ship to look like in Kotor 1 after repair. I replaced almost every mdl and mdx from the default ebon hawk model with the same files from the damaged prologue model. I kekt the original cargo hold and garage, because the garage wouldn't look good, and in the cargo hold, the player would encounter many clipping errors.

    BUGS: in the prologue, if you enter the rooms by opening the doors, every doorframe will be black and dark, this is annoying and doesn't look very realistic, but i can't fix it by now. I will fix it in the possible next version of this mod.

  11. Coruscant Scene No Overlay

    ==== Coruscant Scene No Overlay by Hassat Hunter ====

    Since the start of TSLRCM the mod has added an overlay effect to the cutscene with the Jedi Masters on Coruscant (leaving the Jedi Temple on Telos).
    While this makes sense, since the recording *is* a holo recording, I am of the personal opinion that this time correctness should be overseen.
    As the blue overlay really ruins a lot of the archatecture, the scene, and it's just much better to look at as it was originally.

    This mods disables the overlays, while keeping all the fixes added in TSLRCM, all the way up to TSLRCM 1.8.3.
    This mod contains both overlay-less files for TSLRCM as well as for Handmaiden4Female-Disiciple4Males.

    ==(Un)Install Instructions==
    * Drop holorec.dlg in the override folder. Use the TSRLCM version if using TSLRCM 1.8.3 without Handmaiden4Female-Disiciple4Males. If you do use that mod, use the Handmaiden4Females folder version instead.
    Remove the file from your override to return to the original overlayed cutscene.

  12. Power Cost Correction

    ==== Power Cost Correction by Hassat Hunter ====

    Fixes 3 power cost disrepancies in spells.2da, not fixed in 1.8.3;
    * Master Healing will costs 30 now instead of 25 (same as heal and cure)
    * Master Energy Resistance costs 20 now instead of 15 (same as energy resistance and improved energy resistance).
    * Push costs 25 now instead of 20 (same as whirlwind and wave).

    There are 2 more disrepancies, between the control spells (for sentients and beasts), where the control power costs 10 more than the stun, but this seems intentional. All other trees the 2 or 3 powers have equal costs.

    ==Install Instructions==
    * Drop spells.2da in your override. Backup the original existing file if you want to change back to the original situation.

  14. Camera Angle Options

    N.B.: Although uploaded for TSL, this mod may be used for either KotOR or KotOR II: TSL.

    This mod alters the default camera angles used by the game so that outside dialogues
    and cutscenes, your character will be viewed more distantly, as is more common in RPGs
    like 'NeverWinter Nights', 'Dungeon Siege' and 'Diablo'.

    There are four different options to choose from:

    Option I, No Combat - This option gives you a camera angle slightly closer to the
    character than normal which will show the upper half of your
    character from an angle above the player, but does not affect
    the camera angle while in combat.

    Option I, Combat - The same as above, but does affect the camera angle while in combat.

    Option II, No Combat - The same height, but a greater distance from the character,
    showing the whole of the character. This option does not affect
    the camera angle while in combat.

    Option II, Combat - The same as above, but this option does affect the camera angle while in combat.

  15. Combat Stance Swap

    I made a very similar mod to this a long time ago, but it seems it disappeared with PCGM and I no longer seem to have a copy.

    What it does is swap around the default flourish/stances used for melée weapons - the single blade flourish is replaced with the stun baton flourish and vice versa, the Echani-style flourish replaces the two melée weapon flourish and vice versa, and the double-blade flourish is replaced by the "Natural Attack" (or "Rocky Mode" ) flourish...Just look at the screenshot for details.

  16. Concept Loading Screens

    A very long time ago, a guy called Nur Ab Sal realised that the KotOR II loading screens were ugly, and decided to replace them with the concept art Obsidian drew up, instead.

    He did so, but his mod disappeared when PCGameMods was destroyed, and so I decided to repeat the job myself, because I got bored of the normal loading screens. I couldn't get all the same concept art as Nur Ab Sal, and in a few places had to improvise - nevertheless, where his mod replaced around 28 of roughly 80 loading screens, this mod will replace around 40, and is therefore worthy of release.

