Alternatively, a secondary installer has been made for convenience. It will not patch the files like the TSL Patcher will, but it should be less of a headache for most users. HOWEVER, IT WILL NEED TO BE INSTALLED BEFORE ANY OTHER MODS!!! Note: The K1R team is not responsible for any incompatibility issues that may arise from the use of this mod in conjunction with other mods. Also, in order to provide the best feedback for us we recommend that you play K1R with NO other mods installed. A: Because either it couldn't be made to fit in with the game's plot or layout, or it would have taken up too much time that we needed for the base mod, or it isn't possible with our current tools. Q: Why does this mod contain custom content? I thought this was a restoration mod! A: It is a restoration mod. The reason there is some custom content is because Bioware left much of the things that were cut unfinished and thus it required custom content to finish it (for example, Major Hurka on the Leviathan). Q: Is this mod compatible with Brotherhood of Shadow? A: By all reports, the two mods should be compatible, though we haven't received any news of a full playthrough... This is random and rarely happens but it can. It is strongly advised to save before that scene.
  3. K1R 1.0 Vulkar Base FAQ. Q: I am stuck in the Vulkar Base help!!! A: Have you tried the following? 1. Asking the old mechanic what is wrong with the heat in the place after you have used the mechanic ID card? 2. Looting every single corpse? 3. Have you gotten the items out of Vict Jaxx's locker? 4. Checked your journal for advice? 5. Wandered around a bit on the 2nd floor of the Vulkar Base after using the mechanic ID in order to trigger a cutscene? 6. Have you gotten the items out of Caalin's Strongbox located near his desk? Q: Why did you remove the Twilek on the first level? A: Because the new guy (that the Twilek replaced in vanilla) fits better with the sub-level now existing but seeing as how there is nothing wrong with the Twilek we may add him back in a future update.
  4. Wow right when I was playing through TSLRCM 1.8.3/M4-78 EP 1.1 this hit! Well time to install the latest versions over their slightly older counterparts as from what I gather it should be safe. Thanks for the shout out to K1R by the way Hassat Hunter!

  8. I have seen this issue come up A LOT lately where you cannot get pass the Sith guard wearing a single uniform. This *IS* intentional you need to get the other uniform for Carth or alternatively take Carth out of the party. -ZM90
  9. You can pretty safely uninstall most mods without negative consequences as far as I understand that does depend on what the mod does though so I would check what the mod does first. Off Topic: I got my Wii U around launch it's gotten really good this year with Mario Kart, Bayonetta 2, Hyrule Warriors, and Smash Bros. though. As for Xenoblade it's one of my favorite games of all time and it definitely makes my top 10 list along with KotOR, Dragon Age: Origins, and Ocarina of Time.
  10. Off topic but did you 100% Xenoblade? I did and it was quite the long journey. Currently playing Super Smash Bros. 4 Wii U. My mains are Shulk, Link, Toon Link, Sonic, and Robin.
  11. I wouldn't use NPC overhaul mod with K1R because as we learned the past few days they are highly incompatible so it's one or the other unless either the K1R team or Kainzorous Prime make a compatibility patch but one of us has to get permission to do so first.

There's restoration mods for both KotOR1 and TSL in the vein of K1R (KotOR1 Restoration) and TSLRCM (this might be a bit of bias on my part being the leader of K1R and all but I highly recommend both mods as essential). There is also a mod here known as M4-78 EP which adds a entire cut planet to TSL. Also props for your avatar, loving Zelda U myself and am looking forward to playing it.
  13. Haven't even watched it. I am only here to voice my hatred for what Di$ney did to the EU. From what I understand though is not only is Di$ney saying "Screw you!" to long time fans but to logic as well.

  15. You can use it for your own content. There is nothing to restore there.
  16. We are very much aware of this bug's existence and seeing as how it is blocking out a piece of content (Bastila pledging to be Revan's lover) we will do our best to address the bug in 1.0. That is not to say every bug will be addressed in 1.0 but this is definitely on the list due to it blocking out content, content that due to the bug a lot of people never see.
  17. I have a announcement to make. The Manaan Pazzak Tournament is finished. We are about to enter the bug fixing and polishing state. Here's a little teaser for you all it's a video from Fair Strides of a part of the Pazzak Tourney and it includes a good shot of the Holo-Roster.
  18. I have thought of that and we will probably do something like that once all K1R expansions are done/released so it will end up being sort of like a ultimate edition for K1R.
  19. Bastila on Korriban will be released on the same day K1R is released as a expansion and others will come at a later date.
  20. You will all be happy to know that the Pazzak Tournament is 99% done and will be done within the next few days. We are then going to move to the polishing/bug fixing state. There is still no official release date yet but stay tuned, who knows we *might* surprise you.
  21. You guys would have the mod in your hands already if it weren't for the Pazaak Tournament but I basically said that K1R wouldn't be complete without the tourney so it must be in 1.0. So yeah you can blame the delays on my insistence of the Pazaak Tourney, I think you will find the delays have been well worth it though. Apologies for the continued wait guys.
  22. No, to do that we would be taking out a critical piece of the mod. Also there wouldn't be near as much content if we did it on that basis. K1 is a different story from TSL and must be treated differently. Think of K1R as somewhere inbetween the lines of TSLRCM and M4-78 but for K1.
  23. @Fair Strides: To be fair I am pretty decent at scripting just wouldn't know much of what to script for the Pazzak Tourney nor am I on the level of you or FG when it comes to that. @Everyone else: It is coming. There has been a bit of a delay but it is coming, don't worry. Also I proudly made the decks for the tournament's best players so if you guys lose then you can blame me, just putting that out there.

  25. I am going to go on record and say I would have absolutely zero problems with porting as long as a installer is used that requires the user to own both games. In fact I thought of some really cool ideas like "What if K1 was remade with K2's engine?". Although as a moderator I will still have to keep doing my job and stopping porting around here even if I don't agree with it personally, we all have to follow rules we do not agree with at times. Anyway these are just my two cents to add to the discussion.
