  1. I'm looking forward to another ANH remake. This time, with Death Star NOT blowing up!
  2. I think Cavill would be great as Superman, it's just that those movies don't let him be a Superman. Even when they showed the montage of him saving bunch of people (with news VO over it), they made it overly dramatic and dark, instead of giving the feeling of "hooray, it's Superman, he's going to save us!". Which they really should have done to contrast Batman part of the story, because the way BvS showed them they're not that different from each other. I've seen airline commercials with better Superman and Luthor than BvS. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TReIozZ1b10 I agree that the visions/dreams were confusing. Cutting them and Flash/Cyborg/Aquaman out of the movie would probably make it better. MOS focused on a relationship, what? All it focused on was punching. Oh, that's true, I forgot about the music. I thought some of the tracks were pretty bad, especially the electric music when Wondar Woman showed up to fight Doomsday. Man I could watch a whole season of Daredevil just talking to Punisher on a rooftop.
  3. Hey, any chance for a transcript of your conversation? Or at least of some highlights?
  4. Yeah, I assumed those were the bullets fired AT Batman, not by him. I don't recall dead bodies or people on the floor but I'd argue they were unconscious unless stated otherwise. By the way I thought it was hilarious how they had an action scene of Batman chasing that truck with Kryptonite on it, but then he stole it off-camera.
  5. Hey, I don't even disagree. As I said, everyone went full retard about 1/3rd of the way into the movie, but Superman vs Batman fun enough that I didn't really care. Who did he murder without using a car or a plane? Are you talking about guys who guarded Superman's mom at the end? Because he did not kill them. Even when he stabbed some guy with a knife, he stabbed him in a shoulder. The others were just beat up really badly. One shot he fired was to blow up the guy with the fire thrower, but then they went all Marvel and diffused the tension with the cape joke. That Batman is perfection anyway compared to what happened to Superman. Also: "SUICIDE SQUAD Is Apparently Undergoing Reshoots To Inject More "Fun" Into the Movie" http://www.comicbookmovie.com/suicide_squad/suicide-squad-is-apparently-undergoing-reshoots-to-inject-more-fun-a132865 hahaha hilarious if true.
  6. I've heard A LOT of negativity around BvS over the weekend and expected a truly terrible movie, but to be honest I'm not sure why people hate it so much. I liked most of it just fine, but Luthor was too retarded. Seriously what the hell was his plan? Re: "BvS vs Civil War" - well, if CW is on the same level as Winter Soldier then they win. Otherwise, it might be a tie honestly. We'll see. The beginning was fine, but the editing was kinda confusing at times. It felt like they shot bunch of scenes and then put them together in a random order to be honest. Loved the way Bruce acted around people at Lex's party. Superman should have been more fun, or at least smiled a little. And he should have talked to someone. Seriously, every major problem in the movie could have been avoided if Superman just talked and explained himself. On camera, in the hearing, wherever. OK, I'm gonna spoil pretty much the entire movie below, so be warned. The movie would really benefit if they cut out Bruce's visions, they were confusing and didn't add to anything. Are they trying to set up Injustice storyline? And then Flashpoint-reboot it a year later? Because that's exactly what X-Men did. And when did Flash gain an ability to time travel into dreams? Anyway, sometime around the time Lex kidnapped Martha and Lois everyone became super retarded (except Wonder Woman, she's awesome), but it was still fun to watch. It kinda started feeling like a darker Marvel movie. And by darker, I don't mean the tone, I mean it was literally dark, but hey that's Gotham. They even had some stupid one liners (the cape joke was good). Did Batman seriously just stand on the roof for an hour hoping for Supes to show up and fight him? And it doesn't even matter Luthor has Superman's mom, she could be found in 10 seconds anyway. And the whole fight could have been over in 10 seconds. Just hover over Batman, tell him what's up, go save your mom. And the end of the fight was... wellllllllll I wish my mom's name was Martha. But despite that, it was still fun to watch until Doomsday showed up. I'm not really sure what happened afterwards because I spent the entire fight trying to figure out what was Luthor's plan, because if he killed Supes, number of Kryptonians on Earth would still be the same... except we'd be left with one that can't talk and just wants to smash. Good job killing Superman before the Justice League by the way. LOL. I've heard so many complaints about Batman killing in this movie that I thought he would really be a psycho murderer, but honestly his "killings" weren't any worse than Batmobile segments of Arkham Knight so I don't know what the big deal is. But yeah, it was fine. I just hope for an actual SUPERMAN movie sometime down the line. But not... not this threatening Superman, just something colorful and hopeful. Kinda like The Flash or Supergirl TV series. Hey, don't these two have a crossover tonight? Looking forward to that.
