  8. lol i do my textures in photoshop using there 3d features it makes it super easy to see changes realtime, (it also makes blending seams suuuuper easy XD) but every now and then i have to go ingame to test how the environment mapping plays with the texture

  10. well as a whole i feel media is getting more violent, not just video games, though i dont feel video games alone ever cause a problem such as this, a multidude of factors influence a persons mind, video games being one of them, they have both positive effects and negative effects, i feel video-games desensitize people to violence, blood and gore. does that mean they make murderers, no. the whole world is full of violence, as much as video games are free speech, they have laws on pornography for a reason, it affects people differently depending on there developmental stage, video games should in my opinion be similarly policed, i honestly would never let a child of mine play a rated m game until they demonstrated a certain level of maturity,i mean i know of six year olds playing call of duty and skyrim, right after they pretend to kill each other with guns etc. totally idolizing people, really i dont play video games to kill people, i play for the story, creativity and the wow factor. i personally hate gore in games it turns me right off of a game. i guess the point is that a person with a mental illness can have a hard time with reality and what is not real, the lines get blurred, there are also sick people out there who love to kill. what i find is most killers play video games, most video gamers, almost all, are not killers and couldn't put down a dog let alone kill a person in cold blood.

  12. I'm thinking of releasing a public beta so that I can get a list of things that need work, to really refine it. It also needs to be tslpatcher-ified because it isn't atm As for dialogue, I write (I'm just lazy online XD) but help sounds great, the thing is from what I have seen it is really out of place dialogue, I feel the encounter scenes should be re-worked, atm they are buggy.

  15. So . . . people have requested that I elaborate on my modding plans. 1. I am very busy with real life & school at the moment. (However, some of my schooling includes things applicable to modding ... possibly flowing Jedi robes in kotor 1, for example.) 2. I am also busy with beta testing the M4-78 EP. 3. Don't forget the Czerka R&D Wiki! I have some things I need to get done for it. 4. Though the GenoHaradan mod is compatible with TSLRCM, it is IMHO an unpolished mod. I feel before I can release it it needs a fair bit of polishing. Exile007 did a great job but the assassins need some more aesthetic work, the cutscenes don't seem to trigger themselves, and the dialogue needs some editing. (As it currently stands, it sounds somewhat corny.) I have no release date at the moment but I would like to have it M4-78 EP & TSLRCM - compatible and polished up by the end of January.
  16. anything modding related, there are these "lab:" pages where you can post any findings on a subject how ever you like, we have actual articles, we need to make a modding tool list, tutorials are always welcome while we wont host mods, major mod projects, and modders all can have there personal page with links to all there mods on them, really in the end it is a wiki, post what you want, the community well mold it, reformat it, explain it, until it reaches the best it can be. that is the whole reason i started the contest to grow a community, true it allready exists, but the wiki helps grow it further. the cool thing is, it creates an easy way for a noob to start modding, (only modding myself from about 5 months ago) and also helps us develop theories, things we didnt know were possible all of a sudden become possible, i recently found out about the main menu using two different logos, on the site we are compiling the known txi information, something that was previously scattered over a number of different threads on multiple forums. as sad as it may be communities do fizzle-out, people move-on, sites go-under, so i thought it would be a good idea to make this to also prevent any loss of knowledge, i know LF is super popular and there is a lot of information on modding overthere, but what would happen if one day it weant down and didn't come back ? all that information is lost. sorry for the long post i just got writing... XD

      XD i am going to do it still but the mod feels incomplete it well be compatiblized after m478 is released (i dont feel like making two patches and as i know beta test for m4-78 it deserves more of my attention)
