  1. TOR Ports: Kira Carsen Female Player Head for TSL

This mod adds the head model of the Jedi Knight companion Kira Carsen from The Old Republic MMO, ported to TSL as a selectable player head for female characters. TOR uses the same base head mesh for Kira and Meetra Surik, so this was basically a two-for-one deal since the most difficult part is reskinning the face.
    A few notes:
While aligned as closely as possible, the neckline probably won't match perfectly. Expect some visible gaps on body models that don't hide the join. The TOR head models use separate textures for the face, eyes, and hair. In order to allow for DS transitions, these had to be merged together (and the UVs adjusted to match). The eyes are the big loser in this. They went from having their own dedicated 256x256 texture to being shrunk down to a corner where they could be squeezed in. An additional consequence of the texture merge is no normal maps, due to the hair requiring alpha masking. TOR heavily relies on tint mapping textures for variation - skin tone, hair colour, eye colour, etc. Unfortunately, while the tint colours are available in the material files, the specifics of their shaders are currently unknown to me, so the best I can do is experiment with various blend modes to approximate the look. It may require some further experimentation and kludging. Not even having specularity, much less the advanced (by comparison) graphical features of TOR, expect textures to look pretty flat by comparison to the originals. KOTOR has a maximum bone limit per mesh of 16. This creates a problem for TOR meshes, as adding the eyelids to the face bone array pushes that to 18. I had to drop 2 bones to make it work. I chose the two nose corner bones, as they seemed the least important. I don't know what effect this may have on various facial animations though. The hair meshes are currently completely rigid. Possibly I may add a danglymesh version in a future update. Dark Side transitions are included, but they are relatively mild. I'm not a big fan of the zombie look. Installation
If you are using TSLRCM or the hybrid TSLRCM + M4-78 from the Steam Workshop, make sure to choose its Workshop folder as the installation location, not the main game folder.

  7. Peragus Administration Level Room Model Fixes

This mod addresses some minor geometry issues in the Peragus Administration level. It plugs two gaps in the ceiling that allow the player to see into space, and it also adjusts one of the animated panels on the large screen in the communications blister so that it aligns better. The panel and one of the ceiling fixes are for the exterior version of the level that you see from the maintenance walkway.
    Installation:
Simply copy and paste the included model files into your Override folder Compatibility:
Should be compatible with just about everything, but it won't be compatible with any mod that replaces room models 101PERI.mdl/mdx, 104PERA.mdl/mdx, or 104PERF.mdl/mdx Acknowledgements:
Thanks to bead-v for KOTORMax and MDLEdit Thanks to Snigaroo for bringing the two ceiling gap issues to my attention

  8. Party Time Sith - DS Player Main Menu Replacement for TSL

This mod changes the main menu variant featuring the Dark Side player (CurSithLord=4). The original version of the mod used the dancing Twi'lek Assassins from the Easter Egg menu. The revised version now adds two additional options featuring Dark Side versions of certain party members.

    Mira, Visas, and Brianna:

    Mira and Visas:

    Twi'lek Assassins:

As per my TSL Main Menu Model Fix for Widescreen mod, fixes/adjustments for widescreen aspect ratios have now been incorporated into this mod. I would advise installing that mod first to gain access to the improvements in the other menus. Additionally, I have adjusted one of the dancing animations used in the menu (by Mira and the light coloured Twi'lek) to fix an issue at the end of the animation loop where there was a pause for a few frames which caused some noticeable jankiness. I've also properly fixed the texture issue on one of the Twi'leks, so if you were using the older version of this mod you can safely delete N_TwiAssasin01H.tga from your Override folder.

    Instructions:
To install, simply choose your desired version and copy mainmenu05.mdl and mainmenu05.mdx to your Override folder. To uninstall, simply delete those two files from your Override folder. If you are using my widescreen menu fix mod, overwrite when prompted.

    Known Issues
Obviously it won't be compatible with any other mods that replace the mainmenu05 model files. Note that any texture mods that alter the Twin Suns Assassins will also affect this mod. I'm unsure whether the Brianna version will be suitable for 4:3 resolutions (or a non-widescreen patched version).

