It was actually meant for a p.m. to vp. The proof is that I was creating the head from scratch (the polyflow is based off of vp's revan head). The objective was to have something resembling vp's kotor revan head in Tsl. That stalled as I am experiencing some troubles texturing the head (my textures are not high qaulity enough).

Bugs and minor inconveniences with M4-78EP
Hunters Run replied to Hassat Hunter's topic in M4-78 Enhancement Project
Sorry if it had been discussed before (I did not go through the whole thread) but m4_78ep installes a hyperspace texture that is.....different to say the least. I am sorry to say that I do not like it. 1. It is glaring and 2. It doesn't fit so there is a crack going down the middle. Unfortunately removing it makes hyperspace stand still and putting in a txi file after removel, while better, does not look as good as vanilla hypersace. -
Youtube idiocy and VP's nemesis
Hunters Run replied to VarsityPuppet's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
Ah youtube idiocy, take a look at this: http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=197636&highlight=youtube to vp: If possible can you tell me how you got the real time workbench to function? I ask because it looks to be useful in one of the mods I am dreaming up. -
@HH I will assume by typing animation you mean use computer animation. Unless you created a whole new animation for typing the model is not needed. To clarify there already exists a use computer animation in TSL. The model should read the animaton based on it's parents supermodel. Simply put most models do not store their own animations. Instead they are linked to parent models which do contain animations ( example, s_male01). Unless it serves another purpose (holds a texture or model was changed) you can just delete it.
-
It was a while since I deleted the file so I forgot the exact name. Originally, I had planned to open it in 3dsmax to see what the problem was, but nwmax crashed. What purpose does the model serve? Why do you need an animator as opposed to-say, a modeler?

About the jittery droids. I know which model is causing the problem (c_drdprobe). After removing the files the problem went away but I don't know what the droids files are for. while these files are most likely for m4-78ep, as I haven't gotten to m4-78 I don't know what effect removing the files will have.

I checked out the mod. First, the author gives permission to use the actual mod file. Second, if you have already modified the dialog file the author gives instructions to fix the bug. I checked the scripts. Apparently you only get the conversation after the Leviathan. Darth333 has a fix for Xor not appearing. Check this thread. As for Ziagrom I checked his dialog. There is no script that determines availability. Perhaps if you created one that takes into account Xor and the Leviathan.

KotOR1 Restoration Demo Impressions and bug reporting thread
Hunters Run replied to ZM90's topic in KotOR1 Restoration (K1R)
I was looking through this tread and I saw the post about the Iriaz animations. After looking at the animations and discovering everything was okay on their end I thought of a possible solution. Add the Iriaz .mdl and .mdx to your restoration. These hold the animations. Perhaps having them in the override folder will fix the problem. If that doesn't clear things up than I don't know what will as the animations look fine. -
File Name: Revans Flowing Robe TSL File Submitter: Hunters Run File Submitted: 03 Sep 2012 File Category: Mods TSLRCM Compatible: Yes ------------------------------------------------- Knights of the old republic 2 Revans Flowing Robe ------------------------------------------------- This mod adds animations to revan's cape and belt. About the goto scene (the one with the video on moddb), I noticed that it wasn't playing the turning animation (while goto does turn there is actually an animation for turning). While I don't know if you scripted the animation in, if you didn't and want to the animations are turnleft(290) and turnright(291). If you did script them in then ignore the last line, obviously something isn't firing.

While the attacks don't match up it looks really cool. -
Ah, I see. Thanks for clearing it up.

@HH apologies if I wasn't clear enough. My question operates on the assumption that both mods are compatible with tslrcm. So what I was asking was if both mods are compatible with tslrcm why should they be included? Nothing against them, I use goto's yacht window textures myself and the only reason I didn't use vp's mod is that I didn't know it existed.
-
If they are compatible why are they included? Looking good by the way.

I am just throwing out ideas. To rephrase use a mocap device to get animations then.....But these things cost money and sometimes manpower. Kinect seemed to be a cheap alternative. If it doesn't work it doesn't work.
-
Lets see....animations from a kinect attached to a pc then imported into motion builder or similar, tweaked then imported into 3ds max to export.Tedious? Perhaps, but fun all the same. Plus realistic looking animations won't take forever anymore. Possible? who knows, but If I ever get my hand on the equipment I would try it out.

Ask the Developer of Revenge of Revan....a Question.
Hunters Run replied to Logan23's topic in Revenge of Revan
This question has to do with animations also. Are you planing on using vandars model for any scenes that require combat? I ask as it might coincide with a project of mine. -
