Well I must be doing something horribly wrong, when I try to export with the one under OdysseyBase, I get the following message: Once I've converted it, here is what it looks like ingame : Horrible. I then proceeded to delete the animations I had imported for the skinning, and here's what I got. Obviously it's way too small, also it just remains it in T-pose, animations don't work (I assume because I've deleted them sigh). Also, the texture is still from the one from the PMBAM model, even though I placed the correct one in the Override folder.. What is the exact step by step process to export a model? I must have the basics of it completely wrong.

Hey everyone. I have made a request a few days ago for a certain model from a Jedi Academy mod. As far as I know, no one responded to it so I decided to give it a try myself. I've never used 3dsMax before but I know a few basics on Blender, so when I saw the KotorBlender plugin, I figured it would be feasible. Basically, I used Blender to modify and adapt the model to KoTOR's rig. Once that was done, I imported the model into 3DS Max and did the skinning part in that program as apparently KoTORBlender doesn't support it yet. So now the skinning is done and the model looks good except maybe for the shoulders. They were way too small in the original model so I had them modified to be closer to those of KoTOR's male body model. I tried to make the deformation look good as possible, won't be able to do any better. Anyway, the thing is that I'm currently confused as to what the next step is. If everything is done, I would guess it's time to export it to the game but when I try to export, I get the following message: Surely there a few things I must to first before being able to export. Would someone mind help me get through this process? Please bear in mind that I'm a complete beginner, all I had achieved until now is create an item using Kotortool.

I always liked how Luke was dressed in Return of the Jedi, I think it might fit well for a Grey Jedi kind of playthrough. For those who played Jedi Knight : Jedi Academy, Toshi made a really nice model of that particular outfit. Here's the one I mean, as it is in EA's Battlefront 2. Someone else made a thread about it a while ago and had the original modder's approval. I figured with the new rules and modding tools, this might be a good time to make a new request for it.

I was about to make a similar request and found a link to this thread after a quick search. Is there someone willing to pick this up and do the skinning part? With the new ports from TOR coming in, I was thinking there must be someone who has the required skills. Just a thought ofc.

The sequels surely have their problems but I'm starting to really like Kylo Ren. The "freeze" force power he uses in TFA already kinda exists as stasis, but what about his Force pull (that we also can use in the recent Battlefront 2)? I don't think something similar already exists in KoTOR. To develop further, maybe the next tiers of the force power could influence on the number of enemies being pulled when using the ability on the main victim (similar to the last tier of Force push being Force wave IIRC). As for implementing it, well I don't know much about modding but wouldn't it be basically a reverse force push? What do you guys think?

How I felt after watching the movie : *R. Johnson tries to kill the franchise* Star Wars : "The attempt on my life has left me scarred and deformed, but I assure you my resolve has never been stronger." I wasn't especially amazed by TFA even if I did think it was good, but I really hope Abrams will find a way to fix the mess Ryan Johnson left behind in terms plot. Snoke, most powerful being ever? Nah, let's have his apprentice will him in the most ridiculous way. Let's create a thick mystery around Rey's lineage. Nah, she's just nobody who turns out to be the most powerful Jedi ever without any training. Luke, who brought one of the most corrupted and evil force user back to the light, considers, even for a brief second, to kill the son of his sister and his best friend because he senses darkness in him. Luke, after Kylo destroyed the new Jedi Order, exiles to an unknown planet and leaves a map that leads there in R2. Nah, he went there because he wanted to die and nobody to find him. No attempt has been made to make the First Order look even a little less ridiculous and incompetent. The hole plot of Finn and Rose could have been avoided if Amiral Holdo cared enough to share the plan to the crew or even just Poe Dameron. There's a bunch of things this movie did incredibly right, but I can't forgive those poor mistakes. I didn't care about Rey being a Mary Sue in TFA because I just assumed it would be given a reasonable why in the next movie. Shame, Disney, shame.

I tried several times to skin models to put them into Kotor and always failed miserably. I had watched some tutorials on skinning in 3DS Max: it doesn't seem to be hard, but just a long and tedious process. Maybe a proper tutorial on how to import the skeleton and animations from KoTOR and then exporting the finished model back into the game would be more appropriate?

Sooo.. it's still kinda better to make it a disguise, right ?

I'm currently looking to create a Knights of Ren inspired party for my next walkthrough (TSL) and noticed there's a serious lack of full-face helmets. I particularly like the Seventh Sister's helmet. Inquisitors might be a bit goofy, but she does look badass. I don't know much about modding, but to my understanding full helmets need to be a disguise or something like that ? I think that helmet paired with the female Sith officer model should work well. It would simply need a black retexture. Again, I don't know much so I might as well be completely wrong.