    These robes will make you look like Darth Nihilus, and have some very powerful stats.
    They were made on request for somebody, although I forget who now (sorry).
    You can get them in-game on Darth Nihilus'corpse, or by typing into the console 'giveitem a_robe_99'.

    I made this mod a long, long time ago, so the chances are that it's not compatible with TSLRCM.

    cheat it into the game. The code is “giveitem di_forms”, without the quotes.

  20. Modder's Resource: Shuttle

    By JCarter and Darth InSidious

    This isn't a mod so much as a modder's resource.
    JCarter426 discovered a "shuttle interior" in the game files area
    that was never used by Obsidian, and I've made up some module files
    so you can get to it.

    The "module" folder is exclusively for the use of modders, and is not
    needed to make the mod run; it is only if you want to edit things that
    you will need this folder.

  21. Qu Rahn's Lightsaber

    This mod adds a new lightsaber to the game, based on that of Qu Rahn, as seen in the Dark Forces games. It has an animated blade, that shifts colour between blue and green. It must be cheated into the game. The code for the saber crystal is “di_lcrys_12”, without the quotes. There is only a standard lightsaber model – do not attempt to use the crystal in a short or doublesaber, as this will crash your game.

    (It is highly recommended that you update your game to version 2.10 (the 1.0b update) before installing this mod.) Also, TLSRCM is needed for the TSLRCM version to work, otherwise it will abort.

    Extract jinger's "admiralty" mod, taking care to insure that both the "setup.exe" file and "tslpatchdata" folder are extracted to the same folder, which can be anywhere, as long it isn't the main 'SWKotOR2' folder.

    Now extract "TSLRCM Compatibility Patch for jinger's Admiralty Mod" mod to the same folder you extracted "Admiralty" to. You should now have a folder called 'patch files' as well as the previously mentioned "setup.exe" file and "tslpatchdata" folder.

    Open "tslpatchdata" and delete the 'changes.ini" file.

    Now open "patch files" and copy "admiraltslrcm.ini", "admiralvanilla.ini", "info2.rtf", and "namespaces.ini" to the "tslpatchdata" folder.

    Run setup.exe, and you should be given the option of choosing between two versions of the mod, the TSLRCM version and the Vanilla version. Choose one, and install.

    Note: a new folder named "backup" will be created during insanitation within the folder the installer was run from. If you plan on uninstalling this mod this folder and the files therein must not be deleted as they are used during the uninstall process.

    Overview
    ==================
    If you found Carth's cameo to be a little weak, and the minute you saw Cede you were thinking "I know that face," or if you expected an Admiral of the Republic to look better than that, you might appreciate this mod. It's a new appearance for both of them, an Admiral's uniform, like the one we saw on Dodonna in Knights of the Old Republic. Carth shows up in the logs of the Harbinger, in a trasmission to Citadel Station, then later in the game, during the battle of Telos. He also appears in a trasmission from Khoonda, if the Disciple does not join your party. Cede only shows up if you select the dark side ending for KotOR during the first conversation with Atton. If you see a medal on Carth's uniform, that's the Cross of Glory. It was given to him by Admiral Dodonna, for his part in the defeat of Darth Malak and the Sith.

    Installation
    ==================
    TSLPatcher (by Stoffe) will know what to do. Just run the executable and follow the instructions. The mod consists of a few files that will be installed in the override folder, and one module file. It adds two rows to appearance.2da

    Permission
    ==================
    This can be used as long as credit is given.

  25. Darth Sapiens Presents: HD Darth Nihilus

    Hey guys!
    It's been a while since I released something, I haven't been able to mod nearly as much as i'd like to lately, but hopefully you all can forgive me this is a Darth Nihilus skin I did while making a video tutorial series, which i didn't end up getting ready for a release yet, that would go through all of the techniques I used to do it (I know what you are thinking... I am frustrated with myself for not finishing what I start too! lol)
