Mira Kira Carsen Head Replacer with Default Mira's clothing

Would anyone be willing to do a head replacer for Mira that utilizes DarthParametric's Kira Carsen head but retains Mira's default appearance in her armor/clothing?

I have the same outfit on Kira in SWTOR from the Cartel Market, so I wanted to see if this was something possible to do in K2.

You can do it yourself. Just edit appearance.2da in your Override and change Mira's row (456) to use the "normalhead" ID from Kira's added row (past 677 for TSLRCM).

That would change Mira's head to Kira's head, yes?

 

When I reread the request I felt it seemed a little vague.

Either he's asking us to give Mira Kira's head... or he's asking us to give Kira Mira's clothing instead of the default clothing as per your mod.

 

But if @Untold Prophecy DOES in-fact want Mira with Kira's head, I do have an alternative (but longer) method in which he may want to do that:

You are correct, apologies for the confusion. 

I would have attempted going about this myself if I could get the KotorTool working. I've run into issues utilizing it to modify files since I bought a new laptop back in 2018. 

My abilities to work within Kotor's files have atrophied since then too, so I wanted to pose a request.

Try this -- [TSL]_Mira2Kira_[TOR_Ports_Kira_Carsen_FPH_for_TSL_Unofficial_AddOns]_BETA.7z

Since I was trying to refresh my memory on patching I decided to create a patcher-version of the request.

Included are only the installation setup--INI files and the patcher--needed to make Mira appear as Kira.

Be warned though -- pre-installed "TOR Ports: Kira Carsen Female Player Head for TSL" mod is required to proceed with the installation. After that, you can safely run the patcher/Install.EXE.

In case it didn't meet the requirement the patcher will spit a warning message and the installation will be aborted.

I haven't tried it as well--hence the BETA--so for that you have been warned too. 😛

No. Do not do this with models. A model should always be recompiled (or hex edited) to change the OdysseyBase name to match the filename.

@ebmarcan you clarify your edit? So the TSL patcher you linked just swaps the models, it doesn't retain Mira's default clothing for Kira?

Can try, but probably some times later. In case you didn't noticed the one posted above was an epik-fail, lol. I thought you wanted Mira to looked like Kira, so that's that. However, I did include an uninstall option in case you had it earlier and want to revert back the appearance.

Edit: With "TOR Ports: Kira Carsen Female Player Head for TSL" installed, @Untold Prophecy -- what rows are these three labels installed at?