  9. Kel Dor Modder's Resource for K1

NOTE TO ENDUSERS – THIS IS NOT INTENDED AS A PLAYABLE MOD!

This pack is a modder’s resource containing a custom Kel Dor head and modified body models with Kel Dor hands. This installer will perform a basic heads.2da and appearance.2da NPC row setup along with simple body variation UTCs for testing purposes. An on-enter script that spawns the UTCs next to the Ebon Hawk on Dantooine is provided in the TEST SCRIPT folder. Simply copy and paste the two NCS files into your Override folder.

Textures are provided with a basic placeholder diffuse for the head and a simple UV map for the hands. Because of the single texture requirement for variants, the hands have to share UV space with the body. This necessitated altering the UV layouts for all body models, compressing them 50% to make use of 1024x512 textures (original 512x512 body texture side-by-side with 512x512 hand texture). As such, the bodies are not compatible with third party textures/reskins. However, all models and textures use unique names, so there should be no conflicts/incompatibilities.

The head model has basic skin weights. The respirator mask has been weighted to the jaw to give it some movement during NPC dialogue, but possibly this may be a bit extreme. You may wish to experiment with your own adjustments to the skin weights, although it should be fine as-is for a player head, as they don't have any major jaw animation.

  10. Revan's Hoodless/Maskless Flowing Robes For TSL

This mod changes the models for the Darth Revan/Star Forge robes to a modified version with the cape and belts seen on the cutscene version of Revan’s robes, but without the raised hood and mask.

Alternative models with different arrangements of cape/belts/folded hood are available in the mod’s OPTIONAL folder. Once you have finished installing the mod, you may copy and paste the MDL/MDXs from relevant folder to the Override folder, overwriting when prompted.

This mod relies on Hunters Run’s Revans Flowing Robe TSL mod for the animations. You can download that mod from here:

    http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/216-revans-flowing-robe-tsl/

Extract n_darthrevan.mdl and n_darthrevan.mdx to your Override folder. If you do not have this mod then you will not have any animations for the cloak or belts.

    How to Obtain:
When Atris captured the Ebon Hawk, amongst the unencrypted data she downloaded from T3's memory core she discovered some interesting information regarding Darth Revan and his robes. She stored this data for later analysis, turning to the more pressing matter of the Exile's arrival on her doorstep.

While at the hidden academy on Telos, in the room before you get to T3 you can access the robe data via a console and manufacture a set of robes with the fabrication unit in the same room:

    Notes:
The male version is a straight replacement for the PMBJ model, so it will not be compatible with any other mod that replaces/modifies that model, or changes the values for that column in appearance.2da. Because of the way animations work, the female version must be set up as a disguise, so it uses its own independent models and appearance.2da rows and is unaffected by changes to the PFBJ model or appearance.2da values. Note, however, that this means it is not compatible with custom female head models.

The Darth Revan robes use the vanilla PMBJ01 texture, and is compatible with texture replacements from other mods. The vanilla texture for the Star Forge robes, PMBJ02, has no provision for the cape or belts, so I have provided a very basic replacement with those sections coloured. I suggest that you replace this with a better quality texture from another mod. I recommend ZM_StarForgeA08 from ZimmMaster's Revan's Jedi Robes mod. Download that mod here:

    http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/466-revans-jedi-robes/

Extract Zimm’s texture from his mod’s tslpatchdata folder, rename it to PMBJ02.tga, and then put it in your Override folder, overwriting when prompted. Make sure you do this after installing the current mod! Additionally, grab the TXI from the OPTIONAL folder and place that in the Override folder as well.

    Known Issues:
There will be some clipping during certain animations. Some of this is related to the animations, some of it the meshes. If you spot something particularly egregious, then let me know in the comments and I may be able to address it if it is model-related.

Currently there are no limitations on the generator. You can fabricate either set of robes regardless of alignment, and you can make as many copies as you like (with the caveat of course that once you leave the academy, you permanently lose access to the fabricator). I may change this in future.

