  1. Is the Garmorrean Stronghold in the mod/going to be in the mod or is it not being added? Would you be willing to make a compatibility patch with the existing mod that adds it if the K1R team won't add it? Also, how is the animations for the Krayt Dragon looking? Did you see my suggestion on getting a team of animators together to help do the work if it will be difficult for just you alone to do?
  2. Sorry to hear you're feeling burnt out. Take all the time you need. You deserve it.
  3. [NR] - Fight with the Krayt Dragon - Lack of/weird animations. FS Note: I will at the very least look into the model and the difficulties with realistically animating it... Is there anyone in the community who could possibly help you with animating it? It might be worth putting out an advertisement in different KOTOR modding communities; that way you could have a bunch of people doing just a small bit of animating, rather than just one person doing what would probably take months of work alone. [NR] - Sand People Messiah/Free Tatooine of Czerka - Not restored due to lack of HK-47 VO that would be needed. Same here. There are probably some VA sites out on the web that you can put an advertisement on. I'm sure there has to be somebody who can do an accurate enough impression of HK-47. [R] - Duan\Viglo getting drunk - This allows you to get a Sith Base Passcard to enter the Sith Base through the front door... It has been a while since I played this game. Any particular reason for the smiley at the end? I'm also noticing a lack of a Gamorrean Village for Taris. Was this not restored either and why?
  4. Sadly, the TSLPatcher doesn't support that kind of functionality and I don't particularly feel like coding a custom installer right now. However, as to the expansions, Sleheyron will be a completely separate mod, Return to Dantooine is more of a concept and in my opinion should be a separate mod, Bastila on Korriban could be done via TSLPatcher, Understood. Sand People Messiah would probably make it's way in as a part of K1R, possibly even 1.2 I remember ZM90 saying that it would be included separately because of conflicting too much with the canon story. I presume those plans have changed? the Czerka HQ and Tatooine Temple, while neat by themselves, will likely be utilized by the Sleheyron mod. So you will be implementing that cut content into the new planet as sidequests and or part of the main quest to access the Star Map? Sounds fine by me. I did PM ZM90 yesterday about an idea concerning a Tatooine located Star Map temple, but if the plans have changed, then feel free to ignore my PM ZM90 (if you are reading this). And the Brotherhood of Shadow Compatibility will just be part of my BoS Multi-patch. Also, what in specific will be added to Kashyyk for 1.0? I know the Shadowlands are not being added and the Wookie Amulet is being added, but is there anything else?
  5. some content for Kashyyyk What is this content specifically? Also, concerning the expansion packs. I had a suggestion on how to implement them with the mod. I think it would be great if they could be implemented into the main K1R mod itself through the installer for convenience sake. After installing the main mod, a prompt could come up saying something like this... K1R modification has been successfully installed! Would you like to install these optional expansion packs? If so, please tick the box of the ones you desire. [ ] Bastilla on Korriban (Brief 1-3 sentence summary of what the mod does.) [ ] Return to Dantooine [ ] Czerka HQ [ ] Tatooine Temple [ ] Sand People Messiah [ ] Sleheyron [Cancel] [Next] Then of course, since these all will be compatible with Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon's Revenge (Right? ) Another prompt could come up saying... Are you going to install Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon's Revenge? ( ) Yes (Both would be radio buttons to avoid both answers. If the user clicks yes, then make necessary changes to conflicting files to ensure compatibility.) ( ) No [Cancel] [Next] Then maybe one final box to confirm everything was installed correctly, as well as potential error messages ("The target folder is read-only. Please disable the read-only properties of the target folder to install the mod"). This could also help to avoid false bug reports, which would save your team headaches of trying to fix non-existent bugs.
  6. What will be included in 1.0 that isn't in 0.9?
  7. Multiple team members, myself very much included, have talked with him separately and in groups about the project ever since last summer, laying the ground-work for where we plan to go with this mod. Well, that is certainly great news. Seeing the dedicated TSLRCM team help SithSpecter out with Sleheyron is definitely a big step towards the mod seeing the light of day, unlike all the other failed attempts at restoring the planet. I'll be honest though and say my expectations are in check. Far too many times I have seen people with all these grand plans they have with a modding project (Not just in this community, but many others. Pokemon being one of the bigger offenders.), yet the end result is almost always a mod that ends up never seeing completion. Of course, since all this work is done for free, developers have every right to cancel their projects, but it still is disappointing at the end of the day. And it being K1R-Compatible is practically a must now that the mod is in a usable state... ...And it all (K1R and its expansions, this mod included) being Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon's Revenge compatible is practically a must since that is a "must have" mod that practically everyone has installed right....RIGHT?!?!?! ... ... Please?
  8. Third, I won't let it die anytime soon, no matter what. If anything, Sith Specter deserves to finally see this project come to fruition. Not only that, but it would be very convenient for K1R, as your team wouldn't have to create the planet on your own. You guys could just focus on the other expansion packs.
  9. Oh ok, cool beans. Oh, and if you could possibly try to make this compatible with KOTOR 1 Restoration mod and Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon's Revenge that would be super!
  10. You said you were keeping the original story, but I heard there was supposed to be another star map here, and apparently it is very difficult to mod the game to make that work.
  11. Hi devs. I was just wondering if any of you got to read my message here, more specifically this part... I would like to know what you think of this, and whether or not it would be a good idea to do the same with TSLRCM and M4-78. I feel this would help keep the entire restoration mod and its different parts more organized, as well as helping out people who aren't very knowledgeable of the developments that occur with these restoration mods. Having the main restoration mod and all the extra expansions in one download would ensure these people don't miss out on content they might be interested in playing. I was also wondering how the expansions for K1R were going to be handled. Are they all going to have their own separate forums or will there be just one "K1R expansions" forum?
  12. Wow. I thought that M4-78EP was the only additional restored content mod for TSLRCM but I guess this is another one. Are there any other restored content mods that add even more that TSLRCM + M4-78EP + Extended Enclave don't add? I remember hearing something about a Genoharden restoration, but that it is not complete at this time.
  13. This is an awesome project! Looking forward to all the expansions and of course the Hutt planet. If I may make a suggestion with the expansions, I would suggest including them in a separate folder along with the main mod, clearly labeled so people don't confuse the two. A readme file could explain what the expansion folder is for, and anyone who wants to install the additional ones could do so if they wish (either all of them, one of them, or just a couple of them). Oh and please, for the love of god and all that is holy please make sure Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon's Revenge, remains compatible with the main restoration mod, the Hutt planet, and all the expansion mods! Brotherhood of Shadow is just far too amazing of a mod that I could not imagine ever playing KOTOR 1 again without it. If I had to I think I would cry, it is just THAT good.