  7. Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. HK-01 reference was just an easter egg. Later on you can learn that the droids have been on M4-78 for around 64 years. HK-47 didn't exist in that time, but HK-01 did, so a droid wasn't familiar with any other HK models. Unfortunately, there's no way for ES-05 not to lose her memory at the end.
  8. I'm confused now, whether they're fighting mostly over Bucky, or it's more of the governmental control vs freedom thing. If it's mostly the latter, then it would probably work better if their roles were switched, and they had Cap going "by the book" and following a chain of command, like a good soldier would, with Iron Man going a more vigilante route. I'm really curious how the movie is going to end. With BvS, we know they'll make up at the end to fight a bigger threat, but I don't see that happening in Civil War. Nice to have a comic book movie where I don't know what the ending will be. Also, Ant-man on Hawkeye's arrow was awesome. I was waiting for Arrow to pull that one ever since they introduced the Atom.
  9. Get TLK Editor, open your dialog.tlk, change language ID to English. That should solve all of your problems. Well, then you'd run into same problems with mods designed for German version.
  10. Hey, personally I'd love to chat with them just to find out if they have someone competent on the team and then explain to them why this project isn't going to be finished. Then maybe they'd go on and use their skills to work on something more realistic. They're probably a bunch of freshman college students who just don't know any better. And I only mean "more realistic" skill/time/commitment wise, I don't care for porting or licensing, which you guys seem to talk about a lot, because those aren't real reasons why it'll fail. You cut out the guy he was replying to, by the way, but I assume someone asked them if they'd remake TSL? Because that's even more hilarious
  11. To be completely fair, levels don't look terrible. If I was looking for a 3D area designer and some guy showed me that "Taris Upper Level" or "Anchorhead" (there's a reason for those quotation marks ), I would consider hiring him. With that said, that's all it is. Unreal has a very good level editing tool and they haven't actually shown any gameplay, just some levels. Which brings us back to what I believe was my first post in this thread, stating that they won't even start programming half the features KOTOR had. Nah, no way we would have finished a whole game back then. Nowadays it would be possible, though I'd still be very hesitant to starting a low-budget RPG. Mostly because I know how much work it actually involves, and realize that it would take even more time than I could possibly anticipate. I can literally get more gameplay done in a single weekend, with some placeholder models. in an hour because all they have is Unreal's default walking animation.
  12. I only read a first post and can't bother reading 5 pages so I don't have a full picture of what's going on, but we're not removing TSLRCM from workshop, definitely not just because you have issues with some trading cards. It's the easiest way to install and most effective way for us to quickly update the mod of hundreds of thousands of people and removing it would be silly, unprofessional and just plain mean to those who use it. I know thread is locked but I couldn't comment on the matter earlier, and I want my position to be clear.
  13. Party members' UTCs are in BIFs, not MODs. If you modify them they should be compatible as long as you keep the same tag and template resref.
  14. There's no reason for Disney to send a C&D because it's never going to be finished anyway. I bet they won't even start programming half of the features KOTOR had. People who actually have the skill to pull off this kind of project wouldn't bother, because they'd know they can make a more productive use of their time by doing literally anything else (like making their own game and getting something out of it).
