Some games don’t need to be remade.

Does anyone remember the name/link of a video response that was posted here to the Critical Philosophy of Kreia video? Can't seem to find it anywhere.

Thrilled I was able to see A New Hope in the cinemas for the first time! Now I know what it was like in 1977!

Excited to announce that I just got accepted to grad school! Not bad for a guy who almost flunked out of college 3 years ago. It's really humbling; I'm truly grateful.

I hereby refrain from making any April Fool's jokes this year. This is the way.

I have zero motivation to do any of my coursework online.

I would like to use Sith War Droids HD - 4X Upscaled Texture from NexusMods but I hear the author's mods all have issues with alphas. If anyone can suggest how I can correct this myself using GIMP (as I don't have PS), I'd like that.

I love how uni thinks it's cute to have 3 research essays all due within 4 days of each other...

I get unnecessarily peeved with thread bumps.

To all my friends that I have made over the years on this site, I cannot begin to tell you how much your friendship has meant to me. Unfortunately, my activity on Deadly Stream will be ceasing to a halt (aside from the occasional download) due to having orders from the United States Navy. OCS here I come!

This landing zone in old screen shots doesn't look familiar to me. Is it an older version of one of the planets?

So I was looking through my old copy of Halo 2 and saw in the manual that Kevin Michael Richardson, the actor who voiced Jolee, also played the Brute Chieftain Tartarus. He does a lot of VO work.
(Random fact- tartarus is also the Greek abyss of torment and suffering.)

Should I update my Replacement Loading Screens (Part 2) package so I can replace this . . .
. . . with this?

I mean, came you blame him though? He was knifed in the back - didn't even get a chance to do 2 years as PM.
History tells us that when this sort of thing happens, unless one of the contenders departs all together (Peacock vis a-vis Howard) there is no bloodless resolution unfortunately.
Well...whatever happens, we certainly lose. Just a whole damn parlor game.

Turnbull (or whomever is the PM) would be mad to call an early election - you don't call an early election if you think you're going to lose. The media is talking up Morrison's chances but he, like Bishop, has hitched his wagon to Turnbull and so unless the ego-driven Malcolm preemptively resigns and endorses one of them (unlikely), then I agree - they've no chance.
As someone who used to be a member of the Liberal Party I can say that I'd gladly take one term of Bill and teach the Libs a lesson than have another term of such an unassertive, weak and drifting government. And the country better for it.
At this point I agree with Joyce - time to bring back John Howard.

Still can’t wrap my mind around why they gave Juhani a male name.

Today is the 49th anniversary of the moon landing, July 20 1969. Kind of lame how far behind we are in space travel. When I was a kid growing up with the early days of the Shuttle program, having models of it hanging from the ceiling of my bedroom, I figured we'd well and truly have giant space stations and moon/Mars colonies by this point.