If you are using TSLRCM, or another mod that has added 262tel.mod to your Modules folder, you will get a warning from TSLPatcher that this file already exists and was skipped. This is intended behaviour and not an error.

    Acknowledgements:
Thanks to Hunters Run for the n_darthrevan flowing robes animations, without which this mod would not be possible.
Many thanks to Fair Strides and bead-v for looking over my scripts, fixing/checking for errors and streamlining syntax.
Thanks to DarthTyren for his tutorial on camera placement (although I had to source the quaternion conversion elsewhere)

  11. Scoundrel Clothes with Scout Legs For TSL

Based on this request thread, this mod edits the K1 Scoundrel class starter clothes to use the legs from the Scout class, both of which are still in TSL's files, and sets this hybrid as the player clothes model (replacing the commoner clothes).

Two versions are provided, the original Scoundrel jacket with the strip of pouches on the left, and one without the pouches. Additionally, the female texture for the pouchless version was edited to remove the strange detail on the right side. By default the pocketless versions will be installed, but if you prefer the pouched version then after installation is complete simply copy the content in the mod's OPTIONAL folder to your Override folder, overwriting when prompted.

    Notes:
This is not compatible with any other mod that changes the player appearance.2da entries for the ModelB/TexB columns.

Although the models will appear in the character creation screen, custom heads will not use the clothes in-game unless you edit their appearance.2da entries.

  12. Scoundrel Clothes with Scout Legs For K1

Based on this request thread, this mod edits the Scoundrel class starter clothes to use the legs from the Scout class. It's a hybrid of the two models, with custom UVs to make use of both textures. Two versions are provided, the original Scoundrel jacket with the strip of pockets on the left, and one without the pockets. Additionally, the female texture for the pocketless version was edited to remove the strange detail on the right side. Simply place the desired version in your Override folder.

    Notes:
This will is not compatible with any other mod that alters the Scoundrel clothes model (PFBBS/PMBBS), that alter the Scoundrel textures (PFBBS01/PMBBS01), or change the Scoundrel's (small player size) appearance.2da entries for the ModelB/TexB columns.

The models used by the Scoundrel class are by default "small". I have upsized these models to "medium", the same as the Scout class (and what TSL uses for all classes). You may wish to use a mod that changes the rest of the Scoundrel body models to medium, or edit appearance.2da yourself to do so.

  13. Trandoshans Rescaled for K1

Not compatible with other mods that change the N_Trandoshan model or appearance.2da entries (textures are ok).

  14. Silver & Gold Trimmed Jedi Robes

Adds Jedi robes with silver and gold trim, styled after the “Silverlined Jedi Robe” mod by Cerasumat, which no longer appears to be available for download.

Use KSE or console command to add items g_a_mstrrobe47 and g_a_mstrrobe48 to your inventory.

Warning: This mod requires an environment map/cube map in order to get the shiny metal effect. In K1 it would appear that an alteration of the “envmap” column in appearance.2da is required to force this for robes (the simple addition of a TXI doesn’t work). This may have unintended effects on other model types, particularly custom textures with transparency. Additionally, the requirement of a 2DA edit means it will not work properly for custom heads without a manual edit of appearance.2da by the enduser. For those that wish to do that, change the envmap column for your custom head rows from DEFAULT to CM_Baremetal.

  15. Pre-War Style Silver & Gold Trimmed Jedi Robes

Adds K1-style Jedi robes with silver and gold trim, styled after the “Silverlined Jedi Robe” mod by Cerasumat, which no longer appears to be available for download.

Use KSE or console command to add items a_robe_47 and a_robe_48 to your inventory.

Note: This uses the K1-style Jedi robes mesh. However, it is not a port. While the original medium sized model was replaced by the new movie-style robe for TSL, Obsidian left in the original K1 large and small models for both males and females, along with the female texture. I have rescaled these models to the same size as the medium model, along with making some UV adjustments for the male model to fix various texture stretching issues.