  15. From droid's perspective the whole purpose of the Central Zone is to house the main droid intelligence, the M4-78. He probably requires a lot of power to run, so I imagine there's a powerful electric grid under the whole Central Zone. As far as the colonists are concerned, Central Zone should basically link landing pads with the rest of the colony. That's why there are information droids there. I wouldn't put advertisement booths or anything else like that because I don't want it to feel like a place for people to live. I wanted a strange, droid only look. Also, the planet's main purpose, as far as the Sith are concerned, was the production of the droid army. So they basically treat the colony as one giant factory. They probably have a living section somewhere, and you can probably take a train there from the Central Zone. But they wouldn't live in the Industrial Zone which is construction-only section, and ES-05 says they never cared for the Environmental Zone. Doesn't it feel like a factory overtaken by the Sith, though? Building the droid army, coming up with weird combat droid upgrades, having guard turrets everywhere? By the way I don't know how many people actually noticed that, but it's implied there were more many turrets in the Industrial Zone before the first accident with Kaah. They removed them after I1-01 was destroyed by one. That is true. Who the real colonists were was never explained. There were some subtle hints. But seeing how they've been there for few years now, they would have had time to change things more to their liking.
  16. There's some true to that. I agree that "lifeless" isn't the best word since it's intended to be, but I know what you meant. Central Zone doesn't really serve much purpose to the droids, but I always figured that's just what links the rest of the colony with landing arms, hence the information units. And the Main Core, obviously, so I suppose there's some big computer right under it. I don't think we ever really figured out what each section of the Environmental Zone would do at all, though. I tried to explain some things if you walk through it after meeting ES-05, but that's just mostly random NPCs I was coming up with as I went along, just to have something in each section. Second half of the Industrial Zone was probably the best that way since we (or at least JC, who came up with most of the second half's main quest) actually figured out what each room's purpose could be before designing its quests.
  17. You skipped Kreia's Arrival cut-scene? I still remember how impressive it was, with Sion appearing behind her... I think it was one of the first cut-scenes you guys made that I saw and I was (still am) extremely impressed by camera work. Certainly some of the best I've ever seen in KOTOR. By the way I'm pretty sure I was the guy who originally made Malachor scene with Visas and Mandalor, not Stoney or TSLRP The video has been on my youtube channel for years. Looking forward to part 2.
  18. Looks like I somehow corrupted Atris' Academy module. I don't know how since there weren't any changes made to it recently... but I'm trying to fix it now and we'll put a fix out SOON. Sorry for the inconvenience. OK I fixed the issue. Uploaded a new EXE to deadlystream, Hassat should update the Steam version as well shortly.
  19. First I heard someone mention it but yeah, due to the way game moves NPCs you can go behind pretty much any closed door whenever you'd like. You could probably enter HK Factory that way on your first visit to Telos with TSLRCM. It's not worth fixing though given the amount of work it'd require versus amount of people who will ever run into it.

    WTF Steam?

Sure, not everyone can be persuaded, but there's no reason to tell it checks your persuasion skill when it actually doesn't. Just leave it as a regular option, without word [Persuade] at the beginning. (in the perfect world, we'd get rid of information about skill checks altogether as to not suggest which option is "better", but that would be a topic for another discussion)

    WTF Steam?

I only read first few pots but to be fair, I agree with some things he said. Don't say it's [Persuade] option if it doesn't check your persuasion. That's lying about a skill check that's not actually there. That's stupid and pointless. I checked the DLG and that option will appear there no matter what, and fail no matter what. None skill has anything to do with it. Whole conversation is a lie. With Force Persuade it's different because you can play with people being resistant to it like the what's-his-name Toyadarian in Episode I. Or Azkul in KOTOR II. But lying about skill checks makes no sense.
  22. New text won't display, and conversations that use both dialog.tlk and custom strings will break altogether and give "broken conversation, contact the designer" error that people post about here every now and then. The easiest way to get play the mod is to get TLK Editor and use it to open KOTOR II's dialog.tlk file and change language ID to English for as long as you're on M4-78.. and Korriban Academy too, I suppose. You'll have to change it back to whatever your game's language was supposed to be, when you leave the droid's planet, though.
