Are you using a no-CD hacked .exe? Anyway, I just loaded up a swoop and it said 'press F to forfeit' so that's not the mod.

Because it screws up your teammates that were there at the time, which would need to talk on the EH. They can't, game gets stuck.

It's caused by a glitch in the fighting with Handmaidens, if you "cheat" and prematurely end the combat. So either avoid fighting, or stick to the rules applied and you should not get the black screen...

You probably used the old 1.4 version, which is, well, outdated. 1.6A (the most recent) comes with an .exe installer, all you need to do is double-click it, point it to where KOTOR is installed, done.

I don't know, I just work with the PC version. That there are differences I noticed when VP and me noticed a line was different in the HK-factory. Some people also claim Kreia's skill lesson works there, but I don't know whether they are just delusional like PC gamers who claim that, or it really actually works there...

Well, vanilla 000glblreact.dlg was a mess, so yeah, various fixes. Like being able to hear Hanharr respond on cunning acts (previously only Kreia and Visas), a few teammate lines that couldn't be triggered, never being able to gain INF more than once through DS acts with Mandalore and other stuff like that. And, obviously, it fixes all infinite INF gain/loss exploits know out there.

That was the original intention (allowing them (I think) to walk around Goto's yacht freely and chat up the 50's and Zhugs etc.), not the way it is ended in the mod.

I don't think the NS fix is supposed to modify the .tlk, but... Have you tried using the regular .tlk if you happen to use the improved version from here? You can switch back if it installs then...

The lines are: 231231sentry001: "Oof. If we have come down any faster, we could have hit that shield wall. Good thing I am such a crack pilot, eh?" (actually, we probably could work this in, not sure why it ain't. Not at the start as it should though since Atton is still passed out.). 231231sentry006 is interesting too: "And I can't see Jano Lorso having us shot down in a shuttle she gave us by a bunch of scientists"... I don't think it's used right? 231231sentry007: "Damn that Corun Falt. He probably wanted to see if he could tie up some loose ends. Less people to ask questions"... doesn't make sense in the context of the game as is, even if the mercs at the console mention Falt too. 231231sentry008 (Kreia): "I did not sense that was intention. Most probably they were supposed to run between the .bik's, which is the reason they are so many seperate movies instead of one big one. And the plateau: 261ATTONCUT001: "Well, this can't be any worse than last time." 261ATTONCUT002: "So that's the hole in the shield network, huh. Doesn't look like much to me." 261ATTONCUT003: "You've got to be kidding me, it's not my fault."

So are many others that are not run in the game (Traya-Atris being a prime example) and still wont be with TSLRCM. Actually we already took out the "Not my fault this time" line by Atton that run there as well in 1.0, don't see why we can't do the same with this if it makes no sense. Also solves the issue that there is no "her" variation so the Exile is always identified as male.

In this case I vote for deletion of the line though. But that's just me. And I guess you never played Baldur's Gate II then? Or Dungeons & Dragons (2nd edition)?

Well, since I needed to upload it anyway I replaced the .tlk file therein from the one hosted on this site with the most recent version we have (It probably will get a few more tweaks before 1.7 though). RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting - Easy Filehosting Also, as stated in the installation instructions you really shouldn't drop it in the override folder. It might work, but it would be better if you just placed it in the main folder, backing up the original (If desired).

What mines? Anyway, I rather delete the line, considering the difficulty there is inconsistent as it is. One time the HK's kill you in no time, the other time vice-versa. Mines and self-destruction really wouldn't help this.

You know USM is incompatible yet, right? Anyway, got a savegame?