Warning: In order not to replace the existing Obsidian robe models, I have overriden the J model slot – i.e. Revan/Star Forge robes – with the K1-style Jedi robes model. As a result, this mod is not compatible with any other mod that uses PFBJ/PMBJ models, i.e. any Revan/Star Forge robes in TSL mods, or that replaces the model in the J slot in the same manner.

  16. Rodian Female NPC Body Model

This mod adds an additional female Rodian appearance for NPCs. It adds a new custom Rodian body model which makes use of a scaled Human female player body. This is primarily intended as a modder’s resource, so textures are very quick and dirty recolours, meant to be replaced with proper ones by the end user. Skin is changed to a purplish-pink, and the clothing changed to a blue jacket, black pants, and a white shirt.

However, for the benefit of regular users, the merchant Geeda on Nar Shaddaa (the only female Rodian in the game) has had her UTC modified to use this new appearance. Note that the change will only work if you have not previously visited Nar Shaddaa, as appearance ID data is stored in your save file.

Additionally, for those that prefer the regular green skinned Rodian look, an optional face/hands texture is supplied. Once this installer has finished, simply copy the TGA inside the OPTIONAL folder and paste into the Override folder, overwriting when prompted.

I'll consider adding some additional bodies in the future, as well as a K1 version modder's resource. I also made some male versions a while back for Malkior to use in conjunction with his Rodian reskins, so hopefully he'll release those at some point in the near future. If not, I'll just release the models using the vanilla textures.

  17. Jedi Hermit Robes

Some of the Dark Jedi/Sith Assassin robes in TSL were repurposed versions of Jolee Bindo’s model from K1. Because the original model and texture for Jolee’s robes weren’t included in TSL, and due to issues concerning porting content from one game to the other, this mod adds a retinted version of the TSL Dark Jedi/Sith Assassin robes to approximate the original look of Jolee’s robes in K1. Note that this does not include the lowered hood like the K1 version, as that was physically removed from the mesh. However, one bonus is that TSL added a female version of the mesh, so this is available for both male and female characters.

Because of restrictions with the way body models in KOTOR work, the only way to add the model without replacing an entire class of existing clothes/armour/robe models is as a disguise. The problem with the disguise functionality is that is replaces the entire body, including the head. In order to show a head, a separate appearance is required for every single player and party member head. In other words, each version of the item will show a specific head, regardless of whatever head you usually have. The item name references which particular head it will show, so choose the one that matches your regular head. Refer to the player head reference chart or check your head ID in KSE. Note that this only includes vanilla heads. If you use a custom head mod then you will need to modify the head ID value in one of the added appearance.2da rows to point to your custom head’s heads.2da ID.

The item has the base stats of a Jedi Master Robe and is upgradeable.

    INSTALLATION
Extract the archive and run TSLPatcher to install. Add the robes to your inventory via KSE or console command. There are 40 versions of the item to cover all player/party heads. Simply add whichever are appropriate. Item use is restricted by player, sex, and party member, as appropriate.

    KNOWN BUGS/ISSUES
Both the TSL and original versions of the model have some issues with backface clipping of the "skirt" polys that cause some shading errors. This is an inherent issue in the model and not due to anything this mod does. It simply uses a hex edited version of the original models, they are otherwise untouched. Trying to fix it would probably cause more trouble than it would solve.

While the robe is upgradeable, in the Workbench rotating display it shows a commoner clothes model. I don't think this is resolvable because of the way the mod works. It adds two new entries to baseitems.2da, but it has to specify a pre-existing Body Variation (B in this case, clothing). I can't get it to show the Jolee robes model without replacing one of the base body types, which would defeat the whole point of going the disguise route.

While I did some basic testing to ensure that the items were equippable and didn't cause any crashes, the mod has not had any proper testing. Thus, I am releasing it here as a DS exclusive beta in the hope that some of you lot will play guinea pig.

As an additional note, the texture is not very good, basically just a quick and dirty colour overlay of the TSL texture. If anyone wants to do a proper version then by all means feel free to volunteer.

Also, I think I got all the heads, but let me know if I missed any.
