Anyone play Jade Empire: Special Edition for the PC? I want to try another BioWare game that will run on my PC built for older games. From the looks of it, JE hangs on the very edge of what my PC is capable of. Sad, I know.

Yeah I just took out the textures I liked from the extracted files and deleted all the rest.

So I downloaded the mod and extracted the files without having used them in-game yet... The size of the individual texture files are HUGE....like upwards to 2048x2048x32!

Found this small mod on KotOR Files: http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/Shaleena;117382 The author, Jedi Raven, found the real appearance for Shaleena in the game's files. For some reason, it was not used in the final retail version. Would this be something y'all would consider restoring?

I have a similar background as you. I started playing KOTOR in 2010 after having purchased it a few years before then but not liking it at first. The game got me hooked from that point on. I also heard mixed reviews about TSL, but I found out about TSLRCM which was in 1.5 at the time. This made me want to purchase the game, but I could not find it anywhere until I went to a Target and found a few copies still in stock. From the first time I installed TSL, I always had TSLRCM installed right after because I wanted the full story and more bang for my buck. My advice is to avoid the vanilla version and play with TSLRCM right away. That will ensure you feeling like you're playing a polished and completed game.

Class Clothing was the issue. Problem resolved!

I was surfing around moddb and came across this http://www.moddb.com/mods/kotor-ultimate It is a significant retexture/remodeling mod that deals with a few of the modules, lightsabers, blasters, and adds some new content as well. It looks like the KotOR equivalent of TSLMIM by Drewton. Anybody ever use it in a playthrough? It kind of makes me want to play KotOR again because I love higher resolution textures in-game.

Does the PC receive dark side points for requesting the statue to be built? It is self-promotion/self-serving and would be contrary to Jedi principles after all.

Are HOTOR and the Ultimate Appearance Upgrade compatible? Did you notice any file conflicts?

Some of the Serrocco thugs are wearing the default Jedi Guardian clothing instead of their normal green armor. Even then, it looks glitched up. It is only happening with one of the Asian heads at the character select screen as well. I have attached a screenshot. Any ideas as to why this is occurring? Some possible mods I have that could cause the issue: Class Clothing DarthDeadman's Master Robes 1.5 Better Male Bodies

Twice this year, I have walked into a Target and found TSL being sold all by its lonesome for $20. It's amazing how long of a shelf life it has. If you still haven't picked up a copy, just run to your local Target, and it may very well be there. With all the forthcoming super mods, now is as good a time as any to pick one up!

Good stuff. Not good enough to get me to play the game, but it is very interesting to see nonetheless.
